As soon as Isis opens you get a sickeningly sweet accord of fruity flavours and loads of coconut. I'm surprised it's not listed in the notes to be honest smells a bit like cocoa butter or malibu with that hint of booze in there. As this oriental gourmand dries down it reveals the benzoin and peach vibe which I seem to instantly associate with more feminine vibes. It's not all peaches either, more a mixture of fruits which make it seem exotic like a cocktail complete with chopped fruits & umbrellas. This caramel business is serious in this fragrance, If you don't like gourmands I'd steer well clear of this one. The dry down is lovely, not exactly loud but it's not shy either, a definite sweet vanilla/amber which is fairly pronounced and has a smooth high quality feel to it. I'm a sucker for scents like this despite my grown up sophisticated side wanting to brand this as too sweet or not my thing. Isis plugs directly into my primitive brain which in essence is a big child that just wants comforting strawberry shortcake type aromas. In all honesty I couldn't wear it, the sweetness would even become cloying on me after a while. Agonist make really interesting juice though and some of them beyond classification.

Everyone else has already done such a great job of dissecting the notes that I will just say what this perfume is like to me. It's a woman in a sundress, or perhaps a man in a tan linen suit, sitting at an outdoor table in a sun-drenched garden on a leisurely day off. Beautiful butterflies of vibrant colors are making their way amongst the flowers, and there is an afternoon snack on the table. There are luscious, juicy peaches and tangerines. And there is ice cream--the creamiest orange sherbert swirled with a pure, sweet vanilla--drizzled with caramel syrup on top. There isn't a care in the world--only appreciation of the surrounding beauty and a pure, innocent happiness made more complete by the beautiful scent of the flowers and the delectable taste of the ice cream and fruit. This is Isis. I smelled Isis for the first time one week ago. I did not take home a sample or even a sprayed card. But I couldn't stop thinking about it all week...it's THAT great. So today I went back and bought it. I love citruses and sweet gourmand perfumes, and this one was the perfect combination of both. I know now that I have found my Holy Grail sweet citrus gourmand.

This is just gorgeous! I've never smelled anything that can compare to it. The overall impression is a multifaceted intense caramelized amber. It is so seem-less in the blending that you cannot pick out the individual notes. Excellent for special occasions and evenings out. Also great when you feel like you could use a pick me up. Longevity and sillage are stellar! This is worth every penny! 10/10 all the way!

Thick, heavy, rich, spicy Amber scent with a fruit cocktail in the background...canned, syrupy, fruit cocktail. Men seems to love this scent in a carnal sort of way. I love it! I think it smells absolutely nothing like What We Do In Paris Is Secret, as someone mentioned. Isis is much too deeply spiced to be compared to WWDIPIS. It becomes especially spicy on me in the dry down.

Yet Another Beautifully, Well Crafted Perfume From Agonist ! The Opening Is Bright And Loud But The Dry Down Is Sweet And Subtle. The Caramel Vanilla Peach Dry Down Is Definitely The Highlight Of This Wonderful Fragrance. This House Deserves A Lot More Credit Than It Gets! Longevity: Good Sillage: Good Full Bottle Worthy :)

This is a delightful fragrance and I'm going to enjoy my samples until they run out. However too expensive for me for a full bottle. I don't think this could ever become an everyday fragrance for me as it is quite sweet, more an "every so often".

This feels super smooth and seamless. Super high quality gourmand. I do not care for sweet fragrances that much, but Isis completely melted my heart. "Feel good" in a bottle!

I get caramel from the beginning, along with a surprisingly delicious combo of black pepper, citrus and peach. Altogether they give the impression of sweet pipe tobacco. Far into the drydown things get a little too sweet for even me when it takes on a sort of plastic amber ambiance. The nuance and the cider like quality of it is gone, which is unfortunate. Until then it's love, and even then it's not horrible. The spicy, smoky citrus reminds me of my beloved, and tragically discontinued Fifi Chachnil EDP. But the price... yegads!

High expectations for this one. Imagine my surprise when I wrote "vanilla Wunderbaum" (kitschy car air freshener brand) as my first impression. Both my parents have had vanilla Wunderbaums dangling from the steering wheel at some point during the 90's and 00's, so I actually like it for that reason (my mom would never understand to remove the plastic wrap little by little as the scent wore off though, instead tearing the whole thing open at once, positively BLASTING the car with the smell for weeks).

