I find this Ajmal perfume most intoxicating & intriguing. I detect jasmine at first but the saffron & sandalwood is so beautiful, it fills your senses & you get carried away to some far away middle eastern soukh filled with all the aromas of that native country. One of Dubai's famous soukhs come to mind. The musk & sandalwood become more pronouced on the drydown. I was thrilled with my purchase, I think you just might be too :) Edit: I have to add the drydown is not that of a typical arabian oil, in fact it becomes more of a soapy clean smell, similiar to Paloma Picasso. I know, I'm rather amazed too but it really gives me remnants of Paloma.

I totally agree with you Roma27 - I love Najla so much. It's fantastic. Glorious. I agree the saffron and sandalwood are sublime. I wish I could go and experience the places this evokes. It is so intoxicating (just my cup of tea!), alluring and splendid. And the rose is beautiful too. Ajmal does such gorgeous roses, and jasmine, and all and everything is perfectly blended and rich and feminine. Wonderful.
