Summer Oud

I truly appreciate a fragrance that has an evolution and Summer Oud is one of those scents. This is my second AAM, another blind buy lol but I had faith after I got Laathani. This opens up with a slight citrus and incense, the top doesn’t last long until it evolves into an earthy rose but sweetened up with caramel. AAM has this distinct oud that you can smell in all of their compositions, it’s not an intense oud at all. But, that Oud rides throughout the whole evolution and stays towards the end when it settles into a sweet rose/Oud combo. It’s not like the plethora of rose/Oud combos out there, it’s different and better. Almost criminal how good and classy this stuff is for the price (I paid 22 Euros for 60ml). Lasts the entire day as well and a huge compliment puller, WOW. 56% oil concentration of niche quality stuff for the price of a cheeseburger with fries and a milkshake? Are we dreaming here? Scent: 10/10 Seasons: Fall, Winter, early Spring (no way in high heat) Performance: 10/10 Presentation: 10/10 Price: 11/10 Do I like this even more than Laathani - which is one of my favorite fragrances of all time - from the same brand? Remains to be seen, but it's up there for sure. Do. Not. Hesitate (if you can find it for a good price). My otherwise annoyingly picky girlfriend (who owns 50+ niche fragrances) wore Summer Oud to an early Xmas party and you could almost see and taste the scent trail the entire night.. Otherworldly. 2 more bottles underway.

I decided to wear this today, just a few sprays under my D&G Devotion. It’s been sweltering hot where I live and I couldn’t wear any scent from morning till the night. But I suddenly had a craving for this. Now wearing it, I’m reminded of why I fell in love with this in the first place. It’s oud yes, not for the oud beginner definitely, but the oud is wrapped up in the smooth citrus creaminess likely from the combination of citrus and caramel. The saffron is quite noticeable and can be harsh to some noses but I find the scent well blended. Overall I find the scent, beautiful and intoxicating. Projection and lasting power is excellent as it has a high perfume oil content. However not a safe blind buy. Instagram: @umma_tofa13

This isn't a clone of Louis Vuitton Ombre Nomade, but it's a comparable original creation that you need to get your nose on; the quality will smack you in the face. I am already an Ahmed Al Maghribi fan but I think this is easily their highest end offering in both ingredients and blending. It opens with saffron, mandarin, and smoky incense. As it settles, it transitions into this slightly sweet and jammy rose mixed with cashmere wood, patchouli, and caramel. The base is niche...no other way to describe it. It's a smooth blend of leather, oud, and musky vetiver. It's pretty potent so you should go light with the sprays; very luxurious.

Amazing scentt. it opens with loud blast of Oud, mandarine and soft incensy smells. The opening 100% masculine, but strangely as it moves to heart notes, the rose and caramel going strong, giving oriental floral vibes. Its really weird on my skin. first hour its masculine power house, after 4hrs+ it morph into feminine smells. truly unisex fragrance. Scent: 8.6 Longevity: 8.5 (easily 8hrs+ on my skin) Sillage: 7 (small bubbles) Projection: 8.5 (project quite nicely for 3 hrs+ actually) A formal / romantic event for men. Business attire for woman. work great in colder month, obviously not summer fragrance.

Bought this as a blind buy and I'm glad I did. This is very rose, saffron, incense like. When I first did a spray test, it lingured around for ages in the room. The next day, I wore it to work, spray on the neck, wrists and about 2-3 sprays on my fleece jacket... It was an overkill, it was right up my nose on the 45 mins journey to work. As the day went, it died down but my colleagues could still smell it and I could smell it on me as well. It's a fantastic oud smell, just be cautious on the amount you spray as it's strong! It's certainly one that I will replace once it's used up

When i first bought this and tested it on my skin, It smell too strong of an gasoline oud. I almost thought why people says it's nice smell. I left it for maceration for 5 months and i came back to it again. OMG this smells so bloody noice. It smells a lot smoother and no more of the harsh and strong gasoline oud smell. Rather a smooth fruity, spice, rose oud combination. Bloody lovely on my skin now. I'm gonna wear this more often now that it smells better. Moral is, let it macerate and it will unleash its true power.

Worth every penny. Very high-quality for the price you pay. A beautiful mix of Oud, saffron, rose, and leather. Perfectly unisex. I like to put it on at night because the smell helps me relax. Strong projection that lasts all the way into the morning. I can always smell it on my skin when I wake up. If you’re a fan of Les Sables Roses or Ombré Nomad, you’ll be a fan of this as well. Layers very well with other spicy and woody middle eastern scent such as Oud For Glory, Musamam Black Intense, or Vintage Radio.

This perfume’s scent profile is amazing and versatile. Easily 8.5/10. Totally can rock this in high heat summers and as well as cooler nights. Whenever I use this perfume, I feel luxurious and worthy. Definitely highly recommended for anyone who wants to start exploring Arabian oud world. My wife, who despise strong fragrances and proper oud fragrances, liked this. 👍 Longevity is also decent. I get 8 to 10 hours on cloths and 7 to 8 hours on skin.

