Detour Noir Intense

When I bought my Noir Intense in November 2024 I suspected that my bottle would be very fresh... because it was launched in 2024. I was wrong, BD: 03/24. Actually, it should have been ready then... but I am very attached to certain rituals. I sprayed it fifteen times and put it in the cabinet. I tried it yesterday and I'm still doing it today. I have Pegasus Exclusif... but I'm saving it, I love this scent. Al Haramain is close, but even if it is something else, it is definitely a wonderful fragrance. The beginning is something special... but what comes later is even better, when cardamom combines with almond, lavender, jasmine... and with vanilla that appears quite quickly. You have to experience it. There is a delicate oud in the Western style, there are sweet woody notes. That's not to sweet, that's not too harsh. The scent is complex but very delicate, a scent for dates, for formal occasions, a captivating scent that will testify to the class of the person who uses it. I always knew that my Pegasus was in my top five among fragrances from PdM. Perhaps Detour Intense doesn't have such good ingredients, it certainly doesn't have such good parameters as its predecessor (but it's not a weakling either)... but when we forget about all that and try to look at it for a moment as an independent, slightly inspired ;), new perfume, we'll understand that for $25 we get a wonderful gem. I rarely, almost never, talk like this about fragrances inspired by or clones from the U.A.E. ... but this time I am simply stunned. They managed it, they... clever bastards from Al Haramain managed it and even if it's not a complete equivalent of the noble Pegasus ... it's a special, memorable fragrance. It may be a very intimate frag, it is not a beast, a fragrance suitable for meetings indoors, in close contact ... but this is not its weak point, only its destiny to be used in such occasions. Spring and summer nights, autumn and winter.... That's a fragrance for the whole year, a fragrance for special tasks. The fact that it's not as strong, as decisive as its older brother may be its great advantage. I really do not believe what I am writing here, I do not believe that perfumes for $25 can smell so beautiful, because before I was fully convinced that similarly captivating Pegasus Exclusif is worth almost $300 ... and thought that price is OK. Damn ... they really managed it!!! Detour Noir Intense!!! Officially, i invite You to the stores. ;) BTW - No, I don't live in Dubai, I don't work for a big company, I'm not some cheeky salesman and nobody pays me for it. I'm just a young retiree selling my skills, acquired in a completely different field (that's what happens with soldiers, they wear out quickly), "young" man who found a new hobby and is having a great time. I'm not that sensitive. ;) In the army we used Quorum, Aramis, Jacomo, Kouros, Antaeus, Fahrenheit (old Fahrenheit...) and many other typically fragrances for crazy risk-takers... all those mega masculine, scary, tobacco, leather, sweaty scents. It was only later that I started playing with nuances. It all started some time ago, in the distant past... perfumes from grandparents, perfumes from parents, perfumes bought by my brother, by my wife, by my special friends... perfumes as gifts. And at some point I stopped counting but I have never been and will never become any specialist, exclusive reviewer, influencer, one of those people I met here on Fragra. However, there remains some baggage of experience, over 1000 different scents... both expensive and very cheap. Detour Noir Intense can easily be nominated for the award for the best budget perfume of 2024. Writing this... I keep smelling my wrist and I can't believe they managed to create something so wonderful... I can't believe it, it must be magic. Of course, everyone has the right to make their own choices... you can go higher, buy the great Pegasus Exclusif, and pay ten times more. It won't be a mistake, it will be just your personal choice... you will pay for an even better scent. However, here and now we are dealing with cheap, Arabian perfumes... which are simply outstanding, we are dealing with them, because they are actually the most important heroes of my comment.

