Musk Silk

A beautiful musk oil that has a strange roundness to it - just as it is about to get almost animalic and sharp, it veers into a clean sweetness instead, in an unexpected U-turn that makes you want to smell it again and again. It has the smell of skin after spending a warm but windy spring day outside, it's a hard to describe but very familiar scent, like a hug. It doesn't turn metallic or too perfumey like some musks do, it has an intimate sillage but great longevity, especially on hair (2-3 days) and clothes (3-4 days). I've been wearing it in cool, humid weather, don't know yet how it will act in summer - for now I wear it on pulse points and under clothes, it does activate with body warmth. I'd say it leans more feminine because it reminds me of a feminine perfume base but I couldn't tell which for certain. I'm not a big lover of musk or musk notes, but this one is a gem! I strongly recommend everyone to try it at least once if you can!

This is lovely, but smells nothing like lily of the valley or vanilla. It is neither powdery! Imagine wearing musk while walking through a pine forest... it smells of pine, fir and musk, nothing more or less! This oil emanates just notes of Tolu Balm, in all its glory. Really pleasant, but more masculine than feminine. I still enjoy it and recommend it for when you want or need to stop the world and dream of unspoiled mountains. Perfect for winter. UPDATE 3oth Jan - I keep returning to this bottle, especially when my house gets warmer. I LOVE the smell of this, so comforting and relaxing. I highly recommend!

A light woody powdery skin scent which smells so good it’s definitely my favorite musk to layer perfumes with. It’s inoffensive and lightly sweet vanilla that adds a touch of sweetness and powderiness without overpowering. It’s very soft and very intimate there’s barely any sillage with this but if i’m hugging someone they can definitely smell it. If you want to make the scent stronger and have more sillage , top it with the body powder version.

This oil + Montale Amber Musk = Silent Luxury. It has the same video as not a perfum overdose by Juliette has a gun. My mom got it as a gift from her from when her friend visited Dubai and this stuff is straight heat. Perfectly clean white unisex musk almost like those little cube musk I used to rub on my neck as a kid. I wish it was more available in Canada but it’s hard to find one for decent price without inflated shipping cost.

Mmmm don’t get it if you want something strong, this doesn’t last at all, and it smells nothing like vanilla and lily. the smell is 100% powder, but I’ll still buy it again and again and again, is really nothing special at all. Is been best selling for years now, if you into layering you would love this as you base

It smells like a 5 star hotel very luxury bathroom. I kinda struggle to get any smell out of it as it's very very mild. I use it on my clothes to enhance the freshness of my clothes and to layer it with other perfumes to boost the muskyness and performance. If you apply it on cloths and you wash it the next day it smells very nice. Longevity is great 10+ hours on skin and on cloths 2~3 days. 7/10

It is so beautiful 😍 Soft, airy and light. Not a huge projector but lasts for quite a long time. Every fragrance is not made to be a huge projector, there are some fragrances which a person wears for him/herself. This is the one.

Update: after buying molecule 01 and ISO e super aroma chemical I've come to this conclusion that it's nothing but ISO e Super. The notes given here is misleading

I like the scent but no one ever likes the smell on me.

Unfortunately, despite the raving reviews, musk silk CPO was a failed blind buy experiment for me. It simply lacked the promised scent profile and fragrance performance I'd hoped for, even after months of maturation. It eventually found its way into the bin.

Cant feel the smell at all. It may be like Molecule 01 or similar as it is claimed others can feel it. But as far i am concerned, i can't feel it all, only barely that is when i apple ample quantity.

this is one of the best seller musks at ajamal its a stunning clean floraly musk not like the pure white musk or like musk tahara this is a more perfumey musk its perfect for all users from all over the world it has a super long lasting lily of the valley facet it smells so beautiful clean and lasts for days its perfect for layering or on its own i got so many questions about this musk and all the people i recommended this for were extremely happy with the results just be worn that once you get used to it its hard to let go of it works perfectly after showers musks truly work differently on different people some people ar snomnic to certain musks for the emusk molecule is to large but this musk i believe is a universal floraly musk its not so powdery its not so simple its more of a perfume than a musk its a frenchy type of floraly musk reminiscent of chanel premier line its perfect for al weather it works well after showers when the skin is almost dry but still moist when the pores are still open and you use this for its a bit on the ointment side a small drop is all that is needed it can even be mixed in with your favorite bath oil or lotion or perfume or body spray its a an excellent layering tool that works wonders and stays clean and fresh throughout the day it also works with ones body heat and hormones as you walk and do your errands it whafts depending on the temperature of your skin and body its like an automatic perfume difueser ! an incredible silky dreamy floraly bright uplifting sophisticated fine musk fit for work for school for uni for workers at al jobs for it stays close to the body and gives that fresh aspect all day and smells just like a vail or a cloud of floraly freshness being sprayed on you all day ! this silk musk is a magical potion it works its wonders differnelty on each person depending on their own skin chemstery it works on all people from all difenrt parts of the world !

Smells good but pretty light. Projects softly. I can smell it on myself but no one else is gonna smell it unless they’re very close to you. Smells similar to Paris corner eternal musk, but eternal musk is stronger and slightly sweeter.

Silk Musk Ajmal is a good smelling perfume oil but its notes don't list musk itself.