I smelled this beauty at the Perfume Expo 2024 in Kuwait and ever since the first sniff I fell in love with it. It is in the realm of Ombre Nomad by LV. Sweet Oud and beautiful realistic Rose with Incense. Amazing quality, stays for a long time on skin and on clothing until the next day. The projection is above average and leaves a nice scent trail. Only issue is availability in different parts of the world. Otherwise a 10/10 banger imo.

Absolutely beautiful fragrance... Opens with beautiful rose and floral vibes then dries down to a rich, dark oud with some hints of amber and sweetness. Is very well blended feels like a 300 dollar fragrance. It smells quite similar to LV Ombre Nomade which it is comparable to. As far as projection and longevity it lasted about 10 hours on my clothes and projects very well for a good 4 hours. 10/10 scent

this smells sooooo similar to Swiss Arabian KHOL AL AYOUN from the sawalef line after 3 hours on you're skin. in the opening its very strong on the bakhoor scent as fragrantica doesn't add that on the ingredients this sits as this very bakhoor note and then becomes very middle eastern feminine from the cashmere and turns into this very fresh oud floral scent in the end

Very oudy perfume but not too aggressive one. Once you wear it, people would immediately notice it's oud perfume, but a pleasing version. Performance is top notch, it can lasts whole day and projects quite nicely (again, not aggressive nor intrusively). Very ideal to be worn in special occasion as you would probably stand out (in a positive note) from the crowd.

Brilliant fresh, vibrant, spicy, and slightly medicinal oud fragrance. I do think this can be worn in summer but cautiously. Definitely a year-round fragrance. Can’t comment on the longevity and projection yet as I have just tried a decant on paper. Will give it a full wear soon. Ahmed Al Maghribi seems to be coming up with great creations. Must try!

This is a very beautifully blended fragrance, it took it a couple of weeks for more of the notes to pop up but it's essentially a slightly smoky and leathery, fresh rose-oud-saffron combo mixed with a hint of caramelized mandarin orange. Other than in summer, this could be a daily driver if you love oriental fragrances.

If u love your Oudh like me, get this one! Warm, woody, sweet, smokey, and intense. More than rose, I smell the Oudh. I would definitely wear this to weddings, parties, events etc. It’s so strong & beastmode, while being affordable. I would enjoy wearing this in the winter rather than the summer tho. Gorg!

The oud that ahmed uses is of very good quality. I'm amazed at every one of their fragrances. I own 85 now and none are rated under a 9.5. This is another fantastic fragrance from them with insane sillage and longevity. 10/10. Most of their fragrances have over 50 percent oil concentration which is crazy.

lovely incence with leather and smoke, topped with a light citrusy floral aroma. great once the sun starts to go down but i wouldn't wear it daily. go with a tester before you buy as it won't appeal to everyone. smells fairly soapy with the rose.

Really hard to understand, most complex perfume in my collection. It has insane projection, almost suffocating if oversprayed. I dont think its for extreme heat, it causes a headache. Overall great scent, I dont think its blind buy safe

Very pleasant masculine rose. Quite effervescent in the air. In my opinion, it is genuinely a year round fragrance, you just have to spray accordingly. I have legitimately worn this to the beach lol. Fantastic value for what it is.

Genuinely the strongest fragrance I ever owned, its the only fragrance ive had a random sudden compliment with plus whenever my, very good smell too. If you want people to smell you from across the room definitely get this.

I received a sample of this while buying another fragrance and that was enough. I bought a bottle straight away. It smells expensive and classy and has great performance. The Oud is at a level that is perfect for me. 9/10..

Very long lasting and projects very well. In my opinion, it is not a summer perfume as the name says. I wear it in winters and get very good performance and projection. The smells is very nice and oudy.

The dry down, I find it really like the Ombre Nomade. The fresh notes goes down quickly, and lefts with a nice oud rose and slightly leathery. if you like Ombre Nomade DNA, definitely go for it.

It's a very delicate perfume. Don't take it by the name. It's just built for year around I can say. It's smooth. Elegant and sophisticated. Probably the best from this house I can say.

Summer Oud opens with a surprisingly juicy, sweet, and leathery punch. The rose and saffron immediately take centre stagerich, slightly spicy, and beautifully blended. There’s a touch of brightness from the mandarin orange, giving a gentle zest that lifts the opening just enough. A hint of caramel sweetness follows, but it’s not milky or gourmand more of a soft, golden glaze that adds depth without veering into dessert territory. The leather here is strikingly similar to the one in Oud Maracuja. While I don’t get the passionfruit note others reference, I can understand where that comparison comes from there’s a tangy undertone layered beneath that smooth, luxurious leather. On paper, I barely detect the patchouli, but there's a soft, clean musk that anchors the base and rounds everything out. The leather remains the most dominant note, but occasional wafts of incense drift in and out, adding a smoky, spiritual edge. What really stands out is how deep and immersive this scent is it pulls you in. It's rich, emotional, and complex. I even pick up a faint lychee-like nuance, which I suspect comes from either the sweet, juicy rose or perhaps the oakmoss in the base. The musk ties all these elements together, creating a beautifully textured fragrance with an almost chameleon-like quality. Every sniff reveals something new. The oud in this is exceptional clean, woody, and balanced. It’s present, but never overpowering. That said, I’d avoid spraying this on clothes until I know how it behaves long-term. So far, this feels like more than just a summer fragrance. It’s a true collector’s piece. I’ve yet to give it a full wear, but I already know this is one I’ll be coming back to with intrigue.

