Wow I am speechless. This opens with clean leather covered in a very light smoke. Why "clean”? Because the leather on its own does not smell overly rugged. Instead, it feels clean and slightly smoked. To give an abstract image, imagine a clean new leather couch in a basement where you hang out and light incense while you relax. As you keep doing this daily, the slightly sweet smoky smell slowly sticks to the leather couch. As it develops, I start getting white flowers mixed with something warm and slightly earthy, which I assume is saffron blended with myrrh or olibanum, though it is hard to tell. Some seasoning starts developing in the background, possibly thyme or basil. Occasionally I get a touch of fruit when I move my hand, maybe raspberry, but here the raspberry feels toned down. This smells beautiful, especially considering the price. I am not sure what “cheap smoke” some people are referring to. I have smelled perfumes from brands like Nasomatto, Orto Parisi, Amouage and others, and I can say this is not cheap smoke. It is closer to incense. If we compare this to Tom Ford Tuscan Leather, this does not come across as sharp. Tuscan Leather has a component that creates a sharp, piercing, cold, almost surgical smell. This one, on the other hand, feels more rounded, less smoky, and more focused on clean leather while also being warmer. That could be due to the higher oil concentration, which means it does not project as loudly, but it lasts a very long time. I can easily imagine ten hours. From my observation, if you apply more sprays, it can leave a slightly animalic trail, but only a tiny bit. I would not call this an animalic perfume. I would say this smells more elegant than Tuscan Leather, which I find slightly more rugged and animalic in comparison. Overall, it is an amazing perfume for the price. For my taste this smells too refined and balanced but it's definitely worth it. Truly an interesting perfume

This is a wonderful fragrance that is easily up there with the high-end designers and even some niche brands. A very well balanced composition that doesn't come with the usual caveats of products from Middle Eastern clone houses, no piercing alcohol explosion, no sharp synthetic notes in the opening, no off-putting qualities, it's just a very high quality fragrance that is perfect right out of the box. It projects very well and the longevity is also monstrous. The opening comes with a nice gourmand raspberry-vanilla accord together with the leather, that is not like very spicy or animalic stuff, reminds me a lot of Spicebomb Dark Leather just with the spices replaced by creamy-fruity vanillic notes. The leather itself is not very dark or offensive, it's like a luxurious new leather sofa or car interior, not natural hide or raw leather-like. After the first 30-40 mins the fruity vanilla takes more of a backseat role letting the leather come forward and take the spotlight and reaches its final balance of the fruity, gourmand and leather notes in about an hour, after that it doesn't change much. As I said, it's a performance beast, easily 10-12 hours on my skin. For me it's a perfect date night or cozy bar night out fragrance that leans very masculine, the composition is similar to Azzaro Forever Wanted Elixir, but of much higher quality (no harsh synthetic notes and much better balance of fruity and leather accords) and for much less money. It's more like a fall/winter evening fragrance but can work in early springtime too, especially evenings. Don't recommend it for hot weather months though. I got it for roughly 25 EUR and the quality it brings to the table for the price is just unbelievable.

Well, my adulation for this house continues. Leather is mind-blowingly good, and I mean I am speechless. At 39% volume this little 50ml bottle punches like a heavyweight and left a oil sheen on me for hours. The opening is sharp, sweet and beautiful raspberry with a slight barnyard oud "funk" (the funk fades rapidly though!) and after 25 minutes is still fruity, but the fruit is lifting the overall scent which has settled down to being a really luxurious leather smell, can't tell if it's dark leather or suede, but this is hands down 100% better than Tom Ford or any other leather scent I've tried. Still got the hint of barnyard "funk" (because the funk never dies, it just hits on the first beat) around it, very visceral almost lusty kind of "I HAVE GOT TO GET MORE INTO ME!" kind of reaction. Strength - Nuclear! I put two sprays on yesterday and I could still smell this 12 hours later. The drydown is where the magic truly happens on this, the backbone and structure of composition from Ahmed Al Maghribi have made them my favourite house. Run and grab a bottle of this!

It opens with a fruity vibe, kind of like raspberry (not too sweet, just enough). Then the funky animalic leather starts to come through. After a few minutes into the drydown, the animalic leather tones down and turns into a softer, suede-like leather. There’s also a little bit of sweetness to it (I think it’s from the amber) and a mild cedar-like woodiness. Be careful with the sprays, because this stuff is strong and long-lasting. It lasts days on my clothes and around 8 hours on my skin, so I think 3–5 sprays is more than enough.

10/10. My all time favorite leather based perfume. It only costs around $20 or less but smells richer. If you are into heavy leather note, you're definitely going to enjoy it. Performance wise, it lasts literally days and the projection is so strong so careful not to overspray in closed space. And Dear Fragrantica, would you please add more perfumes from this brand? there are a lot of old and new releases that are worth reviewing but I can't seem to find them listed in the website. Absolutely stunning. I love leather fragrances so I was very excited to get this gem. I don't know how Tuscan leather smells like but this one is gorgeous. 61% oil concentration. For 20€. Superb quality As usual from Ahmed Al maghribi. This is Tuscan leather, but beast mode! The first spray is very strong leather and super animalic - it smells like horse! I wasn't sure and was so confused about it. After 20 minutes, the suede is really dominant. It's a very strong Tuscan leather *lookalike*, very manly. 2 sprays will stay in the room for many hours. Love it!