Whereas Detour Noir is a fresh vanilla forward fragrance, Detour Noir Intense is quite intense. It's a complex fragrance with lots of notes but overall it's very warm and appealing. This is a good blend of sweet, vanilla, spicy, powdery, floral, amber, nutty, oud and woody aromas. Cardamom and lavender are prominent in the opening. You'd think they'd clash with the spices, wood, and oud notes but they're actually all very complementary towards each other. The oud in particular is light and appealing, which is somewhat of a miracle given how polarizing that note can be. Performance is average and a notch below fellow flanker Detour Noir Exclusif. This is great for social occasions and date nights. Gourmand lovers will appreciate how complex this is. It might lean too masculine for some female users due to the wood and oud notes, softened as they are by the cardamom and lavender. Performance is average, a notch below fellow flanker Detour Noir Exclusif, so be prepared to overspray on first use and respraying occasionally throughout the day. Overall, though, this is niche quality at a discounter price. Highly recommended.

Grabbed this one up after getting Eco and enjoying it. I've not sniffed Pegasus Exclusif, but I've smelled Pegasus. Definitely can pick up the similarity, this is much different than normal Pegasus, but also retains that same "root beer float" vibe. This, like what i imagine Pegasus exclusif being, is a deeper take on the original, though like Detour Eco, this stuff you can tell is a little less deep and extreme with its ingredients. Really impressed with the quality though, this stuff really doesn't have much syntheticness to it. The opening is really the only time you get any weirdness if any even there. The smell is much like Pegasus off the rip, lots of vanilla woods popping through, very nutty, with a touch of some floral. Gets closer and closer to the DNA, the longer it's on you. Very masculine to me, others may not have that experience with it, but this seems more masculine than anything else. It's performance like most clones, will likely increase within about a month, but as it sits right now, my sample sprays are pretty strong, and I venture to guess this will go around 10-12 hours with reasonable projection. Will likely redo or edit this review after today's wearing. All in all, glad again I saved hundreds to smell basically the same. 😊

I was not a massive fan of the original detour, only because of the harsh chemical scent in the opening, however it gets better after 30 minutes and has gotten better on my shelf, although I had already purchased a different dupe. Anyway, this one has me dumbfounded because it's only $24 and should be along the same line as the og and it is NOT. Now full transparency I don't own a bottle so the sample I received could in fact be from an aged bottle, which could explain how frickin good this smells and how close to the og this is. My sample from og is truely amazing and should probably save up for the og but for $25 and some time to age it makes me feel like 80% similarity is good enough. Can't believe I just said that. Hmm. Not sure what I'm going to do. Weird world or weird me but I'm torn between an Al-H and a PDM??? LOL

I've never smelled Pegasus Exlusif so I don't know how close this is to the fragrance it's inspired by. However I can tell you this is a great fragrance on its own. It's green aspects kind of remind me of Polo, but it's very powdery too, and it also has a very nice sweetness. It is super well balanced. This is a true powerhouse. What I mean by that is it's undeniably in your face masculine. It is plenty strong enough for sure though. I wouldn't call it "beast mode" as far as projection and sillage go, but it is plenty strong enough and lasts all day. This is a very gentleman like fragrance it's not very playful, but it is cozy. It's very dark and brooding, but it's sweet enough that it can be kind of comforting. The best way I can describe it is if JPG made a very serious LeMale this might be what it would smell like.

The Detour Noir line has added yet another wonderful clone courtesy of PDM. I did not see Bitter Almond listed as a note for this one, but to my nose this is a Creamy, Smooth, Almond bomb. Much like the original Pegasus Exclusif is. It's less metallic and more almond/powdery with that ambery sweetness. I found with these clones that the top notes get squashed fairly quickly and they focus on the dry down being identical to the original. It's another 90% clone that is incredibly affordable and worth every penny for everyday use. If you are seeking the full experience and complexity of the original than this is not it. If you want the overall scent profile with an identical dry down that lasts all day and is easy on your wallet than look no further than Detour Intense Noir!

This is what I was excited about. For years now, I've been betting on which one I like better, Pegasus or Fucking Fabulous. Final Dilemma; not from the bottom of my heart about either. Pegasus is perhaps too much dominated by the rubbery almond, and Fucking Fabulous turns perhaps a little too much to green aromaticity, which for some reason makes the scent masculine to my nose. Or mayby their dry down is just too smooth for me to love them? But this! I really don't get Oudh, or that kind woodyness from this..Instead, I get a big dose something like black pepper 😳, which on my skin dominates the scent until the drydown and keeping the mix interesting and intoxicating too. For me, this is not a masculine scent, for me this is mysterious vanilla. Mayby I'm weird like that.

