Senora

I bought this on a perfume site I like without realizing how good this is! I just purchased it based on the notes. My gosh does this smell amazing! It’s a beautiful oriental one of the best I’ve smelled in a long time. This is a lovely women’s fragrance that smells unique not like typical scents.This house knows how to make good juice! I wish this came in a bigger bottle. It’s gorgeous and this perfume smells divine. It’s a great evening perfume and I enjoy it in cool weather atm but I think this would work in Spring too. The amber is so well done with the benzoin and labdanum, plus the rose and usually I’m not a fan of patchouli though I keep getting proved wrong this almost at first reminds me of Lancomes Magie Noir. Don’t ask me why I know they are nothing alike but there similar. If you’ve owned both I think you’d understand but this is an amazing scent. The drydown is incredible I can’t stop sniffing my wrist! Plus this lasts and lasts with moderate to heavy sillage on me plus the bottle is beautiful! If you like amber balsamic scents you really can’t go wrong with this. I for one am buying a backup. :)

Hmmm...musky-resinous-powdery is quite a good description. It is also quite sweet but is balanced by the musk and powder. There is also a distinctive "flower" note...similar to "Tease" by Paris Hilton and "Sexy ME#2" by Jeanne Arthes...is it tuberose or violet? I really don't know what tuberose smells like but "Tease", "SEXY ME#2" and "Senora" both have a similar flower smell and violet is listed first in Tease and Sexy Me#2. Are violets and tuberose similar?. It is a strong projecting note. This fragrance seems to be growing on me and I might actually love it. It generally takes me awhile to get to know a fragrance. Also i think that when you experience a lot of fragrances that are really different from one another you develop new tastes. The key word is develop. Just as when i was a kid i hated olives but as my taste buds experienced more flavors i started to love them....maybe acquired taste. It projects well and lasts about 3 hours with 2 sprays.

How have I not heard of this? Ajmal Senora is a hidden gem. I came across it while looking through Ajmal perfumes on Amazon. Took a chance and bought it blindly because it was such good value. Boy was I rewarded! Senora is a gorgeous, sensuous, rose perfume. The violet leaves are perceptible and there is some sort of spice (like pepper or incense?) that makes this rose interesting. I have never smelled Midnight Poison so I cannot compare but, this perfume is gorgeous and deep. I do not smell any oud. The heart feels more vanilla based. The longevity and projection are respectable. Great purchase. Also purchased the other one in this series called D'Light. Not in this database. It is also a complex and a great performer. Very big floral in the early 2000s fashion. D'Light was still very strong on my clothing a week later. D'Light reminds me of Tresor. That's a beast.

This is beautiful. It’s a lighter take on Aromatics Elixer in White. Also similar to Bvlgari’s Splendida Patchouli. It’s lovely, and suitable to wear anywhere in any season. Very affordable. As this perfume has macerated there’s a more noticeable musk base, reminiscent of those musk stick candies. It a gorgeous light & airy patchouli. I highly recommend it! Suits any occasion. Signature worthy. NB: There is another Ajmal in the same bottle but it is yellow, called D’Light. It is also very nice, with beast mode performance. It’s more of a fresh floral spring scent. Be careful not to over spray D’Light!

Oh yes absolutely another dream perfume by Ajmal. I have only recently discovered them, and am buying up!! I love them. I buy everything blind, because there's no shop I can get to from where I live, so I figure... they're so affordable, take the risk! And I have NOT once been disappointed. Absolutely the opposite in every case. I adore them all. They're fantastic. Such superb quality. And this one is too. I's just as the reviewer below, syedsiddiq, says: he has given a perfect description. I LOVE it. And adore the bottle too!! What a glorious colour, and shape!

Another beautiful Arab magic! It definitely has Midnight Poison DNA, but it has its own charm. The perfume is very velvety and sensual, with nice projection and lasts long on the skin. All the ingredients from the pyramid are there and they nicely blended. I do not feel it ozonic or aquatic, yet it is not heavy or overwhelming. I found Senora dirty cheap and I am sure that it will be one of my regular choices for the fall and winter.

I seem to be very fickle with my love of certain fragrances. I wasn't sure about this in the beginning but love it now. It is a rosy violet that gently floats about you and is long lasting.There is a delicious mingling of musky vanilla and pepper with the flowers....swoon. Romantic and sexy! I want to kiss my hand...lol!

My first Ajmal and I can say that this is a really great quality perfume. Sweet, but not sticky or heavy sweet, will be nice for both cold and hot weather situations. The rose here is gentle and soft. Dry down reminds me of Shalimar Souffle somehow... have no idea where it comes from. The bottle is pretty.

I bought a bottle of this two months ago and I’ve been totally bewitched by it. The scent is so beautiful, at the rate I’m spraying myself silly I must get another bottle as a standby.

This is quality juice at a very reasonable price. It projects moderately and has good longevity. It pleases the senses. This a love.

