Amber Oud Gold Edition Extreme Pure Perfume

Even with the Erba Pura DNA, this perfume stands on its own bottle(get it? lol). First of all, majestic presentation! The atomizer is also pressurized which is lovely. The perfume itself is a darker version of the regular, thanks to the myrrh and cedar wood. I prefer this over the original which only excels in its fruitiness. The opening is much smoother in this one as well as it is better blended, the regular one starts with a synthetic note that dissipates later on. However, don’t expect any oudh in this one. Despite the name, amber is not accompanied by any oudh. It might just be the branding or the perfume line that it’s a part of. Needless to say, the amber is perfect in this one, and mixes well with all the other notes in this perfume. The woody undertones grounds and adds depth, neutralizing the otherwise cloying nature of the regular one. The melon in the opening also dims the very bright bergamot and pineapple, smoothing it out even further. It’s safe to wear all year round, but DO NOT OVERSPRAY. This is exceptionally strong and it makes itself known. It enters before you even reach the door. I had accidentally sprayed it on my pajamas and I can smell it for days. Enduring longevity, it stays on my clothes forever and only dissipates after washing. Bathing only blurs the smell on my body that I can still smell it on me even after a shower. Easily fills the room with three sprays. I can argue that it outperforms Erba Pura as I have both bottles. For less than 60$ for a 200 mL bottle + a refillable spare bottle, this is a no brainer. My go-to perfume any day! Also, this layers well with any vanilla or gourmand dominant perfumes, which is a win for me as a gourmand girlie. I can proclaim I found love in this bottle. Easy 20+ hours on skin and lasts days on clothing. Leaves a trail for 10+ hours and builds a scent bubble for longer than that. Can’t underestimate the quality of this perfume. I hope it does not suffer any reformulation in the future.

Wow! I have had this fragrance for around 5 months and this does not dissapoint, or does it? When i first copped the fragrance i was dissapointed, at the first wiff of it it just smelled like sweet fresh grass (then the drydown made it into a buetiful vanilla) But the top notes were off. Now i get mostly of all the notes and i got to admit it is very good. Rewiev: It starts of with bergamonth and green notes with a little pinnappel and som sweets which gives it a syntitic fruity kinda Vibe (in a good Way) it stays like that for about 3-5 hours (with nueclaer projektion) then kinda put of nowhere comes a very very Nice vanilla with slight musk that stays for around 1-2 hours and then in the fully drydown it turnés to a mixture of all the notes (except bergamont and cedar) with a slight woody touch This last around 15 hours with crazy projection I Will say that i Would like a more woody drydown and im not the biggest fan of green notes (tho i dont mind Them) not the most safest blind buy out there but you get all the money you paid for in my opinion. Smell: 8 very cortoversial some are gonna say its better Performance: 10 Value for money: 9,5 Most suitible for: spring but could go all year (not in the hottest of the hottest of all summer days doe. Note i am a 16 year old but have smelt many niche and clones, and yes this is defintly better that erba pura (hate that fragrance so many better options out there)

Reading the reviews on here I was worried it will smell synthetic but when I got it I was pleasantly surprised. This is a very well blended fragrance. My batch code says 1 year since production. SMELL The opening is sweet and woody, I can sense amber, candy and woods immediately. There is vanilla and musk in drydown definetely. I didn't pick up pineapple and melon tho. Leans more masculine, dark and not to sweet but still enough to make you smell fruity without cloying sweetness. LONGEVITY & PROJECTION Longevity is great, easily 10 hours on my skin. Projects very strong, it easily overtakes any other perfumes in the room. BOTTLE Presentation as with all the Amber Oud fragrances is wonderful, the box feels very solid and well-made to the hand. You also get a small decant bottle which is a great touch. The bottle shape and form is same as all other in this line, but this one has a nice rectangular pattern on the front and on the cap which makes it look very luxurious and expensive.

I smelled it in the store and I haven’t stopped thinking about it. This is so freaking good I could slap someone else's mama. Not my mama bc she’ll hit me back lol. But no, this is slap ya mama good. Idk what people are expecting from this maybe they have super expensive rich taste and are extremely hard to please. I’ve been OBSESSED with this fragrance and I’m so glad it’s a spot on identical 95% to the Erba Pura. I was literally about to spend all my money until I found this. I hate dupes bc they’re never the same as the original but this one is definitely just like the original. One of those rare moments when the dupe is just as good. If you don’t have a stick up the back side give it try. Smells like a dark aquatic tropical paradise with lots of amber and vanilla. Uuuuugggh I love it.

