Don't let anyone tell you otherwise, this is Sauvage DNA and it you definitely smell it. Ajmal didn't try to do a 1:1, though. This is more akin to Sauvage EDP than EDT; its not as bright, not as metallic, its darker and rich and spicy and just lovely, honestly. Its like a more gourmand-fougere take with how they amped up the sichuan pepper, and to my nose, Ill catch whiffs of what smells like oud in there during the drydown (and it smells amazing) Even as cheap as this is, its one of my absolute favorites to open the cap and smell the atomizer, out of my dozens of frags. For the price here, this really is a gem. The quality of the ingredients alongside the blend for ~20$ really is pretty amazing. Longevity is good for many hours, projection is quite good off my skin, but dont expect this to be anywhere near as loud as Sauvage. This is a much more grown-up, evening-oriented and cooler weather type frag. Since theres Sauvage DNA at heart, its pretty versatile, but it would probably excel in fall/winter or on a nicer, cooler datenight out. I really like how Ajmal went for a rich amber-sichuan pepper heavy blend with this. If you like the Sauvage DNA, I can say you'll probably be alright with a blind buy here.. Ive got Sauvage, Prada LRC, Ajmal Kuro, Armaf Ventana, and Franck Olivier bamboo.. Im a sucker for the DNA and this has its on own spot for me

Initially purchased a sample vial from FragranceNet, I almost didn't as they were charging almost $3 for a sample vial and I thought that was outrageous for a $20 cologne. But wow am I happy I did! After sampling this, I decided to pull the trigger on a full bottle. This stuff smells like what Dior Sauvage should be. Not sure if it's just my chemistry, but this smells like all the good parts of Sauvage without that sweaty, gross feeling. Salty, but not sweaty. Very warm and spicy yet light and fresh, with the black pepper and ambergris being the primary scents, with subtle hints of fresh vetiver and lavender. It makes an excellent spring/summer cologne. The sillage and longevity are also incredible, especially given the price point. I sprayed about 4 spritzes on me this morning at 7am, and it's still strong right now at 7pm. I'd say it lasts about 15 hours, so basically all day. For $20-$25, this stuff is an incredible bargain, I'd definitely recommend giving this one a shot. The only flaw I can really give with this cologne is the bottle, I actually keep it flat because it tips over very easily. 9.4/10

This aroma has already won me over, and I'm wearing it for the first time today after testing it in a perfume shop two weeks ago. It'll be one of my signature scents in no time. It's projecting incredibly well; I can still smell it on me after 7 hours, and it's pretty powerful. Despite the fact that the weather is cold and partly cloudy, I'm not sure if this will have an impact on its performance. In South Africa, winter is just getting started, and summer is winding down, but I feel KURO could easily work in all four seasons. In terms of price, it is extremely reasonable. I've never owned Dior Sauvage, but I've tried it, and the notes are similar to my untrained nose. But they're not the same; after applying Kuro this morning, my wife promptly grabbed a perfume that smells similar, and it's Uomo by Ermenegildo Zegna, which she had previously purchased for me, and the shape and color of the bottle bear witness to what we discovered. Despite the fact I still adore Kuro, Ajmal has done an excellent job.

Bought this at a local perfume shop without knowing anything about it. Was looking for a green-leaning versatile scent to replace my beloved Polo Explorer. I've since tried Sauvage and while I get the comparison (they both have that signature masculine fresh/spicy punch), Kuro actually smells distinct (and better) to me. Kuro has this dark green element that smells vaguely like a fresh, smoky forest. It's subtle so it doesn't weight it down, but it adds just enough to make it its own. This makes it much more interesting than Sauvage to my nose. Very versatile but more suited for nights or cooler weather IMHO. Perfect for fall days. Out of all the colognes I own (including several pricy ones), this is the one I chose to wear on my wedding due to it being inoffensive and unique. For the price, it's a ridiculous value. Only drawback is the comically stupid bottle design. It's basically the shape of a large cell phone. Otherwise 10/10 for me.

