Destino

This review is for those trying to determine the differences and trying to save money at the same time. So Destino is a Al Haramain fragrance. The reviews are pretty low for this fragrance on Youtube & Fragrantica because it appears the word didn't get out about the French Collection until they introduced Destino Rouge & Noir & now another new one Blanche is here. So this fragrance got overlooked. Destino should have more reviews because it's really good but not many know about it's existence. Because of what I heard below from other Fragrantican's about its performance and quality though I decided to take a chance and buy it. What a great fragrance and the performance is outstanding. It's very similar to Dossier Floral Marshmallow in the sense it has the fluffy fuzzy marshmallow note at first..but as this dries down it becomes smoother and has a sweet orange candy note that comes out in the forefront which is really pretty along with the marshmallow dry down. It also smells a bit green like Melodie de Orientica which is a dupe for Sintra. But Destino never pushes the green note over the edge like someone would want from Melodie de Orientica/Sintra that maybe much for others. So it's important to know what you're getting into when it comes to the differences with these fragrances. Destino is an easier fragrance to wear with quality. Destino is a good balance of all the notes and would be a great entry fragrance and could be the best dupe if your looking to get one closer to Oriana & Killian's LDBS because the quality is there..it lasts and projects. The order to buy these fragrances for beginners would be Destino first if your looking for a closer dupe to Oriana/LDBS. Then if you want the fragrance stronger, fuzzier on the marshmallow and greener then get Melodie de Orientica, then Sintra. I heard that Sintra is even greener plus I think there is a milk note in that one so it could be a bit creamier as well as stronger. I've never tried Sintra and aimed for Melodie de Orientica to see if I could handle the green note in it and I absolutely can since I love green notes. But if your not familiar with green grassy notes and want to grow into them you can start with Destino and then work your way up to Melodie de Orientica and then Sintra. You maybe happy with Melodie de Orientica and stay there for the price. For me Melodie de Orientica is the best for me personally right now for quality and getting that Oriana/LDBS vibe and yet bringing something different with the orange and green notes to make it more interesting. When the times comes that I can afford Sintra it maybe my top fragrance of all time as I am so happy with Melodie de Orientica right now for scent, performance, quality, presentation and packaging. But on the days when you don't want those fully green notes then Destino is where it's at. Plus the presentation is really nice. A heavy bottle with a nice dark berry color to match the juice. It has a nice gold cap that snaps right on. Plus you get 100ml with Destino where as Floral Marshmallow you only get 50ml. I do love Floral Marshmallow because it's the fuzziest/fluffiest with the marshmallow out of them all without the orange and green notes, but I hate that you only get 50ml and if you go ham on this fragrance it won't last long. I've already put a huge dent on my Floral Marshmallow so I had to look for alternatives that were more affordable and gave you more product in the long run. I think with Destino & Melodie de Orientica you don't need anything else. And when I finish all of them I will continue to buy Melodie de Orientica or even Sintra because I'm ready to go stronger on the green notes with Sintra. But Melodie de Orientica has also the thickness, sweetness, performance and fluffy marshmallow that I feel its the most interesting of the bunch and it really makes me want to get the original Sintra. But Destino has no strong alcohol smell. It's not harsh at all like most dupes. I really love it and it comes in second for me but it could be a first place dupe if you have always wanted to try Sintra but needed an entry level version you could handle while still holding true to Killian's LDBS & Oriana. I think it's gorgeous and the price is just right at $43 dollars on Amazon with shipping included. Many below are comparing it to a stronger better version of Ansaam Gold. And it's more affordable than Ansaam Gold. So has Ansaam Gold been replaced..we will see..hopefully more will buy it and let us know but from what I'm hearing this maybe a better alternative. Update: When you first try this fragrance you can really feel this fragrance but as you adapt to it it calms down and is easily wearable..it becomes light. You can smell it on your clothes and it sits close to you. You will get wafts to your nose but gently. Like a gentle scent cloud. My preference is still Melodie de Orientica for strength and longevity but if you like something much more lighter and airy then this maybe the one you prefer. It is present on you and people can smell it next to you especially when they are close. My husband was like you smell like lovely marshmallows. lol. :) The way this performs will be different on everyone so also consider that. For me this starts off very strong and then calms as it wears on you. But you get gentle wafts that come in and out if that makes sense.