#1089 in my "Tour de Fragrance" A clone of PDM "Pegasus Exclusif" and a very good one. I actually like it better that the Maison Alhambra's "Perseus Exclusif" which I judged to be a near miss, lacking the ambery character of Pegasus Exclusif, as opposed to their "Pegasus" clone "Perseus" which was dead on. "Detour Intense" is as good a clone as one gets for under $25 and definitely beats the heck out paying $300 for the PDM original. Nice woody amber, good longevity and projection, and like original Pegasus Exclusif, a versatile and inoffensive scent everyone will enjoy in every setting. Another successful blind buy for me.

This is my best clone fragrance so far. Smells HIGH quality, survives the cold weather, it lasts a lot. There's only a small 20 min wait till it smells better as most clone chemical based fragrances do (or even some normal brands also), but this is ok, given the great result right after. I've been fooled for other hyped clone fragrances so far because of all those youtubers (Lattafa Assad for example), but this is really worth it.

Smells like f*cking fabulous, if f*cking fabulous actually smelled good. They’re especially similar in the opening notes, maybe a bit softer, then Detour Noir Intense turns into a deliciously aromatic vanilla. Really great perfume, especially for the price. Long lasting too. Can’t speak on Pegasus Exclusif because I haven’t tried it, but taking into account the reviews of other people, I’d say it’s pretty close.

Initial spray(s)... Oof that's got a dirty opening.... Checks reviews.. right ok. Left for a week. And that initial dirty smell has gone. It's creamy and smooth, vanilla - lavender - almond - amber. Very nice. Will possibly give it another week or so, but it could of been the initial vaporiser tube ick. For the money it's a winner. Powdery warm vanilla. Lovely.

Fancy smelling frag I don't think this has an age but it definitely has a place and that is an office or a special occasion . Once again a pretty cheap but good smelling and well performing fragrance just be careful not to overspray it as the amount of vanilla in this perfume might give someone diabetes

this line is fabulous, only the rouge wasnt so great, getting Eco today. The intense one is very close to the Pegasus Ex, but less spicy IMO, sweeter, good push, would do better when heat is less. night out scent, perfect for rainy cool evening or Fall. 9/10

90% the same as Pegasus Exclusive. Pdm higher quality but I feel this is more wearable because the bitter almond note is toned down. Also projects and lasts like crazy, very good alternative

Differences I get with OG strip More -dark -woody -creamy Less -aromatic -floral -fresh -spicy I actually prefer the clone

This is a powdery warm vanilla almond scent that i believe resembles a marshmallow. Very good.

Woodys, almond, amber. It is very good. Good dupe for PDM at a great price.

Unique fragrans, Al Haramain is the one of the best perfumer in UAE !

This is WAY more wearable and mass appealing than Pegasus Exclusif.

Detour Noir Intense Al Haramain Perfumes vs Pegasus Exclusif Parfums de Marly Tested Detour Noir Intense (8 sprays on left hand/arm/sleeves) closely with PdM Pegasus Exclusif (8 sprays on right hand/arm/sleeves). I felt the opening of Detour Noir isn't well done or well blended. There is a very loud and prominent blend of Aroma Chemical (AC) which smells abit like nutmeg but it isn't it, you can pick up this similar loud AC smell in some pain relief cream and tcm creams for relief of pain/headaches (edit: Tiger balm smell) I'm not sure if it's my skin's reaction with the scent and other users may not get it. It's also not any scent characteristics I get from one of the opening notes either. However this AC smell gets lighter after 45 mins+- so but still lingers around I'll assume it's possibly a chemical reaction either on my skin or due to the blend. If I'm to put a rating on their opening comparison I'll give it a poor 5/10 because of this reason. I'm also glad to say this strong AC smell doesn't exist in the og Pegasus Exclusif which is very well done, with nice bitter almonds and vanilla support. It's loudness and projectivity for the Detour Noir Intense isn't too bad, slightly weaker and losing out to the og but the strength is there. I can see the Detour Noir Intense lasting 8-10 hours on skin in a cooler environment, lesser on a warm hot day outside. (because the Detour Noir Exclusif was much weaker than Layton Exclusif but the longevity was there for 8-10 hrs when I tested it few days ago). As I end this review it's just been an hour+ after I put on the scent so with that pain relief cream/gel ac smell lingering in the background, I'll stick to the og Pegasus Exclusif as I think Detour Noir Intense isn't good or close enough as an alternative and dupe. To be honest Maison Alhambra's Perseus Exclusif (which I also have) is still acceptable despite it being poor and weaker in longevity. Conclusion: Stick to Pegasus Exclusif.