This is a beast of a perfume! I tend to be the type of person for whom perfumes don't last long, but I can say that this is one of the few that lasts longer than I want. Even after showering, I can still feel it on the skin of my arm. On the other hand, it maintains the intense sweetness of the original, but without being cloying, only enriched with more intensity in the green note and in the wood. Overall, I love it; it's very versatile although, unlike the original, it's a bit heavier for the heat. I like the scent of this one more, it has that extra masculine touch, but I prefer the versatility of the previous one since it's more usable in hot weather.

I love this fragrance. It smells exactly like the regular Amber Oud Gold Edition but with some added woodiness. A matter of fact, this smells just like Amber Oud Private Edition. Amber Oud Gold Edition, Amber Oud Extreme Gold Edition and Amber Oud Private Edition all smell the same. The regular gold edition is the more youthful, fruitier and muskier than the other two. The other two ramped up the camphor woody notes. All of them are long lasting, beast mode and make you smell unique. This perfume will dominate any other perfume. Al Haramain never disappoints, especially with this amber oud line.

I hope this isn't limited as I enjoy it more than the original. A previous review mentioned a new dirty peppery smell, which thankfully I don't notice as I wouldn't like that. What I do notice is a brighter, juicier fruity smell that extends into ambery resin, something I can't find to enjoy as much in the original which is now more boring to me. This is also slightly more woody, though thankfully not too much. Al Haramain lists the differences as instead of gourmand notes there's now sweet notes and the addition of cedarwood and myrrh, which I think is accurate.

The scent is Beautiful.... But ⬇️! Opening of bubblegum, sweet, soft, vanilla and again bubblegum and fruit, melon scent. I don't feel any woody notes and from here I'm already starting with the bad, how beautiful the aroma is, how much it lacks shine, even in the opening it is very light. Longevity 10h +, but the projection is none. FYI, I aged the perfume for a month before giving it a review, so the maceration didn't work. I love Al Haramain Amber Oud Tobacco Edition, it's one of my favorites but I'm very disappointed here unfortunately 🥺

I've been using it for almost half a year. It is indeed a bit synthetic, especially on the first spray. Typical Erba Pura DNA, maybe a bit more candy-like. If you don’t smell it directly on the skin, it doesn’t have that synthetic note, especially after it’s had some time to develop. I kind of regret not getting the regular Oud Gold—it’s not as candy-like and not woody. The box is beautiful and gives a premium feel. Overall, 8–9/10, 9 if you don’t smell it straight from the skin.

This one really reacts to your surroundings. Once the openings are over, if you are in nature the base notes play a powerful role. They are woody, dark. It reminds me of my father’s mechanical shop with the gease and oil and or more likely the grit soap he used to clean it off with. Yes that is it But if you are in a dirty environment, the candy smell bounces off the walls. You smell it and say surely that isnt me. But yes it is you.

Idk what most of the people in these reviews are talking about because in my opinion this fragrance is not polarizing AT ALL and it almost seems mass appealing. The scent is extremely pleasant and less fruity than expected, i would consider it a very safe blind buy. Not to mention the longevity is crazy, this john is definitely worth picking up. (Also anyone who says it leans feminine is tripping)

Erba Pura's thick and ultra fruity opening with a persistently smoky pistachio with a leathery myrrh accord. Very strong and broody, this is well-suited for cold weather with a loud projection, lasts for ages. This is not identical to the original Amber Oud Gold, they only share a similar opening for a few minutes. A good flanker that requires sampling.

Beast mode Melon and candy, with a vanilla drydown. Lasts like 16 hours. Smells the same as the original but with woods. I ordered it blindly and when it came, i sprayed it once on my skin, rubbed it on my father's hand and after 8 hours he said that he could still smell it even tho he showered...

Damn i really love this , its my best perfume of my collection its little bit expensive for clone but its worth it 💯 Update after few month . Its my favourite perfume all time over all perfume its beast mode it’s bunch of fruits and smells high quality Just WOW.

Sweet melon candy like opening with a green woody drydown like fresh cut grass for me. Projection is great. Performance 7-8hours for me. Very nice fragrance. Great for both men and women but this one lands more on the masculine side.

Finally i get to smell like candy, absolute sweet banger. Ofcourse it smells synthetic, candy isnt exactly made in nature. All year rounder, can be too overpowering in the heat, and also lasts 12h +

Maybe the strongest perfume i own. Erba pura clone, with a little of masculinity on it. Still to sweet for being a man fragrance, but is good. compliment magnet.

