“Sauvage Elixir has left the building.” One of the most masculine fragrances in my collection. I know the original Sauvage Elixir, and Ahmed Al Maghribi has recreated it almost 1:1—while removing the licorice note and amplifying the tobacco, black pepper, and coffee. Dark, spicy, masculine, and distinctive. It is the definition of a CEO fragrance—the scent of a decisive achiever, a successful founder and managing director of his own business, someone who doesn’t need to hide and wears this dark, black pepper scent with confidence. At first, it’s not necessarily a compliment magnet—until that incredibly strong, almost piercing black pepper note softens slightly and the attractive, calming lavender comes through. This is where the fragrance reveals its true character—and the CEO shows why he owns the business and what defines him as a founder. The opening, with black pepper, tobacco, and a subtle hint of coffee, conveys the CEO’s presence and authority. The following lavender and sandalwood notes showcase the CEO's capability. A true "boss scent"—intense that it can really only be worn by the founder himself or a chairman of the board. Signature-scent worthy. Performance: From experience, my Ahmed Al Maghribi fragrances (currently 7) have never really needed maturation. They delivered phenomenal performance and longevity right from the first spray—especially the sweeter, fruitier ones. Ighraa took about to to three weeks to develop its softer lavender, as it initially consisted almost entirely of pepper and tobacco. As an Extrait de Parfum with an oil concentration of around 40%, the sillage is very strong at the beginning—especially with that intense black pepper—and remains noticeable for several hours. Despite its strong notes, it is not the strongest fragrance from Ahmed Al Maghribi in my collection. And it is not a blind-buy scent. You really need to know the original Sauvage Elixir well and understand how it smells. If you enjoy bold, extremely spicy black pepper, tobacco, and subtle lavender accords, this is worth buying. However, it is not for someone who prefers sweet fragrances.

I've got ighraa last week, with other 9 or 10 fragrances from AAM. Nice and long smelling, but without projection. All of my 10 AAM, are just skin scents after 30 minutes, without anyone knowing I'm wearing a perfume. I'm lying, muzn is extremely strong. Its long lasting and projection is above average. I'm thinking those influencers are laughing how stupid we are :). All fragrance from this house are now in dark cold place, waiting for a miracle. Endless, Laathani, Summer oud, kaff, oud and roses, oud lavender, aqua oud, marj and ighraa are all weak. Some are quite strong in the opening, but they don't last. The weakest is oud lavender. I'm smelling just some citrus note, but long lasting as skin scent. Summer oud, Laathani and Marj? Beast mode? :)))) well maybe after one year in the cold daaaarkness :) I really hope that time will make them better. Today I tested Asad elixir from lattafa and to my nose, it's similar to Ighraa. Two hours ago I sprayed(five sprays each) hand with Asad elixir, other one with fakhar and now, I can smell just fakhar and that one is on the weaker side. So where is Asad elixir then? I know, that it will never be on my shelf ;). But if you like new Asad, you should try also this Ighraa. Now I've learned you should never blind buy a fragrance and never trust influencers ;).

So, i'm re posting my review as I was one of the first to post a review and have since learned that this frag is in fact an original creation; Ighraa released *before* Dior Sauvage Elixir or any of it's clones for that matter, which I find fascinating. Anyway. This is an amazing fragrance and a really great performer as well. It shares a lot of similarities to Sauvage Elixir but with quite a few prominent and wonderful twists like a rich coffee note in the base and a bit more fruit forward with the crisp top note of grapefuit and a juicy pineapple note in the mid. This has to to be one of my strongest performers. We're talking Parfums De Marly type performance. All day longevity, will stick to your clothes like nothing else and projects very well. The bottle itself is beautiful; frosted glass, pressurised atomiser nice simple design and while the cap is made of plastic, it isn't a cheap feeling plastic. If you like the Sauvage Elixir DNA then this is a no brainer. Highly recommend and Fragrantica is well overdue with cataloging this house. Hopefully they continue to add more frags as there are plenty more from this house that are well worth the money.

No, this isnt better than Sauvage Elixir. The Titan and legend that is Elixir will remain King bossman. However, Ighra'a is outstanding compared to the rest of the Elixir wheelhouse clones. I'm not talking solid, decent, good, nice. I'm saying this is the best you can get without the Dior Label. I got 12 hours right out the bottle, with noticeable projection for about 3 hours and scent trails for a good 7 hours. So the performance is up there with the Dior. The blend is very similar to the Dior but honestly on wearing this 4 or 5 times, there's days I think it's brighter, then darker, but its variation is more from my nose than the juice itself. This is very airy too, I leave my jacket(sprayed it twice leaving home) in the office for 10 mins returning to a lush scented forcefield. Dior has the final polish you would expect from a fragrance costing 4 times as much. But... it costs 4 times as much. Much like The Wire's Omar with a 50 calibre desert eagle. Even if you miss you can't miss. 9/10

Ighraa hits with heavy Sauvage Elixir energy and delivers massive performance. It keeps the Sauvage DNA but adds a woody undertone that pushes it into its own space. Two sprays easily fill a room. The scent feels stronger and more intense than many fragrances in this style. It smells clean, woody, and sharp with a profile that comes across as both designer and niche. It works as a bold signature scent and stands out far more than expected for the price. This is not a simple clone. It feels like its own creation with clear Middle Eastern influence. Kaaf gets more attention, but Ighraa deserves the same recognition. If you like Sauvage and want a woodier and more powerful version, this is an easy blind buy and excellent value. 9.5/10