I enjoyed this more after letting it sit for a few months. I have to say the dry down is the best part. Reminds me of vanilla wafer cookies from my youth and pipe tobacco type vanilla. That's what it conjurs in my head. I will wear it with less aprehension from now on. It's been 3 months since I wore and reviewed this. I can confirm It has matured and changed . It's like the blend has had time to come together in a more balanced way. The drydown settles it into a nicer distributed fragrance. It's weird when you first spray it on because you feel the woods and sweets don't belong together. There's definitely a dirt earthy note (OUD is my negative wood in this...not a fan ) that stays but isn't as offensive these 3 months down the line. I had a similar experience with Fabulo Intense This goes on with an (OUD) dirty harsh wood note. Vanilla babypowder sweetness comes along for the ride. The woods are that dirty note. Whereas I found this really unpleasant the first time the woods are a bit smoother and less dirty ashtray like. I feel this is more evening oriented because it's thick syrupy seductive masculine. I got perseus from lahambra and it's like this but without the harsh OUD. I'm getting used to it but I have to sorta force myself to wear this one....and I spray it on lightly . The magic is all in the drydown but getting there is rough for me. I was huffing my wrist reading a few reviews and a Maple Syrup quality came up as an image. But that's something for us Canadians in the Great White North eh!! All jokes aside the vanilla sweet mixed with a woodiness compares well with the boiled down sap of maple trees...made outta wood. "Reminiscent "not "just like it". I would be curious if anyone else gets that type of association to the sugar notes. I'm less at odds with this than initially. It's just hard to get used to for me but I see the potential now. It's definitely it's own thing. Nothing else I have smells like this.

To my staggering surprise a co worker just said I smell good....that never happens. I'm a bit nose blind to it right now but go figure something I wasn't into garners a compliment. says it projects far too. I finally bit the bullet and wore this today. I'm not sure if I'm the only person who thinks this sprays on like a rancid ashtray with a sweetness. It goes on awful . On dry down the rancid ashtray becomes a spicy black licorice babypowder. It's complex enough if you huff it and detect different notes. It's got a woody resin to it as well. I don't hate it but I do hope the blend matures better....to be continued. original review below... This is a pre-emptive review that may be changed at a later date. I tested this in the box about a week ago and right there I was convinced that this must sit and mature a while. I tried it on my hand and strongly disliked this so far. It sprays on with a strong dirty ash tray and babywipe scent. It got this from fragrancebuy so it's a real deal product. Dry down brought the ashtray scent down but its a woody vanillic babywipe mess right now. I'm not usually turned off by a scent but this is a lot like Fabulo Intenso in that ashtray note and babywipes direction. Fabulo has lost some of that after sitting 2 months but I haven't worn it again. Blind buy for me along with Detour Noir that I really enjoy. Noir Intense would qualify as unsafe to blind buy IMO. .....to be continued but right now it's a gag worthy woody ashtray babywipe mess.

