Amber Musk

I have a few “clones” of Ombré Nomade ( Ombre De Louis Zarah Prive by Paris Corner is also very good) and None of them will emulate the nuances of the fragrance from opening to drydown. If you are looking for the same “DNA”, then “Amber Musk” is a phenomenal fragrance! Between the two clones “Amber Musk” has more regal vibe, while being quite deceiving in the opening with its fresh Raspberry fruitiness and becoming darker as it transitions. (Progression is much closer to Original Ombre Nomade, while constantly changing through life of fragrance) The Paris corner clone begins with a slight Raspberry fruity opening while transitioning more rapidly into Oud/Rose combo with smoky nuances. (More linear in nature, through life of fragrance). To be honest it is not redundant to own both clones, and you could layer them for a more accurate representation. As far as performance goes, they are both beast mode, and Amber Musk would even lean towards the Nuclear Category. **Update:** Ombre De Louis Zarah Prive by Paris Corner is closer to the overall smell of Ombré Nomade (Smoky, Strong Oud), while lacking the intensity, longevity and remaining quite linear in nature from the original. Amber Musk by Al Haramain certainly has the intensity, Strong Raspberry and Musk in the top notes, 3-4 hours before it reaches the Amber and Oud Mid notes, then transitions into the base notes for another 8-10 hours. Phenomenal performance; 4 hours strong projection, 5-6 hours strong sillage...12+ hours longevity on skin!, with progressive changes throughout the life of the fragrance, but slightly less smokiness and Oud dominance (Oud prominence becomes quite apparent after 4 hrs of application) from the original. Since, Amber Musk is more nuanced, regal, and quite the compliment getter, despite being an Oud fragrance. It is definitely more wearable if you go easy on the trigger. Layering Ombre De Louis and Amber Musk will bring you very close to Ombré Nomade. (Layer on separate parts of body for a more mysterious effect; Amber Musk behind ears or nape of neck Ombré De Louis wrist and side of neck)

First impressions with 2 days of wearing this: For all those who say "this is inspired of [this] or [that]", I will say NO - this is its own thing.. If you would say "Ombre Nomade is inspired by Mancera Black to Black", then sure - I get you.. But this is a rose-oud combo that is dark, leathery and with an airy, slightly sweet twist that makes it great even on summer nights. This starts off on me with a fruity, jammy and airy rose, but with a dark edge to it (I get what they are trying to put across with the note breakdown containing raspberry, oud and rose).. As it dries down, something that I can trace to fougeres comes out - a smell like geranium-oakmoss that gives the scent a minty and faint bitter smell. The sweet, dark and jammy rose maintains throughout the scent and as it dries down further more and more resins come into play.. There is a modern dark-woody feel to it like in Oud for Greatness, but it is not the main player (those I think are the amberwoods that they are trying to sell us on).. It is balanced very well and very pleasant.. If you like fragrances like Ombre Nomade, Black to Black, Santal Royal, but you want an airiness and an airy-minty-aromatic feel to them, this could be you gem.. I paid less than 30$ for this on a clearance , but anything under 50$ I think is a great deal for something like this. + the packaging looks great! I will get back with more details as I feel I did not get a good grip on how it performs, but it lasts on me till I wash it off with moderate to very good projection. Cheers!

So, this is the way this juice smells to my nose: Immediately after the first spray, I get a dark liquor like a whiskey...and several cups of it btw. But it plays nice once the drydown starts. The oud starts to mellow out, which is great because my nose can be contentious to oud. The amber pops out from the top to the base and I don't know if it also sweetens up or if it's the rose making an entrance. In the drydown, I start to detect that benzoin coming through to make this smoother. If you're a fan of oud and amber, this is one to consider because they're present from beginning to end. This has incredible punch and staying power. Just a couple of sprays, people across the room can easily smell you. I got more than 8 hours of longevity and it could have stayed longer than that.

This fragrance smells like royalty. It smells regal and makes me feel rich. It's a smooth and warm scent that smells better when it's not over sprayed. I've gotten a lot of compliments when wearing this. The oud in this perfume is well done. It's very strong so you don't need to spray too much. This is different to any other perfume I have smelled. I love this one by Al Haramain. This is a high quality perfume. This might be my favorite Al Haramain perfume and I love a lot of their perfumes.

