Amber Oud Smell Dubai

I blind bought this Al Haramain Smell Dubai. Based on the fragrance pyramid, I expected it to be simply fresh, barbershop-esque, and floral. But no! It literally smells like all the designer perfumes mixed in one bottle! It's very sweet, so you can use it not only in summer! The sweetness here isn't warm and spicy, but gentle, slightly fruity, like in Hawas Ice. I really liked it, it's one of the best fragrance in my collection! What I smell here most is: 1) a lot of mint and a lot of sweet vanilla from Versache Eros; 2) pleasant, orange blossom from YSL MYSLF; 3) a bit of sweet freshness from Invictus; 4) and in the background, you can feel the green, clean, grassy soapiness of Davidoff Cool Water and Creed Green Irish Tweed, but only in the background, nothing more! Don't pay attention to the accords of this perfume, it's not as fresh as described. It's fresh in a different sense, it's mentholated; in the nose, it feels like menthol gum. But there's one drawback!: After just 30-40 minutes, a lot of oakmoss appears, which will gradually become even more prominent and become the main note in Drydown. It's not listed in the notes, but it's actually there, and a lot of it! To me, it even seems animalic, and I personally don't really like that. It's a male scent, but it's male in a way that's like Invictus and Versace Eros! It's very much for young boys (14-28); it's not masculine and mature, even though there are masculine Creed Green Irish Tweed and Davidoff Cool Water in the background. This perfume is not refreshing enough to wear in extreme heat. It’s not synthetic at all. The longevity is very good, the sillage is good, but not beast mode, since it is not sharp. Better than Aqua Dubai.

I’ve had this for a couple of weeks now. It’s strange that so few people have reviewed it, since in my experience it’s really nice. Not much hype, but it’s a recent release so maybe that explains it. Other reviewers have called it a cross between Creed Green Irish Tweed and YSL MYSLF. I haven’t smelled Creed’s original, but I have smelled Davidoff’s Coolwater, Arabiyat Prestige’s Asha’a Noir (a clone of GIT) and the original MYSLF, and I think that’s probably legit to some degree. Initial sprays were good, but my God did it improve with a couple of weeks of maturation. It is now one of my favourites. It is very grassy and clean smelling and there is a bit of an orange blossom undertone. That orange blossom gets stronger with the dry down. It reminds me of a high end hotel soap or something along those lines - not a cheap Irish Spring smell but it’s in that ball park I suppose. It’s very lightly sweet. I think it can be used year round. Performance is great - can smell it on myself at the end of the day and it lasts overnight. It’s probably well suited to an office or work situation, as there is a certain maturity to it, but it’s so freaking good. I wasn’t totally wowed by Coolwater or Asha’a Noir, but I will be wearing this often. Banger.

This fragrance is fantastic. I've had this for about 2 months and have been trying to put people on. This is a super solid fragrance. Long-lasting and moderate projecting. It is elegant and perfect for people who enjoy clean fragrances. This is 100% a Green Irish Tweed hybrid. It smells VERY similar to GIT but it has some YSL style florals that make it a bit more mass appealing. Don't believe me? If you look at the notes, it literally has only one missing note of Green Irish Tweed and YSL Libre Intense combined. YSL Libre is the female version of YSL MYSLF basically. But Smell Dubai isn't feminine. It's as unisex as YSL MYSLF. I'd say it smells like 85% GIT with the remaining being the added florals. I can personally say I prefer Smell Dubai over Green Irish Tweed. If you've never smelled GIT and you're wondering what this smells like.... basically, imagine if they made a $100 niche version of Irish Spring soap. That's this scent in a nutshell. 10/10 to me and I will keep this in my collection as long as they make it!

Beautiful fragrances super easy to wear. Compliment grabbing, good performance, and solid longevity. Its good straight out the box but if you give it time to mature. Ooooooh my GAAAWD!!! 10/10 highly recommend. Slightly sweet, fresh, powdery, and soapy you do the math. Imagine being fresh out the shower and laying down on clean cool sheets.

I like this. It's a fragrance you can wear for every occasion. It starts off old school like Versace Pour Homme and immediately takes a turn and becomes soapy, a green soapiness. This is not going to blow your socks off but it's a Swiss Army knife, it can do every job. Performance is solid, 8hrs on clothes with medium projection. Just a fragrance you don't have think about. Just apply and go.