Take my review with a grain of salt since my bottle is immature. I really like it sprayed in the air, on my blanket and in my car even though it does lean masculine. I sprayed on my skin, the green notes, bergamot and pineapple are pleasant, but in the mid there’s a smell of rotten fruit that reminds me of Molinard Nirmala along with cigarette smoke (the myrrh I believe because I get the same thing in Toujours Moi which also has myrrh) which I find unpleasant, but that goes away rather quickly. I do like the woodsy vanilla dry down. And I actually think it smells less masculine on my actual skin (not too woody) which is a good thing. I was worried I was possibly going to have to return it or give it away, but I’m going to give it time and probably gradually get used to it because it’s strong. Btw I’ve never tried Erba Pura so this was a risky blind buy for sure. Edit: I’m sure I’ll update this in the future and I had my teenage son smell my arm and he said, “it smells good.” I said, “ it’s not too manly.” He replied no. I suppose if I end up not really vibing with it, I can give it to him now that he’s 13. I will just specify no more than 2 sprays! Edit: I’m really liking this. I layered it with BBW Costa Rica, a pineapple scent today and I smelled so good! I think 3 sprays is the most that should be sprayed as the fruity notes can be cloying. I think people who don’t like this have smelt someone overdo it. And it is one of those that smells better in the beginning when it’s not up close, but the dry down is gorgeous! I get the negativity though surrounding this dna. I smelled a worker at Walmart wearing one of the Erba Pura dupes and they were wearing too much. Ick. I’m starting to not care for the BR540 dna as I feel it’s just overdone so I’m not surprised that people feel like this about these particular dupes. Thank you to chibiboy16 for the great review. Their review really was what got me to buy it.

The OG Gold edition smells almost identical in the opening, but then goes into exotic ice-cream smell. This, in the opening smells almost completely like bag of Jelly Beans, also has almost kind of a electric effect as incense electrifies and pushes sourness through the sweet fruityness of the jellybeans. I love the opening and I wish the fragrance would stay that way... But this goes from sweet, into very dark, smoky oregano, with incense patchouli and myrrh, and it smells just like Interlude by Amouage/Supmremacy Incense by Afnan. Still very nice... But I don't know if I would want a fragrance that goes from careless sweet mood on a beach to a dark smoky, rainy leather jacked smoking ciggies in storm by a castle type of a fragrance... It goes from carless mood to Amouage Interlude in about a hour of wearing... Don't get me wrong, it still remains sweet after that, but it's more of a 85% Interlude 15% Jelly beans. Maybe if it's really dark rainy day, and you want something dark, to fit the mood, but with a slight hint of happiness in the background. That would probably be the occasion for this fragrance.

Esta fragancia es muy parecida a la origina amber oud gold edition (edt),la diferencia entre ambas q yo percibo es q esta tiene la nota verde bien marcada se siente mucho desde la salida esa nota verde,es muy verzatil y poderosa,longevidad exelente 10 a 12 facil hasta mas,me he levantado al ptro dia y percibo el perfume en la piel facil,proyeccion,para mi proyecta de manera bestial muy potente pero creo q la edt se proyecta un poco mas y eso es mucho decir,perfume coqueto q gusta a las masa,dulce q enamora e invita a olerlo,se siente a metros de distancia por 4 a 5 horas luego baja a algunos 2 a 3 metros por varias horas mas hasta q se hace una burbuja personal como de 3 a 4 pies hasta el final del perfume!! Sin lugar a dudas maravilloso perfume q te traera cumplidos por montones!! En mi opinion personal este me gusta mucho pero el edt me gusto mas pq la nota verde en el edt no esta tan marcada como en este,pero aun asi me encanta!! Le doy un 8/10

I got a 200ml tester for a good deal which is awesome. I like this scent, it's almost a love. I love the tropical part a lot. The bad part is, the dry down to this is eternal. It's eternal resinous amber and vanilla and it just keeps pumping and pumping and pumping and pumping and pumping. This is a winter only scent practically, and I was hoping for something that could be all year around. Is it cold in Dubai or something, what the hell?! I can't imagine spraying more than once or twice on the back of my knees in summer. Can you do a recall and maybe reduce the basenotes by like half, and pump up the top and heart to compensate. Jesus f'n jesus man.. UPDATE: 7:30am to 1:30 am.. 18 hours, I still smell this vanilla/myrrh dry down when I shake my head, or catch a whiff when I get up or something.

I will not be purchasing this fragrance because quite frankly it smells like the outdoors, I will be purchasing the original gold edition because that sweetness is amazing.

The first time that I tried this it was overwhelming. I let it sit for about a month and tried it again. I really like it. A lot goes a little and you can definitely over do it if you're not careful. I love the fruit notes and as it dries down this seductive scent takes over.

Mine has arrived. Smells just like the original but niched up. I can't identify the note but, it smells just like whatever they added to Layton Exclusif & Pegasus Exclusif, that dirty, peppery smells in those has been added to this...awesome.

