Spilled Milk

It's a chilly winter night, right before it's time to sleep. Looking to warm yourself up, you bring a small pot of milk mixed with sweet vanilla, and honey to a frothy warm simmer. That's the best way i can describe the opening of the fragrance, the fabrics smell fresh, in a warm way, like you just took your favorite, well loved, silk sheet set out the dryer to make your bed and immediately lazily drift off into. It adds a beautifully elegant touch and the honey + toffee makes it very deep and rich. Upon dry down a lot of the extra sugary sweetness fades to make way for a soft ( but still sweet ) slightly earthy and still very warm, rich, and complex scent. If I sniff my wrist closer than anyone ever actually would i can smell the sandalwood but it otherwise stays diligently in the base notes, keeping everything together without stepping out of her line. The hay is this way too, but mischeviously straying just a bit to mingle with the honey without being too overbearing. Absolutely one of my new favorite scents

Hmmm it might be my body chemistry but this dries down rather more earthy/fresh smelling when I was expecting a warm creamy smell. I’m going to keep wearing it to see if it changes though! However 10/10 for air and weathers customers service on their Etsy site. They shipped out asap (even though it was holiday), shipping took less than a week, wrote me the cutest note, had the cutest packaging and offered me a coupon code!! Even if I don’t like this scent I wouldn’t mind ordering again from them at all!!!!

What happens when confection becomes performance art? Elaborate sugar sculptures dissolving under cascading cream; crystalline roses and spun-sugar ballerinas melting into sweet rivers, froth of sweetened milk cascading down intricately carved faces, the delicate filigree of fondant flowers and sumptuous buttercream swirls liquefying into pools of pure sweetness and warm dairy.
