Washington Ave

There are few dupes to Greenwich Village on the market, so out of the few I was able to find Washington Ave by Ainash Parfums stood out to me. Their packaging was the most premium, and out of the sparse reviews I could find about this scent most seemed pretty satisfied. When it comes to the accuracy of a dupe, I've learned that I really need to try them myself rather than rely on the opinions of others, as it just takes less to satisfy some people which ISN'T a dig. Unfortunately, Washington Ave to my nose is far from a perfect dupe for Greenwich Village. It's in the same ballpark, sure, but it has much more of the 'burnt sugar' accord present in BR540, and a higher concentration of jasmine that all but mutes the aquatic nature that makes the original so enjoyable. I think if you don't mind an even more sugary, more feminine, and less fresh version of Greenwich Village, this may be right up your alley. Overall, I give it a 6/10. It's not for me, but that doesn't mean it can't be for you.

god damn if this isn’t a perfect dupe. I got a sample of the real deal and bought this off mercari hoping it would be the same. couldnt tell the difference at ALL, and I’m not a big clone person because they just aren’t all that most of the time. if you’ve got GW on your list, give this a whirl and spend your money on something else

Dead ringer for Bno9 Greenwich Village. Tested side by side. Indistinguishable. Beautiful spring/summer vibes but does contain "BR540 DNA." I recommend any from the Ainash line. They are affordable and very luxurious.
