Evoke for Him

Evoke resembles many Perfumes but its v different in projection compared to others. Projection is V Strong & Sillage is Excellent easily can stay for 8 to 10 hours depending on skin & climate where you live. Packing is Good & Bottle looks Good too It opens with the Top Notes of Bergamot, Green Apple & Lavender. Middle Notes are Cardamom, Juniper, Orris and Heliotrope & Base Notes are Vetiver, Sandalwood and Musk. Prominent & Strong Notes are Lavender, Cardamom, Orris & Musk. My Rating is 4.1 out of 5. Ajmal recently came with Silver Edition of Evoke which is a flanker to Original Evoke and they just changed few notes. I like Original Evoke and feel Silver Edition is Little Metallic compared to Original Evoke

It is a masculine scent spicy woody musky. Clean ans crisp. Reminds me of crossover between La Nuit and Amouage Interlude him. Monstrous and a compliment getter.

Probably the best performing summer fragrance I'm aware of. Beast mode. 16-24 hours later and I still smelled it projecting a foot away from my arm. High quality but very generic at first, and initially I was disappointed. However, the drydown is superb. It retains the spice but becomes more powdery, slightly smoky, yet fresh, and that is an odd combination. I've had most success using this for layering. This is rich, cardamom heavy, long-lasting, and has a lot of facets for adding depth, and likability, and wearability to other fragrances. However, on its own I'm not fond of waiting several hours to get to the interesting part. This has a lot of great things going for it, but it won't be for everybody. $25 Well Blended cologne which smells very much like old formulation of Bijan Men by Bijan.... My Father use to have that cologne so i instantly recognize it and By the way i love bijan old formulation. It starts of with spice, citrus and lavender and settles down with a very masculine Vetiver, sandalwood and Musk. The silage and longevity is good aswell. Overall 7 out of 10 For me.

Had a look at this because of the La Nuit comparisons. I don't get that at all but it does remind me of Ferragamo F Black a lot. Doesn't strike me as well-blended and projection is lost after 3 hours on me.

Powdery spicy very synthetic smelling!! Perfoms fr 2-3 hrs in Indian weather.. Not worth 2k.. Max 1,200/- not a compliment getter... It's a like , not a love for this fragrance!! 2016 batch!!! Bttr skip :)

#1727 in my “Tour de Fragrance” Got this spray sample from scentwithsense.com. This scent smells like Armaf “Aura” to me, which costs roughly the same as this, performs roughly the same as this, and I gave it away because it was just okay and I knew I’d never have occasion to wear it. This is versatile enough, car pool. elevator and small office safe. The lavender gives it a traditional barbershop quality (that comes across dated to me), but it’s not overdone to point of smelling like laundry detergent. The scent is okay, it just smells like a drugstore cologne, same issue I had with the “Silver" and “Gold” editions, though I thought the “Midnight" was wearable. I noticed after about five hours the skin scent has a hint of ashes for some reason. Anyway, not going to be a bottle acquisition for me.

I bought this after a great experience with Ajmal Evoke Gold for Him, which is still one of my favorite office fragrances. Naturally, I expected good things here too. Initially I thought it just needed time, so I let the bottle sit for a while. Unfortunately, maceration didn’t help much. To my nose it still comes across quite synthetic with a sharp, headache inducing edge. The scent itself feels a bit confused. At moments it vaguely reminds me of Yves Saint Laurent La Nuit de L'Homme, and at other times there’s a hint of Salvatore Ferragamo F Black. I struggle to see when or where I’d actually want to wear it. Overall, it just didn’t work for me.

Horrible synthetic spicy and smells cheap

This is a great perfume. The opening is a bit spicy you will get a vibe of boss bottled. After 15 minutes it will start to tone down and spiciness will vanish in about half an hour. After this it will be all cardamom. Just like La Nuit de Lhomme. This cardamom period will last several hours and it is the most enjoyable part of this fragrance. After two hours you will smell very slightly woody part of this as well which is also very very elegant and enjoyable. cardamom and woody notes give it a very unique and decent vibe. Guys,this is a very very high quality perfume. I would categorize it as summer scent. It projects very well. Since this is Eau de Parfum version, only two sprays of this will last quite a long time. Do try this one. Scent: 8/10 (for me 10 is La Nuit/Bleu de Chanel) Projection/silage: 9/10 Longevity: 8/10 (about 8 hours on my skin)

I think it is quite a versatile fragrance. You can use in any situation and conditions. It is a clean scent with a bit of balanced spices. it is a perfect scent for office use. long lasting and projects like something but the overall aura is smooth and light, it is not on your face. I think it is very well blended and the base gets very exciting with vetiver, musk and sandalwood.

A few days ago I bought this perfume based on a review by Nikhil's frags on Youtube. I was duped by the hype. To me this perfume smells super cheap and ordinary. I rue the day I bought it. I am trying to get rid of it. Nikhil's frags, please don't wear this or you will choke people around you to death.

This thing smells gorgeous n it lasts n projects for ages.....The house of AJMAL provides high quality stuff.....
