Zeal

My second Ajmal and their quality is confirmed. My first was Silver Shade and it is super addictive and neither that nor Zeal come off as harsh, synthetic, nor heavy aerosol nor alcoholic. Compare that to the western designer offerings at discounters in the same range and you'd probably come close with dunhill, mont blanc or ferragamo quality. Compared to these, ajmal has performed as well while being gentler on my allergies. Zeal opens, remains and dries to a smooth citrus and woody scent. Orange to replace pepper is smart when thinking about this Dior Sauvage edt inspired profile. It smoothens things out but... I believe Prada LR Carbon to be the superior scent and worth the extra money though this is a great deal at one third of the price. I love this scent despite it being linear. While I will go on to purchase Carbon eventually, this is a good stand-in. The vetiver does come out a bit more at the 2 hour mark and it makes this less tiresome to my senses than the pepper in my sauvage edt. Thank you Ajmal

Hello, I am using this perfume since last 1.5 years along with Dior Sauvage, and Zeal is 90 % similar to DS; only main thing noticeable factor between these two is softness, when DS is very soft/crisp from initial stage when Zeal is bit harsh. Now another thing is in last 18 months this is my 3rd bottle of zeal and the current latest one is seems to be reformulated by Ajmal as longevity has some issue comparing to earlier ones. Still this is still good going clone of DS. Happy smelling!!!

OK let me be clear, if you have to judge Zeal in comparison to Sauvage then you must compare prices too. Sauvage is surely better option but is 10 times more expensive. How the heck you expect to be the same? OGs are OGs and clones are clones. It's up to you to choose always looking to your wallet. Zeal costs 12€ and for this price is a fantastic summer fragrance in Sauvage's family not exactly the same but in the same family. It's more fresh and and more piney. Performance is quite good.

Greetings from India..i like it.. Not smelled origin dior sauvage.. It is fresh.. Woody.. Bit spicy.. Lovely fragrance.. Stays good on me.. Leaves good trail.. Moderate sillage and non offending.. Mostly like by everyone.. A very good all round fragrances.. Give 8/10.. Overall. Price is around 1000/- INR.. 👍

Yes, this is a Sauvage clone, no doubt about it. And it doesn't last as long or project as far as the Dior. But I actually prefer it to Sauvage and here's why. First of all, this is missing that infamous ambroxan and black pepper combination that can make Sauvage smell overly synthetic and gross if overapplied. I've also had problems going nose blind to it and other similar fragrances (Armaf, I'm looking at you!) in the past. No such issue here. Zeal interprets the Sauvage DNA with different notes - the pine in particular. I wouldn't call this a woodsy fragrance, but there's something about it that just seems more natural to me. It's not harsh or synthetic or whatever derogatory term. Much how Prada Luna Rossa Carbon is a more "refined" Sauvage, Zeal is a toned-down, fresher, more natural-smelling one. All in all, I'm very happy I bought it. It's like I can wear Sauvage without "having to wear Sauvage." Does that make sense? lol, but I would recommend this way before Armaf Ventana or Pride of Armaf if you're in the market for a cheaper clone. Good stuff! P.S. the bottle looks amazing. Beautiful glass design. Very solid for something that cost around $25.

This is a very good clone of Sauvage EDT. Of course it cannot be as smooth and refined as Sauvage but as a cheapie, worth USD 22 its a steal and does the job. The frag is a freshie throughout from the initial blast of citrus and is very pine heavy. You find very few citrus scents which last this long (7 hours), but this also comes down to the Vetiver and patchouli. Impressive projection and good longevity, a must have for summer as well. Edit: Interestingly, the going was good for office wear, i had a chance to wear it in very humid weather outside (i'm talking about 85% humidity) and it did not match the precedent set. The whole scent disappeared amidst all the heavy sweating within 5 hours!

Great fresh opening. Mass appealing. Haven't tried Sauvage. Tried this vs Kuro at the Ajmal store, both are 95% similar - just that Kuro is more powdery in the dry down and lasts longer. But Kuro was twice the price so went for Zeal. Projects well for about 1.5 to max 2 hrs. Leaves a trail for the next 2 hrs. Lasts for a maximum 4 hours after which it becomes a skin scent for an hour and fades away completely in 5 hrs. Note - This is for mix of outdoors and AC rooms in Indian weather. Overall - For INR 1100 very good Value.

