Oud Makhallat

Finally! This one makes it's way to Fragrantica. Creamy, smokey oud which is slightly sweet. A typical Ajmal creation. Massive projection for the first hour or so. Strong, but with a smooth texture. This gives me images of a high quality wool for some reason, and of winter time in my hometown of Aligarh in India. I really like this. For me this is somewhat similar to Dahn Al oud Mukhallat (the spray bottle: not on Fragrantica yet) by the same house. 8/10 for the scent Full marks for the presentation!

I completely agree with Nikhil, ajmal is king of oud..well lets talk about this heavenly gem oud mukhallat.This starts on my skin very Mild (not offputing) indian oud and settles down in 15 minutes. The best oud opening attar(surprisingly). And the drydown you get a little dose of clean and dusty sandalwood.

The wearer can barely notice it. But everyone around will get a very soft and pleasant smell. I wear it with Dehn al Oud, Dakhoon Hanan and Oud on the rocks. You can also use it with Italian Renaissance by Cadini.

This is a very nice Attar, I bought it on a discount and its a great value for money. The presentation - Its comes in a hard box and the attar is inside a beautiful crystal bottle, well worth it. The Smell - If you are understand Oud, this fragrance is a very typical Oud mix DNA, its a timeless smell, I remember my grandfather who use to often travel to saudi because he use to be a teacher at a university, and I often smelled something very similar on him. The smell is very pleasant and its typical Oud floral attar combo and you wont be disappointed if you get this. The Performance - This attar has decent performance about 3 - 6 hours depending on your weather conditions. Final thoughts - If you like wearing attars and are not too familiar to oud, this is great place to start discovering oud. If you are use to the high quality oud from Ensar, Sultan pasha and Areej la Dore then this might not satisfy you.

Its been a long time I am using various Ouds from Ajmal . If you like oud just buy it. Its a gem. Oud Mukhallat is a blend of multiple ouds and I just love it. Stays long even in Hot environment like India. Dhan Al oud is too strong & if you don't understand oud much you wont be able to handle Dhan Al Oud. I personally like this over Dhan-Al-Oud. Don't go for Nikhil's advice blindly, just try by your own. Not everyone likes Oud.

i have been using ajmals perfumes and ouds and mukhalts for over 25 years and in my opinion they offer some of the most beautiful and wearable ouds and mukhalts for everyone including non oud weares and european and western noses that are not used to all sorts of ouds i think they make brilliant perfumes that suit everyone..i am not sure about this particular one but i will test it and give my review when i can ..i am not affiliated with them or any other perfumery but from the other reviews i read i just felt that i need to say a word of truth that ajmal from my experience in perfumery for over 30 years truly offers some of the most amazing connotations they have hundreds of perfumes but their quality is usually of superior quality given their relatively cheaper price point than their counterparts they do have a higher range of perfumes with superior oils and a middle line and a cheaper line but all respect the artistry of arabian perfumery and some of the post 2000 creations blend french and european type acords with more authentic accords blending the eat and the west to recreate stunning perfumes that please noses world wide i rarely ever regretted any purchase from ajmal for their perfumes are made with dignity and integrity and they truly shine i a time where synthetics are bombarding every corner of the perfume industry ..obviously they have statistics as well but they try to keep them at bay and do try blending them with as much naturals as possible but in this day and age its really difficult to not use synthetics anymore and i think we have to overcome the stigma of synthetics many of them are being created in beautiful wearable ways that we all eventually have to somehow incorporate in our daily perfuming routine in one way or another

This one is great...surprisingly mild for Ajmal. The overall smell reminds me of elements from other Ajmal mukhallats, and of the smells attempted at by some of the famous cheapie attars by Swiss Arabian and others. This is really nice! Friendlier for those who don’t know or dig hindi oud than, say, 1001 Nights...more florals, saffron, here. There’s a nice accord that reminds me of olives in it. ...kinda like a mix of Rasasi’s Manal with Ajmal’s 1001 Nights. What really shocked me is that my wife expressed loving it, when it started to reach a nearly-all-florals dry down! She hates oud! She wasn't in the room for the top notes, luckily, haha! This one's performance is confusing. Shortly after applying, if I sniff where I applied it, I smell almost nothing...and yet, well after this happens, beautiful whiffs occasionally hit the nose from the air. So it puts out more smell than it has on the surface of the skin?

With nikhil's exaggerated review on FB, Was excited and next day possessed it, only to feel cheated.. not sure, if the one I got was an dud..But guys...Trust me..This is absolutely waste of money. Past 3 years started experimenting ajmal ouds..And I am regular to whatso ever ajmal has to offer, u name it I started owning, but this one proved to be an eyeopener, choose the mukhallats care fully and ouds precisely, otherwise u will face complete dissapintment.

I don't know why people are judgemental about Nikhil. I have seen his video he give an honest and informative review. he never tells you to buy the product. in fact about this product, he gave a good review . I think Fragrance is subjective .so Guys stop blaming people, make your own decision before buying .

Nikhil is paid for saying good stuff for perfumes. His all reviews always show good words and not true reviews. I was surprised when he said the same for Ajaml sandalia and also Ajmal Mukhalat which got the synthetic rose.