These days i am testing a lot of Ajmal Perfumes and brought many Perfumes through their stores, This perfume i first got as Tester along with Other Perfumes I Brought. This Perfume resemble Poison to some extent not fully though which i liked & showed it to my wife. She too liked it V Much & then finally brought it for her. Starts with Nice Sweet Smell with of Notes with Floral mixed Spices slowly turns towards Floral Woody finally in the end Musky & Ambery Notes comes to play. Senora smells like High Quality Fragrance. Vanilla, Labdanum and Rose are Leading Notes in this Perfume. Patchouli is Little Noticeable and Amber and Benzoin comes out after dry down. Quality, Presentation, Bottle Shape is Good & Worth its Humble Price. Projection is Decent & Longevity is about 6+ Hours. This perfume is good Winter & Spring Season. My Rating is 4 out of 5

This is not my first Ajmal. I love their fragrances and I sometimes do not want to share Ajmal 'secrets' with anyone because a lot of their fragrances are beautiful, unique and they reflect me and my personality. This is my fourth Ajmal perfume, and this is a divine rose perfect for spring and summer. This could honestly compete with Guerlain and Jo Malone spring summer roses....and I love my Jo malone's and Guerlain too. This is complex perfume and it evolves from sweet opening to deep woodsy dry down but the ROSE is always detectable. This is a great quality perfume. If you want to be introduced to Ajmal this would be a great introduction or starter perfume. This is one of their light perfume and they go very deep exotic orientals which are also great.

A flamboyant spicy rose. I don't get much of the sweetness that others are smelling--it's very herbal and resinous at first, and dries to a smooth ambery rose. Definitely some vanilla, but it's quite dry, to my nose. It seemed a bit much at first, like too much for just running around doing errands. But honestly it fades so fast and sits so close to the skin that it doesn't feel like too much of a commitment when I wear it. It's like the perfume equivalent of "Fancy Fridays" back when we were in covid lockdown--something fun and colourful that you do for yourself just because you can. Definitely a mood boost.

A successful blind buy. I know (sigh), but there is no place to try arabian parfumes where I live. This is a floral-oriental done right. Smooth, well blended and warm, very feminine with just the right amount of spice that makes it interesting. I think it could be used all year around as it is not too sweet or heavy, but we will see. The longevity is about 5 hours on me and the sillage is moderate. I can't help myself, I sniff my wrist every now and then I like it so much. Definately recommend and will repurchase. It smells a hundred times more expensive than what I paid for it.

The scent is beautiful, a rosy floral deepened with amber and resins, a little musk. Sweet and just a light spice from the pepper. I really like it, I just wish it lasted longer and projected better. I have to put my nose to my skin to pick it up. I tried spraying a couple of times, quite liberally the second time but no difference. It's a bit cool out today so I will try again in warmer weather and see if heat brings it out of it's shell.

I am a little dissapointed. I thought it would be stronger, with bigger sillage, more detectable pepper. Dior Midnight Rose is way stronger and spicier. IT is nice but not more. I would not say IT is arabian, so mild and kind. Light fume of bulgarian kind of rose oil. Safe blind buy. Edit: after a while it becomes spicier, but ín a cold, powdery Way. Nice, sophisticated. Mature but playful. Solemn but chic. Classy and longlasting.

I love every note in here. Starts spicy, continues sweet and smooth, musky, ambery, oriental goodness. Again, not a bomb, nor a great laster, but oh so nice. And what a price :) Ajmal, I'm impressed! Edit: I was wrong about lasting power it really lasts especially the labdanum / benzoin.

"Meh" is pretty much how I feel about this. Had the potential to be so good, the pepper straight out the gate is so appealing to me, but it immediately - and I mean, within seconds - becomes a skin scent. Nice just before bed. I personally haven't had tons of luck in the longevity department with Ajmal perfumes in general.

I’m a senora (well a señorita) so I should like this. It’s a very close skin scent of shrill ultra feminine sweetness. On to the next one...

This is a sharp, in your face bug spray like fragrance. Not my style at all. Bottle also looks tacky to me. No.

A very happy internet purchase . Señora reminds me a little bit of a favourite of mine Nina Ricci, Ricci Ricci. Instead of the heavy Rhubarb note in that one, in Señora we have Violet leaf and it blends beautifully with the divine rose. Nothing cheap about this but the price. The patchouli is perfect, not overdone (no skanky hippy overtones). As señora develops the musk and orange blossom come out to play. Honestly, I bought this from Perfumes Dubai Australia website for the notes and the description that mentioned how well blended and beautiful it is, they didn't lie, It's so much better than I expected. Definitely has the Midnight Poison DNA. Often Violet/Violet leaf disappear as many people are anosmic to it. The violet leaf hangs in there with this one, it's totally feminine, flamboyant and classy at the same time. Will definitely order a backup. This fragrance is tempting me to try more Ajmal fragrances. They haven't skimped, this is beautiful quality perfume and cheap as. What's not to like?

This one is interesting because it opens so airy and ozonic but soon envelops into a rich floriental. Nice option for diverse settings, it’s deep and romantic, yet playful enough for my bartending shifts. I was on the hunt the last 6 months to find the ultimate fragrance for work and probably found it.

It's not MJ Lola. But if you miss that scent like I do, this has a similar opening. I'm really enjoying this fragrance. My first Ajmal fragrance, but certainly won't be my last.

Beautiful, Spicey Rose oriental. Very nice, for the price. Not terribly long lasting, so would carry a decant. Beautiful bottle.

Bit on the Oud. Its okay. Nothing much to write home about. Quite heavy on the nose

This would've been a better flanker to "Poison" than "Poison Girl".

Looking forward in trying this...it sounds lovely!