To me, Ajmal's Kuro smells like a lightened Sauvage inspired scent without the strong metal note mixed with some blue inspired fragrance, possibly something like Bleu De Channel. I really like that this seems to be a combination of 2 popular scents. It seems to die down for me to not projecting loudly after about an hour or two, but the sillage trail is still decent as I move around picking up the scent if I double back where I have walked by. Within about 3 to 4 hours, I seem to stop smelling it while being still, but a quick wave of the hand where I sprayed brings the scent out. After 4 hours, this barely radiates away from the body for me, so it becomes a more intimate scent. With 2 to 4 sprays, I get about 1 to 2 hours of decent projection before it fades over then next hour or so into becoming a more intimate scent. It lasts 6+ hours. If you keep the sprays to a minimum, this could work as an office or signature scent.

Awesome bang for buck. I had some colognes back in the early 90s when I was a little kid and it kinda smells like those and my dad's colognes. It has an old school barbershop smell to it and it lasts pretty long. It must be the Ambergris they used in it. I never had Sauvage so my experience is just limited to a couple of sniffs at Sephora BUT Sauvage never really stood out to me as a unique scent. This one has a bit more character in my opinion. It's an old school shaving cream scent that is just nice. I love it. I think it works everywhere and if you wanna spend the money to buy Sauvage and smell like shaving cream, why not buy this which has more character too? Update: Guys, go easy on this one. I sprayed 6 times and 2 and a half hours later, it's still following me like a rabid dog. It's kinda strong and can be suffocating if oversprayed. 3, 4 sprays max is what I recommend.

Excellent Clone of Sauvage by Dior, having both I can say after 5 minutes only a trained nose could tell the difference, Sauvage has more of a cold, crisp metallic opening than Kuro, which is comparatively more lavender-focused and aromatic, my nose is very sensitive to ambroxan and ISO E SUPER, this relates because often more than not you may think that Sauvage is gone after 3 hours, it’s absolutely not, it’s still there and projecting but your nose with filter it out, Kuro is more prominent than Sauvage, not meaning it’s stronger but you’ll be able to smell it on yourself for longer. Kurt lasts 7-8 hours on me with good projection and is at an amazing price/value proposition. Do yourself a favor and use Sauvage for more formal occasions and use this for whenever. 8/10

Makes the smell statement which includes having a spicy scent profile yet with a warm, inviting touch to it. Smells much similar to the Prada Luna R than Dior Sauvage which has got metallic notes in it and this, surely doesn't. Sets up a big boot for the person wearing in Indian weather considering the beautiful notes and the best of the perfume, that's the longetivity. Oh boy oh boy, this scores crazy high and a person with the likes of notes said should and must have in the wardrobe. The lavender and iris blend and the ending note with ambery sandalwood?(felt like it) makes this perfume wholesome and that too for the price point it's tagged, it just screams competition and still has no win standing against this.

I don't think Kuro is meant to be a dupe or clone for Sauvage but it does have the vibe and smells somewhat 60-70% close to Sauvage Eau de toilette due to the use of the notes. It opens with loud prominent Lavender, a blast of it and then comes the peppers and spiciness u get from it. The amberguis lurks in the background as a support and am glad that it isn't that prominent. Slowly this Kuro settles down into a slight greeney Vetiver like drydown. It's still mass appealing scents which I am surprised Ajmal didn't mass market it enough to be available everywhere anywhere given it's popular scent dna. Don't like the bottle design. Too long like an issey and can clumsily topple as it stands.

It Resembles Dior Sauvage to 85 to 90 % with Ajmals little touch to it, Most of Notes are Same as Sauvage except Cedarwood and Different types are Pepper Notes are added in Sauvage while in Kuro there is only One Black Pepper Notes that might be reason It has some less Metallic Notes compared to Sauvage it has light smokiness due to that black pepper note. Kuro uses Ambergris instead of Amberoxin that its Sauvage. It is Good Scent on its own and Resembles Dior Sauvage. I would rate this Perfume 4 out of 5

This is a beast!! On my skin lasts easily 10 to 12 hours. Does fade to a skin scent by the end but I can still catch a wiff here and there . On clothes(not exaggerating) lasts 72 hours plus . Sprayed on a sweater and wore it for the day, threw it in the hamper.. on laundry day 3 days later I smelled the sweater and I could still smell it!

