Lahadhaat

Spicy and powdery unisex. Starts as masculine and woody-peppery, but develops into powdery rose and resinous citrus. Great for office, business meetings, on elegant side, it has grown on me during last few years, it is unusual eastern fragrance for people who search for something out of the crowd, yet easy to wear.

There is a song by Valentino "kada sam prvi put video tebe" ( when I first saw you) that will always remind me of Hazel eyes Emanuel. Now it applies to Lahadhaat as well. Straight away one gets struck by a delicious, utterly memorable cloud of woody almost funky, animalic oud enveloped in a piquant, titillating vibe of spice. It then goes on to develop further into a more creamy territory with gentle nuances of salty ambergris with a touch of bergamot and the smoothness of vanilla, just an ethereal touch of it enough to give an air of lust to the supporting geranium and Rose, and one with a powdery streak. The amazing thing here is the input of spice, without any harshness, only adding depth and sophistication to a majestic composition. It all evolves around Oud, which graciously allows other notes to shine, yet, make no mistake, keeping a firm hold throughout! What a beautiful composition from beginning to end!!! The dry down, hours later gives off a soapy, woody vibe that stays with you for a very long time!! Add to this a heavy glass bottle design and you have a total winner. This is one of Ajmals Finest, and, considering the price, worthy of every Oud owner's wardrobe. Update 14 hours later (yes!) the scent trails into an intoxicating deep, balsamic and a touch powdery aroma, like all the notes morph into one beautiful well blended, harmonious concoction. This is unisex but the dry down phase is deeply manly and very erotic, like a soft kiss after an intimate encounter. Totally addictive.