I am a sucker for Marshmellow fragrances, this fragrance has just earned a place in my top five fragrances!! It is very similar to Ansaam Gold except: Destino has a more pronounced citrus (tangerine) note in the opening. Additionally, the opening in Destino does not have that strong alcoholic blast that is present in Ansaam Gold. As the fragrance dries down (about two minutes after initial spray), the orange blossom, the candied berries and the Marshmello becomes very prominent and the citrus notes takes a back seat. The powdery musk also magnifies as the fragrance sits, preventing it from being too overbearing. This fragrance imo is smoother, creamier, sweeter and less musky than Ansaam Gold. Ansaam Gold also has more prominent floral notes where as in Destino, the Marshmello has a stronger presence. It also projects more and lasts for a much longer time. Overall, Destino has a better quality than Ansaam Gold! Suitable for all seasons, all occasions, day or night. Unfortunately, I do not have Oriana so I'm not able to compare each fragrance to see which of the two fragrances is more similar. This is a LOVE for me. I'm so happy to have this in my collection!! I'm not usually a backup bottle kind of gal but I will be purchasing another bottle before this gets hyped on YT and TikTok!

876Beauty said its perfectly she summed everything up exactly! This fragrance is Oriana and Ansaam Gold mashed together! If you like either of these two fragrances you'll like destino. I prefer destino to Ansaam Gold because destino has this beautiful Tangerine citrus fruit note on the top. Destino Al Haramain is beautiful, sweet marshmallowly soft, fluffy scent. I feel like destino is just more it gives more. It's like you took ansaam Gold and vamped it up; turning it more elegant and it smells higher quality. There's just more to this one... I've put a dent in this bottle!! I have a rather large collection but this scent is so easy to wear anytime, all the time... unfortunately this doesn't last as long as middle eastern fragrances tend to last...usually they are beasts lasting 10+ hours. With destino, on my skin it last around 3 hours with good projection,maybe 4 hours being skin scent, then gone at the 5 hr mark. Being this scent is inexpensive that doesn't bother me much. Ansaam Gold is also a cheapy as well and a dupe for Oriana...if you where to ask me out of Destino Al Haramain or Ansaam Gold, which one? DEFINITELY Destino Al Haramain it just smells more expensive 😊

This is an ORIANA dupe, NOT LDBS. Fruity floral gourmand. Feminine, girly. Citrus/raspberry at the top then settles into orange blossom and marshmallow. Works in warm weather. Oriana is one of my favs. COMPARISONS - Oriana: known for having a beautiful scent but poor performance. Can confirm. - Reyna: almost exact to Oriana, but it has to sit a few months to fill out and gain longevity - Ansaam Gold: Awful and musty. Not close to Oriana but I can tell what it's trying to do. Does last and project very well. - Destino: is the best of the 4. Mimics the drydown of Oriana (softer citrus opening) and lasts much longer. Tested them side by side several times; will not repurchase Oriana. $40/100ml on Jomashop

This is probably the best clone of my girl, Oriana, that I’ve tried so far! It is very, very similar and I couldn’t tell the difference in the dry down. On initial spray, I do get a little more fruity orange blossom than the original, that gives it a tiny LDBS vibe but it’s still much closer to Oriana. The bottle is sturdy and a beautiful magenta as well! Destino is to Oriana what Junoon Noir is to Dama Bianca. The OG’s are my top favorite frags and Haramain has made clones that shine just as brightly and save me at least $100. Always a win there! Definitely try this one out - I prefer it to the Lattafa Ansaam Gold clone by light years.