This is a value for money DNA of Dior Sauvage EDT. It’s masculine and fresh. Lasts 1-2 hours and can be a good gym scent. Projection is above average and performs better on clothes. If you want to run errands and want something that is value for money with similar DNA to Dior Sauvage, this is worth exploring. Shukran Habibi!

If you want alternative for dior sauvage then here it is, initial notes have some less peppery but after dry down its so close to sauvage. It doesn't have alcholic blast in starting ,its so smooth and long lasting that you can enjoy this on your clothes upto 6hrs , value for money fragrance from the house of ajmal.

This reminds me of less ashy drown down of armaf club de nuit preciux for men without the fruity opening. I like it, it's safe, masculine 50% similar to original Savauge. Can't beat the price. Ajmal is soooo underrated. All there fragrances are safe blind buy that I own. Shiro is another good one.

Tried ajmal kuro a few days a go at one of the local shops where I live and as I own and love ajmal zeal I can confirm with confidence that they are very similar In my opinion we don't have to own both as one of them is enough Edit: bought a backup bottle for a fair price selling at $18

I own Prada Luna Rosa Carbon and this is better, no earthiness. It has the Sauvage aromatics but not the annoying aspects! Ambroxan is perfectly blended here. Wonderful scent. There are no "better" fragrances, Sauvage is disgusting compared to this. Save your money for more Ajmal Kuro.

This was a blind buy for me after listen to a lot of the fragrance reviewers. I have Dior Sauvage also and they are absolutely correct that they both smell the same especially the opening. I will definitely be getting another bottle. Great scent!!!!

Amazing perfume with great quality at an excellent price. Highly recommended. It has very good sillage and long-lasting performance. It works perfectly all year round, in every season, and suits almost any occasion. A great fragrance overall. ❤️👏🙏💯

Everyone is saying this is a good Sauvage clone, it is. But, it is an even better clone of Prada Luna Rosa Carbon. Dry down smells just like my decant of PLRC, all the way down to the note of Soil tincture. I just save $80. :)

The dior savage clone. i would say 90% similar ,but i like this one over the savage . sweet lavander manly fragrance which lasts so long and peojects amazing for the price ,9/10

I got a new 90ml flanker right off Ajmal's franchise stores in India, a place of tropical weather, moderately hot to hot climates. Firstly, this is nowhere a clone of Sauvage as many claim, I can say there is a hint of it in the opening but for few minutes only and I guess this is where people make this mistake. This juice will reminder you many other famed fresh/oriental/fougere concoctions. It is blended well, has a standing and complexity of its own. The first 15 minutes this projects well of spice/fougere/freshness, Amber starts showing up quite fast and it remains powdery lavender/woodsy for next 30-45 mins or so, this is bit feminine and will be a love-hate point for many. Thereafter it quickly transforms into earthy/patchouli scent and remains so for next 5-6 hrs. Also observed, I didn't get the Citrus hint throughout. Did others feel the same or my nose is not tamed enough to pick the hint of it. ? The sillage, it is only a beast in the first 5 minutes and leaves a trail for 15-20 meters that will leave people around guessing. The powdery lavender and warm spice is pleasant and will project easily at 8-10 feet around post this the transformation to patchouli and earthy smell which remains in your personal space and can be picked by anyone 2 feet around you. I smell sweet oud too in the end. Personal suggestion: This juice behaves differently in day and night. I will recommend this more for outdoor and go easy on the nozzle if used for indoor as it fills up the room and be cause irritation to others. This concoction has varying projection according to weather and observably performs best in warm weather (preferably evening or night) and can easily project for 5 hrs atleast thereafter becoming a skin scent. Conclusion: This is slightly complex perfume under the budget, you just need to experiment it accordingly for your skin chemistry and the environment. This is a mature fragrance for a sophisticated 30+ man, can be worn for formal and casual dressing. Not a panty dropper but seductive enough and will definitely invite complements from women. This is a good office scent as well but ensure one of two sprays is enough. Go ahead, blind buy and you will not regret.