This scent is sweet yet not gourmandish sweet more like patchouli vanilla weird sweet. I do not believe this fragrance should be qualified as unisex as to my nose it is very feminine. On the plus side it is a warm and nice scent that has a very good longevity and sillage. Just not for men. Scent: 8/10 Longevity: 9/10 Sillage: 8/10 Cost ratio: 6/10 Overall: 7.75/10 Nice women frag for these ladies that like the sweet scents. Not a blind buy.

This reminds me of graham crackers. Sweet, with a light sweet spice, foodie. Thank god I get no ylang in this. I can't detect any anise or pepper either, but all the other notes I can sense, with the vanilla and caramel being the standouts, and some citrus in the opening. I have been testing the Agonist line recently and having disappointing results, but this one is quickly making its way into my top 3. Must buy full bottle!

"wow someone smells good" - OMG, that's me?! Def not just a nudder-nilla BUT an Amber, perhaps ginger, a lil twang, and vanilla; its creamy & dreamy. This fragrance is worn by Pocahontas - someone who is noble, kind, free-spirited, attractive, charming and listens to their heart. A PRETTY FRAGRANCE

Smells like Christmas to me. The beginning is super spicy and kind of piney smelling. As it settles it reminds me of balmain ambre Gris but sweeter, stronger and much spicier. Was nothing how I thought it would smell but still nice and has good strength.

fruity ... ... I can feel just peach. Not my favorite of Agonist.

I also got a strong pineapple note in the opening, then this turned into a fruity amber vanilla pudding. Initially I liked Isis, but 20 minutes later the sweet part took over. A little too much for my nose. Love the original bottle for this scent. If big fruity sweet ambers are your jam, this is your toast.

It's syrupy sweet. I'm starting to think I may be noseblind to amber because I don't smell any complexity in this at all. It's very gourmand, almost all vanilla and caramel. Not for me.

Notes sounded promising; unfortunately, what developed on my skin was the caramel...overwhelming everything else that might have subdued the cloying sweetness.

Rich fruit salad amber. For fans of gourmand, long lasting, big sillage scents.

An incredibly overpowering scent that has to b smelled to be believed! The full load is thrown out there on 1st spray with citrus (lemon/mandarins/touch of lime), peach fruits and dollops of creamy sweet caramel and vanilla. Whats so amazing is how well they are all balanced, there's just enough of the bright citruses to stop all the sweetness turning everything into a diabetic goop (for most people) and the citruses themselves are very high Quality. Loads of attention to detail has gone into the other notes too, but it is true the vanilla and caramel start to more or less total dominance. The peach has a tendancy to display the slightest dropback into the generic powdery/synthetic peaches all perfumes seem to produce but this just may be how a peach note develops with other sweet notes as I get it in many other peach containing perfumes. It can get all a bit overbearing and I for 1 would have wanted slightly more balance from maybe cooling woods or herbs/spices like anise to balance things, but this is maybe the best caramel out there , just below Krigler's Cognac Apple. Scent: 7/10. Quality: 10/10.

I love love love this one! It’s in my top 3 for fall/winter fragrances (and I have about 150+ bottles and equally as many decants 🙈 just to give perspective). It’s what I want any caramel perfume to smell like! It’s still an actual perfume and not a food smell... it’s so good and it’s not even that expensive (if you ignore the version in the bottle as is on the fragrantica picture but just take the normal bottle). I don’t agree that this has any similarities to Ani, it’s much more creamy and feminine. I personally can’t wear Ani at all so if you can’t either and read that comparison: don’t fret! Try it anyway! It’s a gorgeous amber, vanilla and caramel perfume that feels so good in sweater weather! During November and december I’m rocking this!

