Dahn Al Oudh Atheer

I must thank my good friend here in Fragrantica for sending me a few drops of this most gorgeous compliments getter all the way from India. As the package was presented to me at the post office last week, I could detect the beautiful scent of Atheer immediately. I was very worried that the bag inside the package might have been broken then as the scent was so strong. As soon as I open the package, the Oud scent came so strong and so beautiful that I just kept on sniffing while opening the plastic bag that held the fragrance inside. As the oil was so precious to me, I saved it until yesterday for attending the wedding banquet of one of my very best friends. I can tell you I was definitely one of the best smelling guests at the banquet. Atheer smelled slightly pungent with the scent of a tropical rain forest I imagined at the beginning and quickly became sweet honey with wild flowers and unknown spices from some exotic faraway land. As it dried down, I kept smelling a warm, woody and slightly leathery scent with every slight movement or breeze and that got me compliments from five ladies and a gentleman among all the other 300 or so good smelling guests at the banquet. The fragrance stayed on my skin with moderate sillage from the morning till the late hours yesterday with just barely one drop. I will most definitely get myself a bottle later as I am now trying to have a no buy until 2015.

Lovely oud mukhallat, in the beggining it have soft wet lacquered woody smell with nuances of leather, there is also soft barnyard smell, then at one point it smells to me like new gum/latex product (package of new condoms comes to my mind 😄), then it develops into fresh spicy “vanilla” smell with soft sour background, cant really grab the smell its so soft and delicate, its like sparkling spicy doctor pepper is open somewhere in near distance. You can feel this spicy tingling sensation in your nose, it have almost anesthetic quality. Really interesting. Spicy but also little bit incensy. This one is in unisex category, not screaming loud, it develops in to the skin scent. High quality packaging and presentation of product in this price range category. Starting really like Ajmal brand.

This is the oud I was on a search quest for! This is how oud should smell. Soften the animality of oud with spices that add just the right amount of charm to create this wonderful, warm, hypnotic aura. Personality in a crystal bottle.

Refined Oud with the barnyard smell tamed by the spices. It has a dark and mysterious vibe. Projects and lasts more than the average Oud oil. Great packaging too. For those into Ouds recommended for a test. Shukran Habibi!

Here eruption of smell sour Hindi(tamarind) and woody and a very dark forest and wet well , And the smell of tobacco makes it greener and more darker The smell of oud here is very different and mysterious No smell of hospitals and Gauze Products The smell is very special and different And the bad feedback For lovers dark smells Strong Very masculine Hot 5/5 دهن العود اثیر از شرکت اجمل عطر روغنی بسیار باکیفیت و گرم و چوبی و غلیظ و شیره ای هست .ماندگاری و پخش نیازی به صحبت نیست . اما بو : نمیدونم تاحالا تمر هندی که تو غذا میکنن را بو کردیده اید یا نه .تمر هندی کاربرد زیادی توی غذاهای خلیج فارش نشینان دارد و چاشنی و پایه اصلی غذای معروف جنوب یعنی قلیه ماهی یا قلیه میگو هست . این عطربسیار شبیه بوی تمر هندی هست منتها چوبی تر بوی دهن العود اثیر رایحه ای بسیار سیاه و تاریک و شیره ای و کمی تمباکویی و تازه و مرطوب دارد . با همراهی ترش بودن و کمی ادویه ای .بویی خشک و بی روح و نا لطیف و بسیار قدرتمند و ناجذاب برای دیگران خصوصا کسانیکه روحیه لطیف و فلورالی دارند مانند بانوان . اسمون زمین بیاد این عطر رو به هیچ عنوان یه زن نمیتونه استفاده کنه .زن نماد لطافت هست و این عطر رو اصلا به هیچ روحیه لطیفی پیشنهاد نمیکنم . یه جنگل بسیار سیاه و تاریک با بوی عود های عطرای های اسپری هم کاملا فرق دارد حالت بیمارستانی هم اصلا ندارد هرگز با این عطر دنبال بازخورد مثبت نباشید و بالعکس منتظر طعن و کنایه هایی چون : بوی مدفوع خر ، بوی سوسک ،بوی سیگار ، بوی جگر کوسه ( خیلی جگرش بد بو هست ) و کمی محترمانه تر بوی تمرهندی ، باشید . توصیه میکنم چشم بسته ابدا دنبال روغنای با بوی غالب و یا کم نت عود نباشید مگر واقعا عاشق عطرای چوبیه تاریک و تاریک و تاریک باشید . البته بنظر من بدبو نیست ازش کاملا راضی هستم و همانطور که رز را نماد اشرافیت و شاهزادگان میدانم بوی عود هم نماد قدرت و حکمران میدانم. البته باید منتظر هوای سرد باشم تا حقیقتش بیشتر اشکار بشه. مرموز و مرموز و تاریک و تاریک

My rookie nose, once again, cannot discern any difference between this and the dry down of Al Shams. Resinous, woody, dry soil and leather. Not bad, but I’m unable to appreciate the differences between various kinds of Oud at this point. It’s an informative journey!

I bought this from an Ajmal showroom, Dubai the crystal bottle that holds three ml of aoud is so luxuroius and spells class. The liquid is highly concentrated and a drop from the dip stick is sufficient for the whole day. I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the steel cap, the way it fits on the bottl and the velvet in which the bottle was wrapped. The initial blast for the two hours is too good. Its slightly sweet aoud with a very faint touch of spices. And its tenacious. A friend who got wafts of this asked if this was a leather perfume. I did get compliments on this. There is no barnyard or animalistic vibe. The moment I open the bottle I smell inner bark of a tree in a rain drenched forest. And on wrist smell keeps changing like a bit of honey, green bark of a tree, slightly earthy, leathery, spicy etc., Review of K1 is the perfect description of this scent. Believe it. I strongly recommend this. If you are new to pure aoud or if you are into ck or creed you may want to sample this twice or thrice before buying a bottle. As oud is a natural product batch variations may creep in. Try it first.

I am almost lost for words to convey in my appreciation for your review. K1, I think you are dam lucky to get your sniffer any where near it. I would endure being scratched and bitten by the most ferocious of large kitties, in a battle to the death if needs must, no matter how sharp their claws and teeth are to get a good whiff of this stuff. I am quite simply envious. This old ginger cat is turning green. Meow :o)