This stuff is potent. I don’t own Sauvage, but I’ve smelled the edp version in a store. I haven’t sampled Prada LRC. This smells similar to what I remember of the Sauvage edp and it definitely hits you with that “Oh, I’ve smelled this before!” which leads me to tentatively believe the comparisons, as those scents are so popular. It also served to help me finally identify the ambroxan accord. Regardless as to how close it is or isn’t to Dior or Prada, it’s a great fragrance. Peppery, salty, fresh, spicy, and in the dry down you start to pick up the underlying notes, though they are understated. It also lasts and continues to project, at least on my skin. I put it on at 7:15 this morning and it’s currently 8pm and the stuff is still pushing. Considering how inexpensive it is, I would say it’s blind-buy worthy. The biggest downside is the bottle. It looks fine, but it’s rectangular and about as wide as closed laptop. So good luck standing it upright.

Definitely enjoy this one! After it settles for 2-5mins it smells extremely similar to Sauvage EDT, as I sprayed both on either arm and the differences are minimal. Kuro is a little less loud than Sauvage projection-wise but longevity for me is still very good with it lasting a solid 8-10hrs with around 10 sprays. Upon initial spray there is this medicinal like smell that I don’t really care for, maybe from the vetiver or ambergris but that quickly goes away leaving you with a fresh spicy concoction that smells pleasant & has great lasting power (which is somewhat rare for me as my skin seems to absorb fragrances). There might be better clones of Sauvage EDT out there, but for the price and quality of Kuro you really can’t go wrong if you don’t want to shell out the money for Sauvage. Was a blind buy and I’m glad I have it in my arsenal!

Such a nice fragrance here with suitable price and good of performance. It is my blind bought for this bottle but still pass my expectation of the scent of this fragrance. I had wore this perfume for quite of time. Its perform well as i expected with good scent of fresh spicy and aromatic push forward to my arms. When it was dried down, the floral and woody is gone but there is some fresh spices and lavender on my skin. The overall performance is around 6 hours with 2 hours of projection. The things is when i wear it within 10 minutes and i go to my car, i feel dizzy from the perfume that spread out to the room and it feels uncomfortable to me. However, i like it and would like to wear for several day times to work or even casual days. Scent: 8/0 Silage: 7/10 Longevity: 7/10 Score: 7/10

Not so much a clone of Sauvage (Kuro is less brash and shouty), but a cousin of Luna Rosa Carbon (mature, understated). If you're looking for a very versatile fragrance that suits most occasions and environments give this a try. Masculine. Lavender and geranium prominent, slightly citrusy, spicy and soapy. Good performance 6-7hours on skin and longer on clothes. I got it for ZAR400 (equivalent of $26, which is good bang for buck). Some may say it's "boring" or "uninspiring", but I've got other fragrances for when I want to make a statement. This one is my workhorse fragrance that makes sure I smell clean, fresh, unassuming and well put together. This has quickly become my current signature scent, I should get a back up bottle anyday now.

I have smelt Dior Sauvage but have never owned a bottle. Kuro definitely isn't as loud in the opening and I found it to be a little synthetic in the beginning. But as a I wore it more, the smell started to grow on me. The dry down is especially great as you get the full blast of the metallic ambergris, smoothened out by the vetiver. The pepper and lavender are really prominent throughout. Overall, the fact I like the most is that while many would say this is a Sauvage clone, Ajmal has given it a lot of tweaks to round off the scent profile and it really can pull its own weight as a standalone scent. The best part is of course the value, especially in India.

Easily the best Sauvage clone that I've come across. It's a little less sharp, like a lot of others have said, but the performance is really good and the quality of the scent itself is really good too. There's also a very slight smokiness to it that I don't remember from Sauvage. They may have just used a different kind of pepper note, or maybe it's coming from the lavender. Either way, it's a great scent and is still very close to Sauvage. Above all, the price is great. I got this for about $19.99 and it's definitely worth every penny. If you're looking for the Sauvage scent without the pricetag, this will definitely be one to look at.