Another one of my fave pickups of 2024 and the more I wear it the more I like it as maceration has worked in its favor. Detour Noir Intense opens up very smooth with the almond but also a nice masculine touch of freshness with the lavender giving this almost an old school feel. As the scent dries down the almond comes out making this more creamy and there is also a nice smoky touch in here giving this some depth ! It’s a nice balance of creamy,smoky and clean and wow this stuff smells good in the air !! In the deep drydown it stays the same but the smokiness leaves but the creamy almond freshness remains. Again on my skin up close this is nice but in the air it’s just a beautiful mix of creamy,smoky and fresh accords that’s fairly mature and inviting. Performance on this is above average as it lasts 6-10 hours and has good sillage but only average projection. When I passed a little girl in T.J Maxx she said “I keep smelling Marshmallows “ which I’m assuming was me and if so I totally can see that 😂 Overall rating - 8 out of 10 !! Very solid and appealing smell that has great performance and is very unique

I'm very pleasantly surprised with how good this is. I have tested PDM Pegasus in stores. I have owned and went through a bottle of Armaf Craze. I have recently purchased and worn Alhambra Perseus. Detour Noir Intense is the most appealing to me than those other two. Yes, this is a clone of the Exclusif version of Pegasus, not the original. However, they are the same type of vanilla/almond woody scent. I found Craze to be good but very loud; Perseus is quite similar and more refined. I like this Detour Noir Intense the most because it feels like a "Parfum" version of those, as it has a smoother, richer almond scent combined with the vanilla and woods. Keep in mind this one leans more towards the oud/wood accord. Performance is great on all of these; this scent profile seems to project and lasts a while. For the money, DNI is the best of the cheapies in this category, so far. Haven't tried Alhambra Perseus Exclusif, yet.

This is what I wished Pegasus exclusif smelled like. The original has a very annoying, in your face almond note that this does not have. Who wants to smell like an almond and how do you dress complementing that? Anyway, obviously not as smooth as PDM. Intense Noir is strong and projects better than Noir exclusif, the only other detour fragrance I own currently. If you want to own something nice for yourself I'd say get the PDM, if you just care just for the smell I'd get this. They are very similar. For me I don't have to buy Pegasus exclusif again cause of this.

I changed my mind on this one....after several months this has lost its moody dark opening of desert musk and that delightful under the arabian stars feel and has turned into a mediocre strength and zero projection vanilla bland spice..........but it's still pretty good. Linear, doesn't do anything wrong but then doesn't do anything great either. If anyone can notice any difference between this and the original Detour Noir i would love to hear about it. I had both and honestly can't tell the difference after a few weeks, they smell and perform the same.

This is a pretty solid dupe of Pegasus Exclusif. Woody almond and vanilla. Fragrantica doesn’t have the full note break down once again. Because this definitely has the almond in it, even according to their website. So another fail by fragrantica here. It’s spicy, fresh, clean, woody and sweet. I definitely prefer this one over the original Pegasus. The performance is pretty good here too. Lasted over 12 hrs and projection has a decent scent bubble.

I have yet to experience Pegasus or Pegasus Exclusif. I had no baseline on what to expect. Was skeptical of the bitter almond. Yet, this is an easy wear. I did get a bit of a harsh opening (at least for now) on my first few wears. It doesn't last long. This turns into something very smooth and acceptable, IMO. Settles to a nice woody vanilla for me. Certainly punches above the price point.

This fragrance is dang near identical to Pegasus Exclusif from what I can remember from memory. Fragrance lasts all day, quality is amazing for the price. If you like Pegasus Exclusif give this a try. 2nd best in the new group of Detour fragrances in my opinion, and once again well worth the money. A vanilla that is sweet but turned masculine with some light dirty woods.

Its close to Pegasus exclusif. Not good oud notes but overall good and close to original. Has gotten me some compliments. Unique DNA. When I first got it, it smelled really bad. Smelled like straight dirt with chemicals on skin. 3 months later the chemical disgusting smell is gone and it smells good. Especially in mid to late dry down.

