Please do not sleep on Al Absar perfumes. Not all of them are on Fragrantica the ones that have been released the last few months and are available from gift express on TikTok Shop. I recently bought Al Absar treat collection bundles one and two. Also bought Melted Spell and Melted Desire. If you love banana do not hesitate, get Ifrah. I have waited a long time for banana to be a popular perfume note. Now we have gourmand banana perfumes and tropical banana perfumes. I am writing this in cold winter weather, and this perfume is very uplifting. If you need an escape wear this perfume. I am so glad I came across this brand and this perfume. The banana in this perfume doesn't come off as " too artificial " like in some perfumes. I will have to compare this to Maui in a Bottle as I have a travel size of it but never wore it. I hope Al Absar gets the recognition they deserve in 2026. I can't wait to see what else this brand releases.

Ifrah has been such strong performer for me right out of the box. Velvety smooth Vanilla Banana cream. Jasmines definitely present but not obtrusive whatsoever, just superbly grounding the sweetness. ‘Maui in a Bottle’ has this odd diaper type smell I cannot get over, and this is fully void of it thankfully! I really dislike the fast food chain Checker/Rally’s, but reluctantly adore their Banana shake. Unfortunately no one really seems to make one besides them so sometimes we just have to stoop to that level! Anyways, To my nose this really reminds me of a Checkers/Rally’s Banana milkshake; lightly malted perfectly synthetic Banana in a creamy Vanilla base. This and Dossier Yellow Daze have been my Banana Bombshells 🥰

These are the wrong notes. The notes are on the box. It does smell like Maui in a bottle. According to the box, the notes are, apple, vanilla, mashmallow, caramel, banana. Having said that, its a love. I wish the opening lasted more than 30 minutes, but the dry down is nice as well. I've been wearing this all week here in 35 degree weather and it's a perfect warm weather gourmand. It's considered tropical, but this wouldn't be out of place in cold weather either. I look forward to wearing it on its own and playing with some layering.

I am honestly mad that I bought the 50 ml Maui in a Bottle because this is better, lasts longer and is almost 10 times cheaper. This is a creamier, sweeter, more full bodied Maui in a Bottle. The banana lasts throughout the whole wear and is even more tropical. It takes away that jasmine that some people couldn't get over. I love the OG but this is even better for a fraction of the price. I get an easy 8 hours out of it. A 10/10 couldn't recommend more.

The strong yet not entirely synthetic banana opening is absolutely gorgeous, but it does disappear super quickly unfortunately. It lasts ok but the opening has me hooked and I overspray multiple times a day because I absolutely adore it! My partners’ perfume loving also autistic brother said I smelt really good when I first put it on so it’s definitely a win