I blind bought it based on youtube and community reviews and truly regret it. I can't comment on the similarity to Sauvage, but it's pretty soft and weak. It smells good and longevity is 5-6 hours on skin, 1-2 hours more on clothes. But it sucks on projection and sillage. I am pretty new in my fragrance journey and learning things the hard way. Money down the drain. Update: I tried it again after few months and was shocked on how good it smelled. I don't know what changed but this is much sharper, stronger and pleasant smelling. I am totally loving it now. The longevity and sillage have also improved. I am starting to like it now.

Bought a spray sample for my husband. He's never worn Eau Sauvage so I can't comment there. I have a sample of Luna Rossa Carbon so I need to do a comparison. I like lavender on him - Eros, but that lavender is a bit strong and it seems lavender is a bit prevalent lately in the general population (Libre, Mon Guerlain, Eros, JPG, etc.) so I've been buying lavender samples for him to try that are less popular options. This seems like a high quality smooth and balanced aromatic/floral where the none of the notes overpower the others.

Ajmal is doing a wonderful job in cloning or rather creating similar vibes of renowned perfumes after adding their own touch... Now I wouldn't call that cheating but rather getting inspiration from someone and then trying their own experiment on that... Take for example... Kuro... very fresh and lavenderish opening... a bit spicy as well... in all... a very good fragrance at a very decent price... Performance on clothes 8+ hours

Smells like laundry detergent upon initial spray but quickly dries into a Sauvage-like frag. Less dense than Sauvage so don't expect the beastly projection that Sauvage has. Would be better if that detergent note disappeared completely and it would certainly be closer as a clone. Can't be mad because it can be had for around $20, but there are closer and better Sauvage substitutes for at or close to the same price.

Definitely inspired from Dior Sauvage but its not a 100% close clone. Its 85% similar and is on the sweeter and woodier side, a little bit more aromatic and less metallic than Sauvage. Personally I like Sauvage better but this doesn't mean Kuro is a bad fragrance. A good Sauvage dupe for a great price. Longevity is decent at 6 - 5 hours with medium projection. Do not overspray you it will get cloying.

The initial smell you get is lavender and after 15-20 mins pepper is more prominent. Great scent for rainy/gloomy days and cool summer nights. I only apply 3 sprays, 1 under my shirt as it projects heavily and might be overwhelming if you go with 6-7 sprays. Very long lasting UpTo 8+ hrs and amazing spillage.

Similar to Dior Sauvage, less loud, lacking the "pop" or brightness in the opening. Smells really nice, with decent projection and longevity (though again not to the level of Sauvage). Great deal from discounters if you're looking for an affordable alternative to Sauvage or Prada Luna Rossa Carbon.

Peppery & salty lavender slowly morphs into an earthy bergamot-forward vetiver. Definitely in the same vein as Sauvage EDP & Luna Rossa Carbon, a comparable dupe if you're interested in either of these scents. Can work all year round, but I favor this profile in warmer months.

Smells clean and fresh. This is almost a beast projector if sprayed more than 15-20times on both skin and clothes together especially upper body. Lasts moderately, but if you want to smell clean and also want to have something affordable, this is worth it.

I have the batch from 2023, it's a better clone of sauvage than ventana. The newer batch are bad and smell cheap. But the bottle i have snek really good. Performance is obviously not as good as og, but comparable to ventana.

Almost perfect clone of EDP sauvage. Too dense/rich for summer. At the start smell like dylan blue opening but immediately turns into lavender and peppery like sauvage.

A fragrance with fougere style that is appropriate for men I think.Very lavendery and fresh opening and a little spicy

Dior Sauvage... On what planet?? 🤣 Definitely more of a "Prada" clone. Great sent though, can't beat that price

10/10 would recommend if you want to buy a cheaper Dior Sauvage cap is a bit gimmicky but the scent is perfect.