To my nose it is sweet, very sweet!! the almond and vanilla is there on the front. it's warm, cozy and very strong. I have no idea how close it is from the OG. Cold season on a date or such it is the occasion when it could shine. Also a couple of sprays are fine with me otherwise it gets cloying

I have to say this smells really amazing awesome scent but only enjoy it for about ten minutes then it's gone and I can't smell anything at all maybe I got a weak batch or it is strong and I can't smell it but others can I'm not sure but I sprayed a lot of it to get the scent and been around multiple people and not a single person said anything about it or compliment and nobody said anything even when I sprayed a lot on unless they are afraid to tell me idk yet I guess I will give it a little more time

Cheap, mild, easygoing and a little sweet with floral woody vanilla. But as some commenters mention below, I also get a sunscreen vibe from this and it ruins it for me. I don't dislike it, bit it's just ok in my book. Scent - 5/10 Performance - 7/10

This captures the overall vibe of Pegasus exclusif, which is a rich, bold, woody, smoky vanilla. I think that however, Pegasus exclusif smells much 'higher quality' and isn't as powdery as this scent. 5.6/10 imo

Opening is really off. I mean it's good overall, longevity is really good too. If you like Pegasus you will love this, Definitely do not blind buy.

Everyone has their own taste in perfumes and what they enjoy. Based on the notes, the description, and all the praise this fragrance has received here in the comments, I honestly expected more from it. I’m a big lover of Detour Noir and Gold Edition / Aqua Dubai I absolutely enjoy those and when it comes to Al Haramain perfumes, I’ve never felt disappointed with a purchase... except for L’Aventure Knight and now this one. When I first sprayed it, I think this was the only time ever, that I sprayed a fragrance on myself and immediately put the bottle away in my closet. I do not like it at all. I can’t even fully describe what it smells like or what to compare it to. It’s sweet and creamy, but in a way that feels very old fashioned. It gives me old grandpa vibes not the familiar sharp, bitter kind of old school cologne, but more like the scent of an old, dusty house. I barely pick up any vanilla. To me, it comes across as chalky, creamy, sweet, and outdated. It doesn’t smell masculine, it doesn’t smell attractive it just doesn’t work for me. I don’t like bashing perfumes, but if I had to rate this, I’d give it a 2/10. Maybe it needs to sit and macerate for a while, but as it is right now, I can’t see myself enjoying it, or even finishing the bottle. A lot of people are praising it in the comments, which made me believe this would be a fantastic fragrance, but unfortunately, it’s probably one of my least favorite purchases of the past year. When it comes to projection and sillage, it definitely lasts a while. I’ve sprayed it before going to bed, and when I woke up, I could still smell it on me. In terms of longevity, I’d say it easily lasts a solid six to eight hours, maybe even a bit more. As for sillage, I’m not completely sure yet since I haven’t worn it outside or for a longer period of time, so I can’t fully judge how it performs in the open air or around other people.

Clone Time (after 4 months of home maceration) PDM Pegasus Exclusif - 95%. Senior, Mature Gentlemen-Unisex with a dark note - almond vanilla. - Niche - smell for the winter nights. To wear a dark suite and formaities- not for the office. Not my cup of tea - it is too intense and you need to be in the dark sweet, stickiness. Yes it is a 95% clone - I smelled side-side several days. Really recommend to try before you buy. Performance: 10+ hours Sillage: Strong Projector For whom: Unisex >50 My background: I only write reviews about scents I have worn already (until the bottle is finished) or are in current use. I'm a Gentlemen - middle aged - predominantly in an executive office environment wearing suits and representing with many official gatherings

Another curiosity blind buy due to all the hype around this frag. I really tried to like this but it just doesn't do it for me. I'm not sure what it is that makes me dislike it but I think it's the almond mixed with the woods. I'm not sure if this is one of those frags that needs slot of maceration but as of now this isn't good at all. In conclusion: This is NOT a safe blind buy at all. I strongly advise you to sample this first because for me this is " scrub off worthy". This is probably the third bottle in my collection that I can't wear at all no matter how many chances I give it. Sorry ,this is just not for me.... At all!.

