Black Oud

I've had some mixed experiences with the house of Al Haramain over the years, but this is an absolute banger for the colder months, especially suited for night time wearing. Black Oud is incredibly well-blended, hyper masculine; dark toned with a stellar and mysterious oud note + a slightly green earthiness - mainly coming from the smokey thyme and vetiver - at it's core but balanced with some lighter and cleaner notes and the performance most certainly won't anything left to be desired (a true Extrait de Parfum). Beautiful bottle with a heavy (!) cap as well, spectacular heavy I must say. Everything about this seems niche, except for the fact that it's pretty affordable. While there are also a lot of Middle Eastern fragrances that are twice as cheap I would advice people to pay a bit more money and get something truly high quality like this (if you like the scent profile).

It does smell like Oud Wood, but that one is much sharper than this, this is like a blunter/smoother and oudier version of it. I do kinda miss the sharpness of Oud Wood, but this guy is pretty good still. Lasts long, projects well and it has decent versatility tbh, I don't find it nearly as heavy as the ratings would suggest, although it is rather on the formal side of things. Good value even if it is fairly expensive compared to other options from the middle east, the quality is very damn nice. Sample first, or at least smell Oud Wood first lol.

Insane projection and longevity - sprayed a tester strip over a week ago and can still smell it when entering the room it’s in. Opening is a medicinal oud reminiscent of oud wood TF. The dry down is a clean wood mixed with smooth sandalwood and vanilla with the pepper and Vetiver running through the whole thing.

Very Masculine Scent, Spices, Vetiver and Oud. Lasts long time and is beautiful.

This is an Oudh fragrance with an aromatic and almost "clean" facet to it. The centerpiece is Oudh which you can smell from initial spray to the end of it's projection (which is quite a long time). Then built around that you have the aromatic and cleaner notes such as Clove, Cardamom, Tonka and Vanilla which are all blended equally in my opinion so there isn't a singular note which jumps out at you, aside from the centerpiece Oudh (and maybe the Cardamom as well). Projects past arm's length and lasts on skin approximately 10h. The "clean" aspect for me comes from the aromatic and musky notes. The most similar fragrance to this is Al Haramain Golden Oudh (50 year anniversary) as shown below, which I have personally had. The initial sprays are identical, however, give it a minute and they transform into completely different fragrances from each other. It also reminds me of Tom Ford Oud Wood due to the combination of Oudh, Cardamom and Tonka. Overall this is a great fragrance, nice looking bottle and a sleek, compact box. This is an Extrait De Parfum, so the longevity and intensity will be boosted. Notes: Aromatic - Oudh - Musky Scent: 7.5/10 Longevity: 10/10 Projection: 8/10

Great scent! Quite dark and dense. Slight anise vibe from this mix of notes over a bed of clean oud. Woods, spices and musks! Really good for winter nights. Underrated gem for sure!

Wood and oud, oud and wood it’s the Oud Wood I’ve been obsessed with and searching for a quality dupe for so long. It’s truly luxurious and sophisticated, with impressive longevity, over 8 hours. Never thought I’d found it at a store near my house, just by chance. What a luck. Update: 10h on skin It is not exactly like TF OW but more passionate and slightly more powerful. The initial scent is quite strong, but as it dries down, it becomes more similar to OW.

I'm sorry but this smells nothing like TF's Oud wood.... Does not last more than na hour on skin nor on clothes! Next! I've just done a layering of this with silver mountain water.. and all I get is silver mountain water! It's weak AF!
