Oudesire

Well!!! I did blind-buy this gorgeous divinely beautiful oud, thank you so much Bbjr!!! It is just as you say (and I love your review). I'm not much chop at describing perfumes myself, so all I can say is WOW!!! This is fantastic! Soft and smooooth and gentle, beautiful oud. The rose, and jasmine and raspberry, blended so well with the splendid oud, makes Oudesire the perfect name for this sublime fragrance. It's one of my most favourite perfumes. Such a wonderful fruity, slightly spicy, flowery, smooth creamy oud perfume. I LOVE it!!!

This stuff is absolutely amazing. It's longevity is great, not nuclear, but definitely my favorite in this line from Ajmal. It starts off slightly skanky with some barnyard behind it. This lasts maybe 5 minutes tops. This is my favorite floral oud combo ever produced from this house.

This is a funny (and funky) one. Rose, jasmine, orange blossom, black currant, even sandalwood? Anyone? Maybe it’s just me but all I got was barnyard, barnyard, a little zoo and then more barnyard. And mind you, I do like meself some good ol’ leathery medicinal oud. I fiddled some with layering it with good quality flowery frags hoping for maybe kind of TF Flower Oud effect...But nope, like my friend put it: smells like a horse pooped and then some flowers grew upon it. Still will hold on to it for a bit to see if maybe it plays out differently in a while. Anyways, the point (and my unsolicited advice) is: even if you like harsh oud and leather, do NOT blind buy. Haven’t asked my husband’s opinion on this one yet (as I usually do) bc in this case I’m concerned he might puke. )

I am normally too sceptical to be fooled by perfume advertising, but Oudesire caught me with my guard down and I was very entranced by its promises of luxury and refinement so I blind-bought. I was delighted with the gorgeous packaging, complete with obi strip, display plinth, stunning heavy gold ingot bottle, nice accordeon folded card with product info designed beautifully in both English and Arabic. As delighted as I was with the bottle, I was dissapointed with the juice.It has an enormous orange blossom screaming at you in a frequency its hard to hear but you know you're being screamed at, and underneath it is a very strange quality that smells remarkably mushroomie. This is not what I was expecting... or what I really wanted. It is quite overwhelmingly dense which very quickly fatigues your nose, so to enjoy yourself wearing it, put it on your ankles far away from your nose. I never truly feel very comfortable wearing this, I think next time i will try it as a cloud mist to walk into rather than straight onto the skin.

Branded as Luxury Product with Price & Design But Ingredients are Soften to Core. Although Ajmal Perfumes is One of my Favorite along with ASQ, Arabian Oud & Few Others. This Product Disappointed me a lot. Oud is v toned down and dont go by name as its not pure oud based. Oud is one of the Ingredients and its v soften up. I thought it would be a Masterpiece but its an Average Scent. Price is V high. Presentation is V good & Its Hyped a lot. I completely agree with #Gileshowe. Oudesire disappointed me a lot. Ajmal Perfumes have a lot of Masterpieces in Perfume line up. You can try others. For me its not worth the money. My Rating is 3.0 out of 5 because of Presentation, Design & Look but Juice wise the ratings would have much more less.

Just arrived today from Oman. Stunning! No hard Oud notes here whatsoever. This whole concoction comes together in a perfect way. Sorry I'm not good at describing notes, just never had the knack. The best way I can describe this one is take zegna's Indonesian Oud and smooth it out by a factor of 10. Whereas zegna has that harsh note, this one is doesn't, at all. I get the rose, jasmine, and Oud with a trace of the raspberry. So far the longevity is 8 hours and still going strong. Another gem from Ajmal and totally blind buy worthy if you are an Oud fan. Just my opinion.

Terrible performance on my skin. Kind of animalic barnyard opening with the oud, but the dry down leaves so much on the table because of such poor performance. was really hoping to dig this one. Greatly overpriced. Hopefully the rest from this line of Ajmal is better. So far it seems they are when i read the reviews. It's hard to write a better review for something that gives so little to write about.

I had to change my revue since I've worn Oudesire for the second time. It does open with Oud but also Tobacco, which is not in the notes list.I can't recognize anything else , don't smell raspberry or orange blossom ( must be due to my post nasal drip)

The presentation is very good and the opening is very good. I like the opening which is not harsh. Like an expensive girlfriend, you will be impressed in the beginning but lacks longevity.

Fruity, clean non-barnyard Oud and floral. The closest thing I've come across that resembles this is Bond new york oud. To those referencing barn yard, I totally disagree.
