Amber Oud Private Edition

I have a couple of Al Haramain fragrances, Aqua Dubai being one of the best fragrances I own! I blind bought the Pravate Edition. On the first sprays I was completely lost for words, my brain couldn't comprehend what was going on as it doesn't smell like anything else I've ever had or used. My initial reaction was "eurrgghh" WTF is this! 5 days later and I'm now absolutely loving it, it's absolutely gorgeous and comforting. I'm sure there's other fragrances it smells similar to but nothing in my collection, it's unique. This has beast mode performance and even longer on clothing! I think this is a solid 9.5/10 all round. But... I definitely wouldn't recommend as a blind buy, I got lucky! I think this is a remarkable fragrance but I guarantee it's gonna be polarising. I own several Al Haramain Amber Oud series fragrances: The original one, DUBAI NIGHT and now - Private Edition What can I say? Lots of comments , but really, really nothing close to what is being commented. I am not going to comment "notes" of the smell or what fragrances it clones (inspired by) What I will tell - these fragrances are GORGEOUS! Smooth yet not too loud. By comparing, Private edition is a bit stronger, more refined and more pronounced version of original Amber Oud. On my oppinion these fragrences are suitable for any occasion and any time of the year and day perfectly. A well done, well balanced fragrances! A true designer and niche quality

Gorgeus fragrances (EDP)! Smooth, noticable yet not loud! Owning this as 3rd of Amber Oud Series (Original, Dubai Night and now - Private Edition) I would say - this one is very close to original Amber Oud. But more refined, a bit louder and more balanced. If you realy in love with original Amber Oud - this one is sure a must have! As it is only slightly heavier than original Amber Oud, these fragrances are absolutely suitable as all year-all day-all occasion round fregrances! Either formal, casual or sporty style today, evening, morning or a date night - no worries, suites any situation!!!!

It seems that this Al Haramain Amber Oud Private Edition is not as popular. This is probably my favorite out of this entire collection. It smells very similar to Erba Pura and Al Haramain Amber Oud Gold Edition. However, there is a bit more fruitiness to it like the one from God of Fire. It's like Erba Pura and God of Fire had a baby. A 50/50 cross of the two. It's amazing, lasts long and the atomizer is pressurized. It's strong like the others in the Amber Oud collection so just be mindful of how much you spray.

Got mine in today and to my nose I’m getting a tone down version of Al Haramain Gold edition which I own. The only difference is on the dry down I’m getting more of a dark sweet melon scent if that makes any sense I like it but, to be honest IMO at least for me I feel this was a redundant purchase for me if you already have the gold edition. I’m ah let this sit for a month undisturbed and come back to it and see if there are any changes.

I don’t know about the negatives votes here. I have this fragrance and is a mixed of their BRK and erba pura clones (rouge and gold edition) with a new/low tone of woody notes and resins that it’s really good...a lot of compliments with this one. Love it. Longevity: 8-10 hours Projection: 1 meter for the first hour, arms length after that and closed to the skin after 4-5 hours. Silage is beautiful. Unisex for sure.

Erba Pura without the 'airiness' and has more of a deep, masculine presence, with a sharper feel to it thanks to the resinous notes in the drydown. Slightly more woody as well.

#324 in my "Tour de Fragrance" A new flanker in the line and clearly one still unnoticed by this community. In the opening the oud and balsam overpower everything. It's all I could smell before I started sneezing and my nose started running, though that only lasted through the dry down. I can't tell any difference whatever between this and Reminiscence Oud. Both claim a bevy of notes, but the oud and balsam in each are so prominent that you just get that smell of singed wood you get when you try to use a dull bladed table saw on a piece of mahogany. So far this is the only Al Haramain "Amber Oud" frag I dislike and I deem it an unsafe blind buy, though if you're the creative type that plays around with layering fragrances this could be a tool in your drawer for when the oud is just not enough. I had an appointment to get to so instead of scrubbing this off I spritzed some Mancera Wind Wood on top and the result was absolutely yummy! There are those folks that never seem to find a fragrance with enough oud to satisfy their craving, and if that's you, this is your Holy Grail.

I honestly don't know what went through my mind when I decided to buy this. This smells overly sweet, and the kind of fruity sweet you might get from leftover apples or dates that you've forgotten about. The only thing I can give this fragrance - is performance. If you like the smell of this, then 100ML will last you a lifetime because there's no need to respray this one with 12+ hours for continuous radiation.

I just want to say that this perfume has absolutely nothing to do with Erba Pura. Maybe the extreme gold version is the closest to Erba Pura but not this one . I blind bought it looking for a cheaper version of Erba Pura but I’m quite disappointed.

im abit surprised this isnt the number one comparison but... this is LITERALLY bharara king HAHAH this was one of the rare times where i initially spray a cologne for the first time and immediately- IN SECONDS just know 'oh. yeah. this is literally __' theres this fruity warm opening, and in the background some creamy- lotion like scent. its definitely well blended, and i can see young people maybe in the 16's wearing this but you can try to get away with this on a mature level. the downside to that is the fruity notes give off less of that vibe in a formal setting. its definitely great for all season around but personally best in the summer or fall. this fruity tropical vibe doesnt sit the best in the cold

This is definetly not erba pura, not even close. This is more woody and masculine, like a sweet woody type of smell. which I enjoy. There is a good amount of musk which helps this feel really good and well blended, I enjoy it and this definetly peforms as well

I have amber oud gold edition, this fragrance is just less sweet.