I’m a little surprised by some of the comments here and the rating for leaning masculine. I received a sample of this with another purchase and immediately liked it, so I ended up picking up a full bottle on TikTok for £20. Honestly, the quality is surprisingly good for that price. If someone told me this was a £200+ fragrance, I’d probably believe them. The main notes I pick up are a smooth, delicate rose paired with a soft, slightly sweet oud. It’s very refined, but the oud is inoffensive rather than animalic or challenging. My only hesitation is that it leans a little feminine to my nose. Rose has always been a note I’ve struggled with in the past, and it’s only recently after trying fragrances like Initio Atomic Rose and Ex Nihilo Brompton Immortals that I’ve started to really appreciate it. Maybe I just need more time with rose-led compositions before this registers as masculine to me. When I smell this, I picture a well-dressed, confident woman in her 40s who clearly has her life together and smells fantastic. That said, for £20 the quality here is genuinely impressive.

This surprised me and how.... it is a fresh, sweet, airy smoky scent. not at all heavy to my nose but that might be coz its new. i think its a very pleasant everyday fragrance. i wore it yesterday and kept getting whiffs for a good six hours. perfectly unisex. dries down to a sweet airy cologne like scent

Fragrantica please add “Patchouli” from this house. It’s a very good one. For strong patchouli lovers.

First impressions: The opening smells a lot like Saharian wind by Mancera. Lasts on skin for hours

The oud in this reminds me of the type found in ombre nomade, but instead of a nice incensy raspberry leather and rose you get a strong dose of saffron. Beyond that I can't really tell what I'm smelling, I'm getting this woodsy green type of scent which I'm assuming is the cypriol and possibly the moss or patchouli which kinda gives it some freshness, but I definitely don't get any mandarin or anything remotely citrusy. I generally like oud fragrances, especially interesting new combinations and though this did show promise I just found it to be a bit too suffocating in scent profile without actually being that strong of a performer. Can't smell it on my skin anymore after about 8 hours so not bad, on my tshirt it's still there but it doesn't project that much. Despite the name I would not recommend this as a summer fragrance or for any season honestly

Don't know how people are comparing it to ombre nomade, that perfume is not sweet while this one undoubtedly is. Dont get any oud but there is a woody note that is balanced by the sweetness from amber. The blend is mass pleasing and like all perfumes from this house, it has amazing projection and longevity. Unlike the name, I would not want to wear it in the scorching hot days of summer

I had really high expectations for this one, but in the end, I don't like it. To leathery for me. I even don't have that 'beast mode" performance out of it. Yes, it's strong, sillage is quite good, but just for short time. Anyway, to leathery for me.

Works for summer evenings only, otherwise the rest of the year and maybe warmer winter. Sunrise evoking scent, really nice but not for everyone. I purchased a sample and probably won't purchase a bottle.

Let me start by stating: this perfume is extremely good quality, it's very luxurious, quality essences, packaging is awesome but the fragrance is too much for me. Besides, it's too male shifted. Straight on the highway to Vinted for resale. Too cloying, sharp, overwhelmed by the oud and the rose.... It's smoky, like smoking woods and roses. It's a beast of longevity projection and sillage of course. it has a vibe that reminds me to Crema Hinds for whoever is Argentinian or has ever smelled that body cream. This association in my mind makes me hate it instantly since I cannot help linking it to nursing home/old ladies. Not blind-buy safe, nooooooo! I hope I helped someone out there.

My first and last oud. Apparently I do not dig oud at all. I foolishly blind bought this and promptly sent it back. Not for me. It took two showers before I stopped smelling this on my arm.

I got this fragrance as a free sample with an order where I got Liquid Brun and Cafe and Cream. Which I'm thankful for because this fragrance solidified the lingering thought into a belief that I do not enjoy leather scents. The leather scent in this is quite strong; if that's your vibe, you might really enjoy this. I really think the mandarin orange notes were enjoyable for me, but the leather supported by musk is too strong. I normally enjoy musk, but in this case with leather, I got dizzy and nauseous. I think the musk is amplifying the leather scent. I think if the fragrance were more balanced, I could enjoy this more than hate it. I don't want to yuck someone's yum, but if you're on the fence on leather fragrances, I wouldn't recommend it for a blind buy, but if you are and prefer leather fragrances, you might enjoy it. Like others have said, it has some depth and complexity, but the leather just isn't for me. Even if you enjoy leather fragrances, I still can't recommend it as a safe blind buy. Only if you like mandarin orange, musk, and leather, then I would say go for it.

It is so strong but smells like TCP antiseptic mixed with our. It's not a pleasant smell.
