Cashmere Wood

A horrific opening thankfully calms down very quickly into a delicious, chocolatey gourmand-fougere hybrid. Very nice, not too OTT on the cashmeran despite the name. After a couple of hours it smells very pre-2019 designery. Not bad but not life-changing. It's good if you get it for 70 euros or less but the original price is crazy. If you like the more recent Amouage output you'll like this. Some here are saying it smells natural, but it's perhaps a few naturals on top of massive sludgy base chemicals, which is not necessarily bad, but it doesn't smell natural in the drydown. Update: this is one of the longest lasting perfumes I've ever worn, very impressive, and it does it without being obnoxious, although I'm going to ensure I never spray this on my clothes.

This is my first foray into the Purely Orient series. It is indeed very oriental. It’s actually more interesting than I expected. The oud is very smoky. The cacao is unsweetened. The orris prevents the blend from being too heavy, despite the notes’ dark hues. The cashmeran is definitely there, but it has a different texture than I would have expected. It isn’t creamy per se, but it is beautifully smooth. The smokiness makes it quite interesting. It isn’t a basic, traditional cashmere. I’m curious to try the others from this line. I three others in the mail! Strong projection, but rests closer to the body after 4-5 hours on me. Fine quality. Unique. Unisex, but may lean a bit masculine

This is how I imagine a Valentino Uomo Parfum would smell if it existed. It smells quite similar to VUI (moreso than DHI) but darkened with oud and killer performance. This just might be a hidden gem from Ajmal.

This stuff is so good. I’m happy there is no YouTube / Tic Tok hype train behind this. High quality and smells amazing. Reminds me of DHI with more masculinity and depth.

Just received a bottle from a swap deal. It is so potent, so strong...the smell, what can i say ....in the sospiro genre.... Hate this type of fragrance, it can be so cloying, be careful on the trigger with it. If you are a fan of Ajmal or Sospiro fragrances, or if you are looking for a fragrance that will overpower everything around it, this will work for you. For me, it is a pass! I will look to sell my bottle.

Got a 75ml bottle for $45. This fragrance is a killer in the iris game. It is quite similar to Dior Homme Parfum but the Oud is way more pungent , and the iris in this one is closer to the one in Valentino Uomo Intense. It has a strong performance , I get around 8 hours of longevity( behind the ear around 24 hours) , projection and sillage ~2 hours . A hidden gem if you like iris made in DH/VU style.

Think Dior Homme Parfum but more natural with a real Indian oud added. Delicious and very sophisticated fragrance. Dressed up rich men kind of aroma. No transitions or single notes just this glorious accord of chocolate, iris, oud and lavender creating the leathery very thick and yummy aroma. To me oud is minimal but very well done and noticeable.