Enough people have described this scent. I just know I love it. It's sweet and airy, yet has that oud and musk that just carry in on and out and give it a darker base. It's so unique - I've smelled nothing else like it. It's one that constantly look to catch another whiff if when I wear it. This is one of the fragrances I wear that I can spray under my clothing and it does the job. One or two sprays max.

I once got a 2ml decant of this for free. Sadly I accidentally broke it after I used up almost half of it. The only word I can think of when trying to describe this parfume is: addicting. I love it. It's so comforting and tantalizing. Warm, sweet, musky and rich. Great projection and longevity. I REALLY need to buy a bottle of this for winter.

I've blind bought this on a whim based only on few YouTube reviews. On me it's quite leathery, more than I've expected. I'm sure that current weather (sunny, temp reaching 20s) is not the most suitable for this scent. Anyway, the raspberry is there in the opening, but sadly vanishes quickly. Slightly medicinal oud, nothing animalic, but spicy rose is just a whisper. So it's mainly leather and oud and it does smell very pleasant. Smooth, not screechy at all, quite formal and elegant autumn/winter scent. Just overly very masculine, at least to me. In drydown it's more ambery sweet, safron appears but not the rose and it's bit less leathery. Also there is some fresh cologne-y note present. Maybe geranium? Overal verdict: very pleasant but not groundbreaking. Also it is not projecting very much, arms length at best. For formal occasion it is sufficient I guess. To be honest for the price it is not a bad fragrance. In the price range below 50 euro ( I paid 43) you will rarely find oud ambery leather that smells smooth and natural. I might let it sit in a bottle for a while and test in colder weather. Based on further testing I will either keep it or gift this to an older male family member because it is really too nice to return, even if it's not insta love. If I'll ever wear it, it would be a formal evening work event as I work in a men dominated industry. But then again I would rather wear TF TV clone.

Incredibly powerful stuff, this. At first I was using it all wrong and thought I really didn't like it. Finally figured out that if applied heavily, it can smell cheap and simplistic. And overwhelming. To do it justice, go very lightly with the sprayer. Used right, it smells rich and sophisticated, even regal as someone has commented. 8-10 hours longevity (for me) before it's a skin scent. And it stays interesting. The beautiful amber afterglow lasts 24 hours and beyond.

Its been a week im using this scent now. I get Narciso Rodriguez’s DNA for the first 2 hours. Its an ambery scent with a good longevity about 4-5 hours. Not a beast mode scent like the 4 other Amber Oud editions. I sprayed almost 10x in order for the scent to last 5 hours++

Smells very much like ombré nomad. Love the smell. Great price. Smells expensive.

IMO, smells mix between Oud Bouquet and 50 Years Golden Oudh Al Haramain 😁.

The musk smells like an air freshener to me. Not that pleasant at all. It drys down to a very subtle ambery musk but then it’s gone. I couldn’t smell it after half an hour. Same with their Royal Musk. I tried on from a sample. I’m starting to wonder if they watered it down? Others saying it lasts for ages.

I bought this when I have been told it's very similar to ombre nomade. I unfortunately regret it because they are very different. This is very musky and not as leathery or oudy as ON. It's not bad tho but nota clone at all

The fruity notes don’t soften the oud’s medicinal harshness enough for my taste. Leans masculine. Will be returning this one.

I can't believe I have finally found something similar to Pure Havane's vibe. It's almost as if it starts like it, then it drifts towards Ombré territory. It's a bit of a rose / smoky twist. And for the price? I'm sold. UPDATE: it lasts looooong, around a whole day (from 9am to 8pm), but what remains is the smoky / gasoline drydown at just past midpoint. Frankly, very masculine and interesting, but bury any hopes on whether florals / aromatic notes last at the end.

Not sure how to feel about this. Opens up mad potent, with a powdery stank. If you really squint, you'll find a cute sweetness but that's covered up with bitter woods and the aforementioned stank. I wish the oud and musk were dialed back a bit and the rose, raspberry and benzoin actually got to shine at all. Birch was unnecessary here.

Rather that Ombre Nomade I'm more reminded of Tom Ford's Tuscan Leather, if you replaced the leather with rose and added Oud. Maybe that's a hot take to some but to me that's spot on .