It is very spicy and almond with vanilla. It is very cloying, but it gets better with maturation. I think it is nowhere as good as the og and the bottle looks/feels awful. 4/10

Al Haramain's Detour Noir Intense might indeed become an unusually intense pleasure, ...but only for those that enjoy both pepper and powder ...together. There is a gradual sloping linearity to this, more pepper at the start, more powder in the drydown. ...but both elements are always present. The listed notes claim pink pepper, ...but I find this closer to black (Piper nigrum). The powder is infused with nuances of heliotrope, almond, and vanilla. There is also some nondescript amberwood at the base, ...of course. That's about it. The listed notes have likely been altered to more closely resemble PDM's Pegasus. This is what I mean about dupes being an issue of marketing, not perfumery. As for actual comparisons, I have sampled Pegasus; this is not that. I might have sampled Pegasus Exclusif. I don't remember. I know haven't tried anything else in the Detour Noir line. The listed notes for each look quite different, ...but as I said, notes often become insincere deceits meant to drive the marketing narrative. Don't worry too much about all that. Just enjoy this for what it is. ...but I repeat, you must love (black) pepper and (sweet) powder, or the deal is off. Edit Update: I recently sampled Pegasus Exclusiv. It is quite different and more complex than the regular Pegasus, with added notes of cardamom and smoky (oud) wood that do add some pungency comparable in intensity with that of Detour Noir Intense, ...but still noticeably different from the latter's pepperiness. still, overall, the claims of similarity between the two appear reasonably valid.

During the first 5 to 10 minutes, it smells deeper, heavier, and creamier than the original. At this stage, the similarity to the original is about 65%. As time passes, the similarity keeps increasing. After around 15 minutes, it reaches about 85% , and it continues until it becomes around 90% similar to the original. This is when smelling with focus. Without focusing, the similarity is roughly 95% after the first 10 to 15 minutes. It is good, but too close to the original. However, the quality here is noticeably better than Zimaya, and even its effect on breathing is better. I ordered a bunch of cheap, fun perfumes over the past month, and they all happened to arrive this week, so I'm kind of flooding the zone here. I've never smelled the original Pegasus, and I don't care, bc this is wonderful as a standalone scent. I had wondered how all those sweet notes could possibly be masculine, but the powdery and almond notes are very cool-toned and the vanilla is very present but not very sweet. It smells fresh and green and slightly mentholic on top, but you'll find yourself wanting to keep sniffing bc there's a faint but deep, addictive sweetness to it. (This description might gross you out, but trust me, it's delicious: imagine Carmex in a fancy cologne format.) I originally got it for my bf to try, but I like it so much I'm getting my own ugly-ass bottle

I find this just okay-- it's vanillic and sweet but slightly herbal and bitter in a green-ish kind of way, even if the florals are not that strong. The almond is very prominent and it's a decent pairing together with the heliotrope. It's a littlle bit play-doughy and dry -- and up close, the bitter smell is a lot stronger than from further away. It's a very mature smell but I find it well balanced and worth the money, but it's definitely not for everyday wear. I kind of took a 180 on this -- this dark green, sweet but bitter scent profile is totally sickening and is definitely not for me. Luckily, it was very cheap so I didn't lose out a lot on buying it. It'll be donated or sold shortly.

So i've had this about 3.5 months now, and wow there is a lot going on. Unfortunately, I still get a very prominent sunscreen smell. Reading the other reviews, I really am considering I got a fake (amazon mixed inventory). I get very slight vanilla, but it smells like I opened my spice cabinet on a sunscreen base :(. No amber, no almond, no woods, and no florals (unless they are adding to the sunscreen smell). This seems like a very complex frag, so im fine with giving it more time. Will update. I would not recommend blind buying.

Gatekeepers are funny buggers, and here are fully at work. I never tried the original but this smells great and I'm fully happy. The bottle is awkward yes but who cares, the cap is light plastic and I care even less, the atomiser is pressurised and first quality. Thumbs up from me. Blind buy safe unless your collection is Nautica Voyage and Joop.

After the maceration it becomes very similar to pgs exc.But I’m not sure about this fragrance if I wear.Very masculine vibes.Idk where to use ts it’s just not useful.So,if you like unique fragrances and you like almond scents you can give a chance to this frgrnc

To me it smells like Prada l'homme EDP. Very long lasting and masculine scent. I even smelled it a b it after i showered.

Has Detour Noir Intense now been discontinued? Can only find it on ebay.