I bought this so long ago, just gave it a try again. Yes, for sure in the original (modern) Sauvage wheelhouse, but different enough to be a nice casual wearing alternative. The hint of pine combined with the citrus is really quite nice, and the woody notes work really well here, mostly a citrus forward vibe, but in the synthetic shower gel variety. Basic, but really pleasant, and not as in your face as it’s possible inspiration. If you like that DNA this is easily worth the purchase

Masculine, spicy, aromatic and gentlemanish. Opening a bit harsh and bit uncomfortable after sprayed (as generous sprayer, im also feeling it, but nevertheless i still keep overspraying). Its easy to grab for cheapie. Good spray but there is a leaked i can detect from the surface. Projection and longevity very good, as the longer you keep the perfume within the box in dark place, the better maceration process will occurs.

It has a similar vibe to the Sauvage scent profile, but it isn't an exact clone. The opening is harsh. Once it settles down, the burst of fresh aromatic citruses is invigorating. The dry-down, where the sweet balsamic pine comes in, is surprisingly the most enjoyable part of the fragrance. It has a decent sillage for the first two hours. It is safe to blind buy and affordable to reapply or overspray.

If anyone is looking for Sauvage alternative in a $20 range go for Ajmal Zeal. This is coming from a Sauvage fan boy who own original and each and every clone of it. This is better than its price point competitors like Armaf pride, ventana and other paris corner clones and all. Just like original super versatile all year scent. Performance is also decent.

Its like 80% similar to sauvage Dior sauvage + pine ... its more like a fresher version of sauvage scent 7/10 performence 7/10 ... i get 5 - 6 hours nice quality for cheap price

It might just be my bottle butthis is disgusting, at first it has a bit of a resemblance to sauvage but in no time turns into disgusting smell. MY bottle leaks and was purchased on amazon, so I think it might just be my bottle.

Arabian horror. Pine slasher. The first fragrance that irritated my nose and gave me headaches (seriously - every time I wore it on global, I had a headache after a few hours, confirmed by wearing the fragrance for a dozen days). The opening is very harsh, probably because of the orange note. Unfortunately, the bitterness is very long-lasting. The pine trail doesn't help - I'd say it makes the bitterness even stronger. On the other hand - the drydown is very pleasant - I can smell a lavender note and some sweetness. All in all - it's very similar to Dior Sauvage, even in the air. It's fresher (because of the pine, which imitates ambroxan), but the quality of the ingredients is terrible! It sometimes gives the impression of burnt plastic! The only advantage is the parameters - the sillage is impressive (3 hours of projection!) and you can smell it on your skin for 8-12 hours. I cannot recommend this fragrance. Dior Sauvage is so common that you can easily find a better clone of it.

A cleaner Sauvage clone, as it lacks the pepper kick, but makes it up with an amped up lavender and pine combo in the midnotes. Missing that Ambroxan saltiness as well that Sauvage has in its drydown but it has that "ambroxan-esque" start. Dries down to a patchouli skin scent at around the 6th hour. Thus, it is more "green/powdery" than "blue" towards the end. Longevity is approximately 6/7 hours in moderate temperatures and about 4 hours in sweltering humidity. (3 sprays, neck, chest and one on the shirt) Projection is amazing for the first 2-3 hours, I've had people gave me the stare because I oversprayed (5 sprays), 3 is a comfortable medium. Worth it if you can get it under $30.

Smell in nice if you like aromatic woody perfumes. Not very strong, But yes it is a decent fragrance. Never tried Sauvage, Since I am kinda new in my perfume journey, But yes, It is a very good fragrance. Projection: 6.5/10 (At Arm length for almost 1.5-2 Hours) Smell: 8/10 Longevity: 7/10 (6-8 Hours in AC, with sprays on body and clothes both) Value For Money: 9/10 Overall Very good experience.

Got a free sample of this with my order. I'm sorry, but this smells like curry, like the spice blend. A very realistic cumin with something floral, which wouldn't necessarily be bad if it weren't so screechy and poorly blended. It just smells cheap, because it is.

I've got dior and zeal. Both are good. Zeal is a little :rough around the edges" but its also very cheap. I got it for around 22 bucks online a year ago, so well worth it.

It smells 95% like sauvage. The only issue is the longetivity & projection. Max half hour projection with 2-3 hours of scent life.
