Amber

Amazing stuff. It should be called Amber Oud. It starts of potent with some underlying barnyard but the barnyard goes away within minutes and you're left with an amazing floral powdery amber oud. Those that say it doesn't last long probably only got a sample of it. You definitely need to spray this one a few solid times to get the full effect. I wouldn't say it's nuclear but I get a good 8-10 hours. Longer on clothing obviously. The sillage is above average. You get a nice 3 to 4 foot scent bubble around you. This line from Ajmal isn't for everyone. These are for the true aficionado of oriental scents. I fell in love with it after my second wearing of it. At first it was a little shocking because I was expecting an amber similar to their W and A lines ..... No this is NOT that amber. LoL. Definitely worth the high price tag in my opinion.

It's Habit Rouge minus everything I hate about Habit Rouge (in a nutshell the pompousness and fussy, fancypants nature of Habit Rouge which makes me hate wearing it). Ajmal never disappoints. Exceptional value if you buy from discounters.

Cool, powdery mix of rose, rosewood, and just enough amber to give the distinct ambery sweetness. Powdery, rosey, ambery, slightly sweet, soft, cool, lightly woody. It reminds me a lot of Guerlian Habit Rouge, particularly the Sport flanker. The rose/rosewood combo here smells like the rose/bamboo accord in Habit Rouge Sport. Starts of as an amber and rose scent, followed immediately by a skanky oud. After a few minutes, changes to baby powder and remains that way for the rest of its life which isn't very long on my skin. Sillage is moderate.

This is the oudy reiteration of Shalimar, or Habit Rouge if you will. One can easily argue that Amber is also a relative of Musc Ravageur in the heart. A slight nuance here is labdanum doesn’t scream or act as a main player. Also rosewood accord makes Amber distinctly unique. Composed with higher quality and potentially natural materials, mainly indian oud and top class bergamot note. This is definetely a masterpiece and stays under the radar just like many other Ajmal perfumes. I am not a big fan of rosewood note, otherwise, this would be among my all time favourites.
