Amazing Mukhallath

I know this line of Haramain dont get that much mention and praise from aficionado but its right up there in the upper echelon of perfumery. Its very very different from the designer and niche stuff you come across every now and then. The oriss note is beautifully complemented by Amber and Vetiver. Longevity is amazing like its name. The scent stays at least several days on my clothes (I smelled even after 4 days). Sillage is moderate in my opinion (I'm perfectly ok with it as long as I smell gorgeous) but the scent trail it leaves is captivating. Don't see why this can't be a perfectly unisex. Can't be wrong with blind buy. Ohh wait forgot to tell it was one of the finest packaging I've so far.

Jednoznačne za mňa vôňa top 3. Mám aj staršiu flašu rok výroby okolo 2016 , ktorá je neskutočna . Táto novšia má tmavšiu farbu a určite je mastnejšia a samozrejme iná vôňa. Nutná je tu dlhá macerácia, inak budete sklamaný, zatiaľ tóny sú zmiešané a aj silage je slabá. Toto určite nie je dupe ani klon ničoho čo poznám. Je to v lige Amouage! a možno aj viac. V novej flaši vôbec nevystupuje tá krásna borievka, možno časom, ak sa to udeje bude to moja podpisová vôňa.

This smells like a subtly spicy, woodsier less tart Junoon Noir with no vanilla and leans more unisex. They are very similar. This does dry down to juniper, but it is definitely closer to the skin than the shared notes which project more. The drydown of Amazing Mukhallath is almost a bit cola like also which is nice and different than Junoon Noir. I think they are about 60%-75% similar. There are differences, but it's very close for the first hour or so, and maybe less distinguishable for others in a smell test, aside from maybe the vanilla and lime tart notes of Junoon Noir which are apparent in the sillage. Now for Amazing Mukhallath itself, this is a very nice and unisex scent. It stands well on its own and while slightly sweet from the jasmine, it's not overly so. It also projects quite well, at least arms length and leaves a nice scent bubble and trail around you. It's quite lasting also. I typically spray behind my neck, stomach, and back, and I can smell it still after about 6 hours when turning my head, and when walking around it wafts up pleasantly. I think if you already own Junoon Noir (or perhaps Dama Bianca as well which Junoon Noir is a dupe of) and you don't like the idea of owning something in a similar vein with only few differences, then this may be a pass, but if you own neither, or you like similar scents, especially with these notes, I'd definitely recommend! Al Haramain did very well with their prestige line, it's a shame the round bottles with crystal lids aren't on Fragrantica yet. Several lovely scents among those as well.

Miller et Bertaux Spiritus Land, or at least a very near dupe. This beauty was sent to me from Dubai as it is still rare and more expensive in UK. Amazing Mukhallath shares some of the notes with the aforementioned niche juice and both possess the same spicy, fresh, smoky and resinous beauty. Here all the notes are expertly blended. Smoke and spice are very pronounced but far from acting solo. They are infused through a cloud of aromatic juniper and orris with a delicious cardamom adding a piquant and persistent aura. Vetiver and amber are a superb match, far from cloying and utterly sultry. Balsamic and very addictive. It is unisex but I would love to smell it on a man.... Al Haramain pulled a real winner here, as usual. Huge sillage and longevity. This is ideal for Summer or any other season. A new love in my wardrobe.
