2025 The Alchemy Lab

2025 opens up strong and fruity, with great projection. After a few minutes, the oud becomes more apparent, with a little bit of funk in the background, not overly animalic, though, just the slightest bit. I’ve heard this be compared to Imperial Valley, and I understand the comparison to a degree, but there is definitely quite a difference. If it were compared to it and all its iterations, this would be the most refined and well done take on it, in my opinion. If I remember correctly, Imperial Valley has a bergamot note, whereas here the orange and mandarin are more prominent to me. After 10 minutes, the scent becomes creamier and more ambery. There is saffron in the background, and also a somewhat cool mintiness that might be the juniper listed in the breakdown. Going quite easy on the trigger with this perfume, the first hour of projection with 2025 is pretty strong. After that, it slowly starts to fade, lasting for about 6 hours on skin and 8 on clothes. Overall, a beautiful and well done scent that I would definitely purchase again.

This is an amazing scent. Not shocked because Ahmed-Al-Maghribi never miss. The rose worked well with other notes.
