Courant d'Air

I have a miniature of this, and based on the bottle alone, I was expecting something aquatic - aromatic and I was pleasantly surprised when it came out as a full-blown floral. It's strong at the beginning, almost harsh for a floral and quite synthetic, no surprise there. It's a typical '90s musky number, but one that has enough spice in it to interest me. It gets warmer with time, but also develops a stronger tumble-dry, launderette feel together, kind of like citrus laundry powder. Its dominant notes are white florals and musk, and normally, I would dismiss such a composition; I strangely like it. There's a hint of perfumy vanilla underneath the heap of sharp musk, and this saves it for me. It was an interesting try, but it's not something I would wear due to the lack of warmth, spice, sweetness, and overall depth of a natural composition, which this surely lacks.

Smells exactly like a garden center during christmas. very comforting and fancy. the blackcurrant is really fragrant, the vanilla is in the background but definitely there. I got 15ml second hand and def will be wearing this a bunch.
