Blue North

Agonist was a new name to me as not retailed in any stores in my neck of the woods, so this was bought blind online, tempted by simply the ingredients plus the reviews of Fragrantica folk. I noticed that people who liked it appeared to be fans of Serge Lutens Chergui and Tom Ford's Black Orchid, which made me think it was worth the risk. And I love it! I don't get the cold weather/winter thing in the blurb and in comments; for me, it works all year round and all day long. There's a freshness that keeps it clean on summery days - perhaps the mint and heliotrope? - but on a chillier day the ginger and the base notes are a cashmere scarf, warm but not overpowering.

Q80's review aligns closely with my experience of Blue North. A gorgeous almondy face cream. Sterile, cool to the touch, but something you would happily massage into your skin. I don't have a lot of experience with heliotrope, but i immediately recognise the same bitter-sweet almond scent from What We Do In Paris is Secret and Gucci Guilty Cologne. This is actually a great middle ground between those two beauties. I can feel the the sweet creaminess of Paris and the cool, glassy veneer of Guilty Cologne.

This is a beautiful,fragile fragrance. I get the cardamom and a minty fresh burst then orris and sandlewood, very enjoyable but very very linear, in fact I can just about smell it nose to wrist about half an hour after spraying hence I am just clicking like for this one had it lasted at least a couple of hours it would have been love.

عطر الشمال الأزرق من أجونيست للنساء والرجال Blue North Agonist for women and men جميعنا له عاداته الخاصة عند النوم من منا لا يشعر بحرارة الجو صيفا ومن منا يمكنه أن يستغرق أو حتى يستطيع النوم في ليالي الصيف الخانقة مقاومة هذه الأجواء الحارة الخانقة من شخص لآخر (ملابس صيفية خفيفة – حجرة مكيفة باردة الأجواء – غطاء ناعم ثقيل نوعا ما) هل تعرف هذا النوع من أنماط النوم صيفا هناك من لا يستغرق في النوم صيفا إلا وهو تحت هذا الغطاء السميك محاطا بتيارات من الهواء البارد الجاف الخارج من مكيف الهواء إنه مزيج من الدفء الداخلي والبرودة الخارجية هذا ما يريد أن يعبر عنه عطر أجونيست Blue North البداية تابلية من الهيل والروزماري في قالب منعش سببه وجود النعناع الزنجبيل في القلب سيزيد من اشتعال العطر ولكن لا تظن أنك ستكون بعيدا عن اللمحات المنعشة الصيفية حيث سيزداد الدفع بالنعناع النفاذ مرة أخرى وإلا تحول العطر لما يشبه عطر تايجر من هيلي لو أردت أن أجيب عن سؤال: ما هي نقطة تحول العطر وحبكته الذكية؟ فساقول بلا تردد أنه الدفع في قلب العطر بجذور السوسن النفاذة التي تشبه رائحتها رائحة زهرة البنفسج الثقيلة المترفة ربما بدون جذور السوسن كان العطر سيضيع وسط مئات العطور الجديدة عديمة الهوية ومع آخر نوتات قلب العطر ستظهر رائحة سويتية الخافتة وبهذا ستنقلب موازين العطر قبل الإغراق في الوسط التابلي حيث ستقوم زهرة الدم Heliotrope بهذا الدور وتكون تمهيدا رائعا لظهور الفانيلا في قاعدة العطر الكلاسيكية المتزنة والمكونة من خشب السيدار والصندل والمسك البودري إلى جوار الفانيلا الناعمة القاعدة بهذا الشكل تمثل ميلا لجانب السلامة دون الخوض في مجازفات كادت أن تطيح بالعطر وأرجح أن مؤلف العطر حاول أن يبتكر شكلا جديدا فريدا ولكنه عجز عنه فآثر الرجوع إلى بر الأمان العطر جميل في شكله العام تم توظيف المنتول فيه بشكل جيد جدا للخروج في النهاية بعطر صيفي على نمط وخطى الشهير 1899 Hemingway Histoires de Parfums for women and men فوحان العطر ببدايته ممتاز ويأسر من حولك ويستمر لفترة تقارب الساعتين بشكل ملحوظ ثم يخقت تدريجيا الثبات جيد جدا يصل ل 6 ساعات على الجلد بوضوح تقييم العطر بشكل عام 7.5/10

It's not a mint domination! the voting is wrong. It's a creamy bitter almonds with orris, heliotrope, cedar, & sandalwood. Buttery creamy orris is amusing with hints of vanished mint, and sea bubbles. Vanilla, cardamom, & ginger mix is incredibly amusing and balancing the creamy mixture. This one is very amusing comparing to their other blends as it's dry down doesn't contain that disturbing creamy sticky dense orange base stamp of their. So in short it's a woody orris creamy blend & it's similar to those anti aging face cream that has been created in Victorian era. Beautiful.
