The notes on here are missing Rosemary as listed on the Al Ambra official site. This then brings an interesting situation to the foreground. There is some link to Caelum by Ainash Parfums. Both are fruity twists on the Imagination DNA but there is more to this. The official note breakdowns for Ravenna by Al Ambra and Caelum by Ainash Parfums are almost identical. All 12 of Ravenna’s listed notes appear in Caelum. And that may not seem like a big deal. And Caelum does list on their site 2 additional notes being citron and a separate generic reference to neroli, even though Tunisian neroli is already listed on both fragrances. However the big clue that something is deeper is this goes beyond the note pyramid. Both official websites use effectively the same scent description, following the same progression from citrus and fruit through spice and neroli into black tea, woods and ambroxan. That level of overlap strongly suggests one of two things: either Al Ambra is manufacturing or white labelling Caelum for Ainash Parfums, or both brands have purchased the same fragrance oil or ready-made formula from the same supplier and used the accompanying supplier description. There is no public document confirming which arrangement applies, but the match is too specific to look accidental. Twelve out of twelve notes matched. Same structure. Same description. Coincidence? Not.

First time saying this but you don't need the original, this is gorgeous. Best blind buy in months

Opening is overwhelmed with citrus but the dry down is really nice. Feels like a fizzy bal d’afrique

Call it a dupe or whatever you want but the reality is they have taken a well known DNA (Imagination) and changed it slightly, and actually changed it for the better in my opinion. The opening is like a mix of imagination's citrusy soapiness, and Anelo's tropical & clean fruitiness. The dry down is closer to imagination but with the sharp soapiness toned way down. This also lasts a decent amount of time considering the price and for the style of fragrance that it is. I wore it to work and it lasted the whole day on clothes - maybe 6-7 hours on skin before I had to really sniff my arm to notice it. Again, in my opinion this is decent, considering there are well known niche brands who charge £200-£300 for citrusy fragrances that last about 2 hours max.... Creed ***cough** Roja..... I can see this getting a lot of hype and rightly so.

First impressions? Think LV imagination with a lot more citrus. Definitely not a dupe, more of an inspired version with a tropical twist. I’ve never smelt angels share on the rocks, anelo, herbes troublantes or bal d’afrique which it’s also compared to. All I can say is that this is a banger for summer. Very high quality fragrance. Time will tell. But yeah, glad to have this in my collection. Smells fantastic! Yeah, now I get the angels share comparison. I only have the original angels share and Ravenna is definitely like imagination mixed with the angels share DNA and it just works.