On clothes its shit, on skin its gold! I've got compliments from people who hate middle eastern and warm scents in general. This one is a gem but only on the skin. Highly concentrated! I keep getting whiffs of it all day. Don't know about the sillage and really don't care. Its good enough for me if I can smell it all day.

Straight leather and seude, made wearable with the bit of earthiness and very little jasmine (imagine ombre leather with like a quarter of the non-leather notes). I love it, rugged, very masculine. No woman will approach you wearing this, but hey at least they snapped their neck to see who tf is wearing this.

One of the best fragrance i own in my collection of 40+. The scent is eternal, i get whiff of it the next day of applying it as well. The fragrance is amazing, got so many compliments. Its not overpowering and not very subtle. Its a very balanced and nice scent. I love it. And for the price its a steal.

When factoring in price this is the best house hands down. Every single fragrance i have of theirs is super high quality. As for this it's fantastic. Smells pretty similar to aoud leather from montale except for it performs better and smells higher quality. 10/10.

This is by far the best performing middle eastern bottle I came across along with Hawas Ice and some Qurashi. Has a great leathery fruit profile. Worth every penny. The atomiser pisses to much, Should have gone easy on that. Other than that, NO COMPLAINTS

Absolutely love this fragrance. I have tried the original TF TL and the MA Toscano Leather and I definitely prefer the Ahmed Leather. Is a heavier scent than the other two and that's probably the reason I love it even more.

This is one of the most underrated tuscan leather clones out there. 90% similar and very good performance for 60 qatari riyals which is 16.48 usd. Absolute hidden gem clone.

Great projection wit 3 sprays Wore too much on a drive and made my friend vomit, dry down not as bad as people make it sound. More vibrant than tuscan for 4 hours

True to tuscan leather. First time ever seeing alcohol vol less than 50% in a bottle, i hope that means the rest is oil... But i know that's far fetched, they would have named it an extrait or a parfum had that been the case. In all cases it should be finished in less than a year. Moreover, all i can smell is as the name of this cologne suggests, leather. Ombre leather had more going on other than the leather note. but this smells like the leather of a new shoe or a car. Not bad given i have so many fragrances that can use a leather note for layering. Overall, not bad for the price, but i prefer ombre leather and its clones over this one. As I don't think i will wear this without another perfume on, unless i am in a bad mood that day... Edit: stays for long but sillage is weak.

Really nice leather-dominant scent balanced with white floral and (subtle) red fruit accords. I would not go so far as to say the notes are clearly jasmine and raspberry (to me anyway). It is bone dry and absolutely not gourmand. My bottle may not be representative, but the atomizer is among the worst I have ever come across. It tends to shoot a stream of liquid like a squirt gun. This may indicate failure to account for the liquid's high viscosity during atomizer selection/engineering.

To me, smells almost identical to Godolphin by Parfums de Marly, with just the olibanum making the (noticeable) difference (making Leather by Ahmed sweeter than Godolphin by PdM); apart from that, smells similar (even more than Tuscan Leather). Also, for me, it's not even close to Ombrè Leather by Tom Ford at all. In terms of lasting, my PH is quite special so, after 6 hours it just fades away. In terms of pricing, this is a great great value.

While I stand by my positive review below, I found Leather to be just a bit too "clean". To roughen it up and make it a little filthy, I mixed Leather with French Avenue's Spectre in equal parts. The result is perfect: a worn, old biker jacket with a white-floral boutonnière.

Extremely potent & masculine, feels like pungent pears to my nose

This is a house I am unfamiliar with, but with such good ratings surrounding their Leather scent, I had to give it a try. Leather is one of my all-time favourite notes, unfortunately this is exactly the sort of leather I cannot stand. It’s not a clone of Tuscan Leather, but it certainly reminds me of it. It has the exact same leather accord that Tuscan Leather uses to my nose, a particular leather accord which disagrees with me on a cellular level. However it lacks the horrible raspberry note, instead favouring a dry incense and soapy white jasmine - it’s much more pleasant than TL, but still not something I can enjoy. I can understand why people might like this if they already like TL, but for those that despise it like I do, I would stay away from this scent. It’s not a bad fragrance, just a style which unfortunately disagrees with me.

It has an after smell that’s as powerful but it’s often found in cheap Arabian fragrances. For the life of me I don’t know why I read these reviews sometimes but they were enough to make purchase and regret this. All this woody smokiness people are talking about is basically that cheap after-smell that’s is so common in cheap Arabian themed fragrances.

The amber-spicy notes are just too much for me honestly. Animalic start. The leather is good at the start, but slowly gets toned down by the amber-spicy notes gradually.

I dont know what Tuscan leather smells like but this stuff is not my cup of tea, it might grow on me who knows. It smells of wet old leather in the rain with earthy smell or old house with leather sofa and over grown shrubs. Raspberry note is also there throughout. It long lasting with high oil concentration

Extremely close to Tuscan leather with nuclear performance, the quality of this juice is extremely high, might be too powerful for some as people could smell this from across the street and it can take over a small room but if you enjoy Tuscan leather and want beast mode performance this is a great buy.

One of the best affordable leather fragrances one can buy. But make no mistake, Leather can easily compete with fragrances that are 5 times as expensive. Excellent performance as well. Hyper masculine and expertly blended gem for cold nights in Fall and Winter. Another winner by AAM, 9.4/10.