How have I lived without this beauty? The main thing I get all the way through is a spicy vanilla-amber. I can detect the anise, ginger, nutmeg, benzoin, and labdanum. I didn't smell any peach, sadly. I also can't say that caramel ever occured to me either, but I suppose it is there. I'm just a sucker for a good vanilla, and this is one of the best, a masterful blend. It is sweet, but the spice balances it out, so I never found it too sweet or too strong. It's a cozy, sexy scent. The drydown is heaven. If you like gourmands, definitely give this a try. I just wish they sold it in bigger bottles, because I don't see 50ml lasting me very long. I can still smell Isis over ten hours after applying. Surely this is what a Goddess smells like.

the fragrance lover’s journey is so interesting and always keeps me on my toes, man. i LOVE (caps intended) the accords here - caramel, vanilla, citrus, and sweet, balsamic amber. these literally comprise my favorite fragrances of all time. on paper, me loving this is literally a no-brainer... only, i don’t. at all. it’s too spicy for me and the spice overtakes all the things i love and makes the whole concoction come across as too sharp and too mature (not mature in life, just more mature than the fragrances i typically prefer to wear). needless to say, i’m a little bummed but mostly happily bewildered. on to the next sample/decant!

I got my hands on this scent when I bought Agonist sample box. I have tried all the fragrances, and are writing reviews and my opinions on their works. So what do I get out of this fragrance? It has a really well blended body, but is a special size. It has an almost medicinal vibe to it that is like a clinical penicillin scent. Either you like it or you don't. It contains a bunch of vanilla and amber complimented with nice with different flowery notes, really nice btw. It really is a true unisex fragrance. Not a definite feminine nor masculine fragrance. Overall rating: 6/10

Dippy, dippy fun. I would classify this as a gourmand fruit. It has a bright, warm, sweet-savory opening, like candied fruit, that yields to an immense confectionary caramel, vanilla, Angel-like mouth-watering sweetness. The amazing longevity allows for its evolution through caramel to marshmallow to pineapple and on to jellybeans. The sillage is pretty massive too. Ideal for a kid's birthday party, I think, but maybe not for work, unless your job is really funky. Also, really pretty bottle.

To me, Isis is gourmand with masculine undertones. I get mostly dry vanilla with the initial spray. Then it transforms into woody-fruity-spicy thing, each one is more pronounced at different stages. It's actually pretty good: on one hand, you have smooth vanilla and amber, and spice with ginger on the other. Having said that, it is not a loud perfume, it gets sweet and comfy with the dry down.

i adored this back in 2022 i just got a small decant cuz, i can't find a full size bottle anywhere... like, it disappeared? anyway, I tried it again and now that I realize it has caramel notes in it I am really offput, I'm not a gourmand girl at all, but I never got gourmand back in 2022 so I'm not sure why it's all I can smell now. It is very pretty, yes, just not for me anymore.

Mmm ... Boh...I do not know. Just applied it reminds me of a vanilla home deodorant. Then, I catch hard peaches, citrus fruits, a generous load of amber-benzoin-nutmeg and of course caramel.I also have puffs of ginger and heliotrope. In my nose the emerging star is benzoin. On my arm, vanilla. Sweet, warm, feminine, good for the night, the body and conception.

Pineapple, coconut and sandalwood vanilla. Huh? Serious pina coloda first on, then it dries past a doughy wood/vanilla into a lovely foody vanilla. But the pineapple coconut is so not an Egyptian deity. Weird interpretation. I don't get 99% of the listed notes.

Dear fragranticans, I wanted to buy this but in sites,it's not like Fragrantica picture,the yellow bottle ,it's like the third picture in the right side of page,a simple square bottle. Is it what it should look like?and is the only size for it 50 ml?

Dear Sofiya, unless you are a collector of perfume bottles, you better look out for the bottle as seen in the third picture. The yellow, artistical bottle is between 650 and 700$ (here in Europe), the "normal" bottle, however, is affordable. :-)

Smells like Caramel pudding with berries. So yes Caramel, vanilla and Peach are the prominent notes here. Real yummy, but leans feminine because of the peach. Peach and pear tend to be feminine in fragrances and this is no exception.

Notes are: Cistus, Green Tangerine, Ylang-Ylang, Black Pepper, Anis, Peach, Caramel, Heiotrope, Nutmeg, Ambre, Musk, Benjoin, Vanilla Absolute, Labdanum, Lorenox (an woody-leathery-ambery accord).

Definitely a Christmas scent. Christmas candle .. spicier Un Bois Vanille or cousin to Lira. Great longevity. Citrus caramel. Hubby said caramel candy bar 😆
