Big Sur

Do you like the smell of Sai Baba Nag Champa incense? Do you want to smell like it (but not exactly) for about 4-6 hours? Big Sur is your answer. Champa and champaca have always reminded me of each other. Supposedly champaca flowers were used to make nag champa incense. I read online that there is a resin in nag champa incense called halmaddi that smells a lot like champaca flowers. It reminds me of the scent of a record store, or of one of those headshops in a little historical town. I love it. It's balsamic and tea-like. Something else in it smells sweet and toasted. My aunt was a hippie and she always wanted to go to Big Sur. There's something sunny and lovely about it. It's an earthy smile.

297 It smells nothing like incense. This smells like gently sweet spiced(almost like cinnamon) herbal grasses blowing in the wind on a warm September day, warmed by the sun, during coastal Indian summers. This wild grasses aroma is fleeting in real life and seasonal, but familiar. There is an unfamiliar floral, lightly sweet fruity green plant aroma(champaca?) which I’m not familiar with. Also, a slight powdery medicinal ambery note(sandalwood, patchouli?), that blends with the rest. This is best on warm skin, which brings out its best qualities. 7/10-Very unique and unusual
