Strip 2008

Darling, I just got some tea with honey, pour some brandy or maybe rum in it, I don't know. Took some spices, one of it - cumin, light my cigarette and ohhhh, I just enjoyed it. After that its time for special cake. No, not one from the store, but from old granny's house and from the old oven. And this cake was put in granny's boxroom till I came and got that cake... Yeah sugar, that is all Strip. My strip for you, such modern-rural strip. What can I do? I am feeling that way :)

I don't agree with this being listed as Floral woody musk. This is straight up amber, and a very sexy one. In fact, it is the sexiest fragrance I've ever smelled! I don't think the juice in this is different from the all-over pink bottle - smells like I remember the original. Strip is long discontinued but I was lucky enough to find a used bottle for next to nothing. Sometimes it pays off to have email notifications on for auctions of perfumes you really want!

My bottle is very old; I got it the same year it came out, in 2008 and then never used it. I decided to test it today as I couldn't remember what it was like at all. The opening was alcoholic and very woody. For a moment, I thought it might have gone off. As it dried, all I could smell was wood, dry greens and a touch of smoke and I was not sure I liked it, wondering why I bought it in 2008. After one hour, the most gorgeous dry down appeared, sweet, powdery, ambery, sexy, and heavenly. I am going to start wearing this now, its gorgeous and quite unique compared to what is on the market at the moment 🖤💝💕

Wearing this today and I feel envelopped in a soft cloud of amber, patchouli and geranium. Slightly spicy, dry and not very sweet. It feels like a modern vintage, which is the case with all of the fragrances I have so far tested by this brand. It stays close to the body and the projection is low. I kind of like that. It does share a lot with Prada by Prada which I also own, but this one feels more floral to me. It is unique enough to keep both in my collection. .

One of the best smokey-amber scents i have ever tried and own(i have back-ups bc it's a very special edition issued by Christian Provenziano)'It is perfectly supported by musk and florals:sensual ylang-ylang and spicy geranium along with the earthy combo of vetiver and patchouli... who said this is all about sugar?
