I read a few glowing reviews of this fragrance online and was so excited to try it given the listed notes.... I don't know if my bottle simply was stored in poor conditions before I received it or if the scent just isn't for me, but it smells like stale sweet tarts, expired flowers and musky Avon perfume from the 80s. It's tangy, sweet and floral and suffocatingly synthetic. On the bright side, the bottle *is* gorgeous and projection is also great, but only if you like the smell. ;)

The astringent opening is similar to the original Listerine antiseptic mouthwash. Then it quickly blooms into a pleasant yet non-descript fruity-floral-amber. This is not one to test on paper right under the nose - fan your test strip (trust me). On my skin, it's sweet and musky. It's not a showstopper but it's a comfy scent.
