Couture Noir

So I’ve been testing Couture Noir for the past few days, and I can confidently say: if you're an Aventus fan, you need to check this one out. This fragrance is a Middle Eastern clone of Creed Aventus, but with a fruitier and more refined twist. This isn’t just another harsh Aventus clone. Couture Noir opens with a juicy burst of pineapple and citrus, but it’s smoother and rounder than what you get in something like Club de Nuit Intense Man (CDNIM). The fruits are more natural-smelling, less synthetic, and balanced with a musky-woody drydown. Top Notes: Bright pineapple, apple, and citrus Mid: Hints of birch, floral nuances Base: Musk, amber, light smoky wood Compared to CDNIM EDP, this feels more elegant and less abrasive in the opening. CDNIM punches you with that synthetic lemon cleaner vibe early on — Couture Noir avoids that entirely. This is more of a fruity Aventus, with less smoke and more wearability. Projection is above average — you’ll get solid projection for the first 3–4 hours, especially with 2–3 sprays. Longevity is 10–12 hours on skin, even longer on clothes. The high oil concentration makes this last and last. Sillage leaves a clean, sweet trail that gets you compliments without being overpowering. This is extrait de parfum level performance — it clings to the skin in a rich but non-greasy way. The pressurized atomizer is a beast — gives a wide, even mist, much better than typical sprayers at this price point. The bottle is frosted with a silver crown cap, very classy and substantial in hand. Presentation feels luxe. TLDR: Fruity, elegant alternative to Creed Aventus No harsh synthetic opening like CDNIM Long-lasting with great projection Pressurized atomizer and high-quality presentation Great value for an extrait-level clone Less smoky than Aventus or CDNIM, which might disappoint fans of that facet Not super complex — it sticks close to the fruity Aventus DNA Highly recommend it for anyone who loves Aventus-style fragrances but wants something a little more wearable, elegant, and less played out.

This perfume didn't get the love it deserves imo, its somewhere between Creed Aventus and Nishane Hacivat. With some extra smoky profile and closer to the first. it definitely smells nice. its Aventus with added mossy smoky smell, which fits nicely Its Hacivat but bit fresher, sweeter and smokier Hacivat feels more complex & mature and foody like I like this more than Aventus as it adds another layer Longevity I have seen better, but value for price is insane.

Drydown is very similar to Imperium Fragrance World. I really love this, it's a hidden gem that not many people know about, which is actually a good thing since it keeps price low and ensures it remains unique.

I've had this one for about 6 months now, haven't worn it a whole lot but then again, I have several "Aventus" style frags. When I initially got it, longevity was basically it was on me and then gone in a flash. Smelt pretty much the same as it does now with perhaps a touch more fruit in the mid than was there to begin with. Quite refined, no harshness at all. After several months it certainly performs a lot better, I can smell it on me for a lot longer and as mentioned above the fruit, or more specifically a slight pineapple note, comes through in the mid. However for the most part, this is a lot more of a crisp, sharp (as in 'lookin sharp') take on the Aventus DNA with green apple and bergamot/lemon being the dominant fruit notes. So, no more rounded fruit notes like the blackcurrant or a more prominent pineapple. The dry down is also a sharper, more crisp version with basically no wood at all, just the oak moss. Essentially this is a lighter version of the DNA that lacks the added layers of depth from the woods and juicier fruit notes of the standard DNA. So I like it because it is Aventus DNA afterall and in typical AAM fashion, very good quality (pressurised atomiser as always) but, I don't love it. Certainly not as much as other Aventus dupes that I have, but *I do* still like it and i'd say this is best for warmer/high heat weather. Also keep in mind that generally this is going to be cheaper than CDNIM, at least it is here in Aus, so if price - quality ratio is a big factor for you then this is probably the better buy. I can assure you that you won't be complaining of "lemon pledge" with this one, not that CDNIM bothers me in that regard.

2/5 first impressions, not great, there is this stinky element that puts me off and is very prominent. I will give it some wearing and time to mature, but for now this is quite weak and not very alluring. edit: have to say that these Al Maghribis definitely need to get some time to smell like a proper fragrance, out of the box it smells flat and chemically, after a week or so it is much better. This one is a good fresh aventus type of smell, notes say apple and lemon but I definitely get sour fresh pineapple note, and the smoke is nice and light too. It all right, got it for $12

4/5 I really like this, it definitely needs to sit and mature, now after two months it turned into smooth bright citrusy pineapple with a musky smoky background. It lasts, projects, and can be worn daily. I got a backup bottle for $10. Deals like this really make you think why to pay 50 or more for a frag when Ahmed makes these decent quality creations for super cheap.

Decent frag, it is definitely smoother than Afnan and Armaf Aventus-y frags, but mine was kind of a moss bomb so I’m returning. If you like the punch and smokiness of CDNIM this won’t be for you