For my taste AOG is feminine but this version makes it unisex, more mossy, green and no saffron is mentioned but i feel saffron and I like the enhancement they made to the original

One thing i forgot to mention BE CARFUL WHEN YOU SPARY THIS! I sprayed ONCE and now my entire living smells like this. Beast mode longevity and performance.

Have a 98% full bottle with box if anyone is interested to buy or swap, love the scent on paper but something does not agree with my skin. Super bummed

Beastmode fragrance, similar to erba pura

This is a high-quality perfume with a refined, elegant, and rich composition. It’s a beautifully well-balanced fragrance, and I particularly enjoy the woody and amber notes that develop over time, adding depth and character. Regarding longevity and sillage, it performs quite well. Be sure to test it on skin rather than on paper. On paper, the opening is overly sweet, but on my skin, the sweetness is more subdued, allowing the amber and woody notes to emerge earlier.

Sold mine, i had the 75ml. Its an erba pura clone , but its syntethic asf. Leans more feminine, its sweety melony. Goes almost all year round. Good price for what it offers but its not for me. Indeed its beastmode, 10 hours of longevity on skin, weeks on clothing and 3 hours atleast of strong sillage. I cant recommend this, its really sweet and headachey.

Just got my bottle a few weeks ago. It is a strong fragrance but I get a strange, fresh cut, red bell pepper smell making this a huge no for me. It literally makes me want to vomit. I simply can't imagine anyone enjoying that note. It'll sit in my fragrance cabinet for a while and hopefully it will get better... maybe macerate a bit.

Smells like a Erba Pura and Cool Water lovechild in the first hour or two and then dries down into a muskier fruit bowl scent of the former

There is a slight incense and greeness to this that changes the Erba Pura DNA for the worst or not to my liking I guess. All I want is a more male leaning version of Erba Pura that's less screechy. There is already a rendition of this and its Erba Pura Magica by Sospiro. The only thing is that's $325. I bought a sample of this because from the notes it looks like it might scratch that inch and it's not it guys. This also sits close to the skin. It may last a long time but it's not a beast like Erba pura is. This would be nice in the dead of winter but not that versatile as the green + incense vibe changes the DNA. I get the Amouage comparison but their incense smokey notes are best in class and this is not there. Overall, glad I only got a decant cause I will pass.

This is the first time I’ve felt compelled to leave a review here. I purchased this yesterday in the 5ml size, and after smelling it directly from the bottle I immediately thought it leaned much more masculine than unisex. This morning I decided to give it a proper try and sprayed a single puff on my chest. Four hours later, the scent was still so strong and heavy that I actually had to go home to shower and change my clothes. The fragrance is extremely overpowering, gave me a headache, and to my nose it is very masculine and dense. Personally, I do not enjoy this scent at all. I might appreciate it on a man, but as a “unisex” perfume it does not work for me.

Hmm. I bought this as the regular one disappeared on my skin after 30 minutes, and looking at reviews this was the same scent, just much stronger. However, this is not even close to the regular Gold Edition, it's a completely different scent and not at all as good. Also much more feminine than the regular, and just a linear fruity boring bad scent profile... And btw, also disappears after 30 minutes on skin. Super disappointed.

Honestly I wish I would have read the comments first. Monke go brr described it perfectly. To me it is very smoky. And that’s not even in the notes. I already have Swiss Arabian Shaghaf Oud Abyad Which is a dupe for interlude, so I didn’t really need this. If you have a smoky fragrance close to Interlude just save your money. This is not sweet at all.

Terrible !!! I have no idea why people say it smells amazing. Smells like cleaning product I use for my toilet. And it’s strong and very very synthetic. I like Arab fragrances but this I do not recommend!

It's strong no doubt. For the guys out there, there is no point in owning this, a clone of a fragrance that is feminine and average. If you really want Haramain, go with Carbon or Aqua Dubai for summer, both long lasting. Does this smell like erba pura? No, it smells like an average clone of it. The word "masculine" should not be associated. This is unisex.

I bought this last year during summer and absolutely hated it. It was super cloying, gave me and people around me headaches, disappeared off my skin within two to three hours. Fast forward couple of months later. I pulled it out of my closet this week and it has completely switched up. Those harsh notes finally blended together amazingly (average ME perfume experience lol). The performance quadrupled, it lasts 8h+ and smells amazing and lighter in a way. It has become a perfect all year round scent. But I wouldn't recommend it for hot summer days, rather cool evenings. Suits fall and winter more. It smells like a manlier version of the gold edition. I'm no perfume connoisseur but the best way i could describe the smell is: -cantaloupe - amber, vanilla - woody, kinda gourmand 5-6 sprays is the sweet spot for the perfect sillage IMO. If you just bought this and hate it, stick it in a dark drawer for a while, give it some time :)
