Qafiya 2

This is a wonderful composition and high quality though it eventually dries down to a predominant common sandalwood note, but I'll get back to that. First it's either a floriental or a woody-oriental, or both, but the floral aspect is undeniable. And I get dried fruit out of this myself as well though only a citrus is listed for it as is coffee I don't find. This is a subtly sweet spiced floral fragrance that's creamy and yet has an early effervescence to it. My very first thought was that this is spectacularly blended and I cannot pull any single note out of it, not even when reading its pyramid. This is an Eastern artwork. Spices? Yes, but smooth, balancing the settling floral aspect and pushing this unisex scent masculine to Western audiences. Finally, I have never experienced a fragrance whose performance is on the same scale as this and I have hundreds. The projection is tenacious, the sillage is simply off the charts, and the longevity is measured in days not hours so do not be concerned about this becoming a generic synthetic sandalwood because that is only a direction it's headed. Some powdery florals and spice notes continue in the background throughout. Thanks bhai for recommending it!

So I have had this perfume for the last 24 hours nearly. I sprayed a tiny little spritz in my left cubital fossa (inside the elbow) and i can still smell it this morning. This is a testament to Ajmal's potential to give other international brands a run for their money. Good ingredients, well balanced, nicely rounded and nothing smells harsh. This perfume reminds me of India (my home) and the Khaleej (my love) in Canada (my country). For a long time I was hunting something that could smell like the pears soap bar which reminds me of my late grandmother. This perfume smells like that. Wear it in pride if you're a true man's man or if you're a true woman's woman. Gorgeous stuff ! Smells like wealth.

Every now and then I come across a fragrance that is hard for me describing. Qiyafa 2 is definitely one of them. First of let me tell you that just 2 to 3 puffs kept my entire office full of fragrance all day. And after 3 days it is still going strong on my shirt. It is an absolute beast with monstrous silage and staying power. Now like I said, it is hard to describe its notes which to me were a bit metallic and spicy in the beginning and then it continues on and on and on as a nice musky sandlewood fragrance . All in all a beautiful and mysterious fragrance but not a blind buy. A definitely winter weather fragrance for formal office or semi casual evening events.

I tried it for 3 days, the opening reminds me of something that I cannot figure out. The opening is smooth spices & florals. The dry down is an elegant santal and it can noticeable for 12 hrs I have a theory, if I can still get wafts of what I’m wearing after 8 hrs, so this perfume is a beast, With qafiya 2, I’m constantly getting wafts of santal after 12 hrs, which means, it is a beast with no doubt. Update: Now I figured out what it was reminding me of I tested it side by side with spicebomb, replace tobacco in spicebomb with Santal and you will have qafya 2

Love at first sniff cannot believe the quality for the price beautiful scent... On the look out for a back up bottle real hidden gem my favourite in my collection shame its discontinued

It smells religious, posh, white collar and elite middle eastern. There's no question about performance since this is Ajmal. Try it before you buy but boy is it sexy !

This is unreal. Opening is the best lasting 24h, on my t-shirt 7 days+. In very suprised about reaction.

I think this is unisex and really pleasant. Long lasting, huge sillage. Only for cold weather.

It took me several times wearing and thoughtfully inhaling this before I could say something more meaningful than “hold on, wait, what?” Which I think is actually a compliment. The easiest part to tell is a sandalwoody, musky and a little warm spicy final dry down. But this one comes out in 8 to 10 hours at least. And before that? Man. Well the start is kind of harsh bergamot, bitter coffee mix. And when it settles a little in about an hour and you prepare for something subtler lots and lots of moss comes out. I can not mistake the smell of moss for anything as I have a northern hemisphere garden that I take care of - and this is it. Mossy to the point of moldy. And then there’s a bit of orange blossom, and bergamot and a hint of coffee are still present in the base. This unconventional mixture lasts for a few hours getting warmer and spicier bit by bit until it comes to a more polite and familiar dry down as described above. This scent is magnetic and repulsive at the same time. I practically feel Patrick Bateman from American Psycho smelling like this. So to me “80’s on steroids” below is a very good metaphor to describe it. The more I wear it, the more it grows on me, I’m definitely holding on to it because it’s different and I like different. Husband’s (knows-nothing-about-perfume, favours Terre & Vetiver Tonka by Hermes) verdict: I totally don’t get it but somehow I like it.

I really like this and want a full size bottle, but everyone in my family is saying “no”. I’m female and find this interestingly spicy and powdery. It’s not dark or even heavy, it’s spicy, exotically intriguing and up-lifting. There’s no obvious oud or coffee here, the listed notes are all just carefully blended to become powdery spices. Longevity is fantastic, I clearly like this - so if I see a full size bottle going cheap, it’s mine and my family can shut-up.

Well this is different! There's a note in there that I've been trying to identify, something about it reminds me of Tiziana Terenzi Vele - which has this coniferous accord, like a tropical pine or fir. I think that's it, there is some form of pine note in here. It's tropical and green. Might just be my mind playing tricks but I even smell mangoes. Very unique! Edit: Sprayed vele on other hand. Still feeling that comparison! Crazy :)

Kokusunu çok beğendim. Notalarında anason olmasa da ben anason kokusu aldım bu parfümden. Kalıcılığı ve yayılım muazzam. Onu saf odunsu bir parfüm olarak tanımlayabilirim. Asla kahve, narenciye ve portakal çiçeği yok. Baştan sona hatta sonsuza kadar odunsu ve sıcak baharatlı.

An enjoyable scent but nothing earth-shattering. Your typical warm spicy, sandalwood, creamy/sweet scent. Very long lasting. I don't smell the citrus or coffee notes.

Do I have a wrong perfume ? ok, I bought it cheap and it smells cheap. For me not worth any money. This perfume has lack of character. Creamy woods, nothing else.

This smells great on a real manly man. Absolutely NOT unisex. I cannot pull this bad boy off and I'm not too much of a girly girl.

I got Qafiya 1 Tester which is Day Version & Qafiya 2 which is Night Version, when i Brought other Dahn Al Oudh Products. This perfume was made by Emirati team of Ajmal keeping Arabic Culture in Mind. It opens Citrus Spicy with the Top Notes are Bergamot and Coffee Middle Notes or Heart Notes are Orange Blossom and Spices Base Notes are Sandalwood and Musk. All Notes are Well Mixed, Ajmal is V Good in Mixing even the Complex Notes. Notes are Louder than Qafiya 1 as its Evening Wear. Unisex Perfumes Suitable for Both Men & Women. Longevity is Average and lesser than Qafiya 1 & Projection is V Good. Can be worn whole year but in Evenings or Night or in Cold Winter Days. Packing & Bottle Presentation is Good. My Rating is 3.5 out of 5.

I don't like this perfume but this is the one which gets me the most compliments. Sometimes too much compliments.... I'm really surprised about the reactions. I can smell Paprika and black pepper in it with a hint of sandalwood. Extremely big sillage.

Very similiar version of Parfums de Marly Pegasus, Q2 is a little bit stronger but PDM is smoother... This little difference creates the Day and Night... PDM Pegasus for Day / Night(May be) but Qafiya 2 is for Night absolutely.
