Junoon Oud

I love citrus frags but they're notorious for not having good longevity. When I saw the notes to this scent, it had me scratching my head, but a YT vlogger I follow suggested Junoon Oud as a dupe for Vibrato Sospiro and so I knew I had to try it. NOW I get the other notes in this citrus scent and see how they create this really unique and powerful dynamic quality, and sure enough, they've created a fragrance with beast mode performance and longevity. The patchouli isn't blended that well at first but once the scent dries a bit, all the notes come together in harmony and create a powerful, dynamic, and balanced scent. There's also a spiciness to it that I'm attributing from the palisander rosewood. It's notorious for having many facets to it besides woody notes. This scent is so strong, I originally had on Atomic Rose and this beast outperformed it and created a scent bubble around me and projected out heavier and further than it! It is perfectly unisex and I wouldn't say it leans either way since it carries a balance of both fem and masculine qualities. I also kept getting whiffs of something unexpected from JO which created all these different facets for the scent. I really love the musk used here-it creates such an interesting depth to JO and helps to weave many of the notes together and create different layers within the scent, with its individual ties within the scent itself. I am thoroughly impressed. This is 2 for 2 so far on the Junoon line. I can't wait to try Junoon Rose and see it's interpretation of Blossom Love.

Honestly no idea where some reviewers are sourcing their Junoon Oud from. This stuff is Fantastic! I owned Alexandria Black Panther. Was one of my favourite frags, until I tried this on a recommendation from a Youtuber. The initial blast is slightly off putting, can't lie. But within a minute of settling down you start to get it. Black Panther lasts around 7 hours and it's projection is on the softer side. Comparatively, Junoon oud smells more like a brighter Grapefruit punch and lasts an easy 9 hours out the box. Projection is a level above it too. It was a bittersweet farewell to the Alexandria, Al-Haramain smashed it out the park here. 8.6/10

Such a good dupe of sospiro’s vibrato. They are a little different in the opening but the dry down is very similar and for the price, the Junoon Oud is a steal. This is definitely a beast mode fragrance, very unusual for a citrus that actually retains the citrus fragrance throughout.

I prefer this to Tygar especially when you factor in price. The OG has a simple dna but done well. This on the other hand has a woody backbone supporting the grapefruit and musk. Performance is excellent and this scent has gotten me lots of compliments.

This is closer to Vibrato than Tygar in my opinion. I love this dna and this is by far the best dupe I tried. Quality is very good, presentation is nice and it’s longlasting. I love the vibrant opening and the sweet drydown. Yes this is a winner.

This is really close to Vibrato and for a decent price, you get some high quality stuff right here. Longlasting and decent sillage. Best clone i've bought in a while. 9/10

I absolutely love this fragrance it’s very fresh and beautiful it reminds me of Rosso Pompei by Tiziana Terenzi definitely worth purchasing you won’t be disappointed.

good clone of tygar got 2 compliments 9 hours after applying it so longevity is great. Gotta let it macerate the first few weeks tho.

Bright opening, good quality. Terre d'Hermès DNA, same vibe to Montale vetiver sensuel.

This smells about 90% similar to Tygar, the grapefruit is a lot earthier, maybe due to the patchouli and woody notes. The jasmine combines to make this experience a lot more “thicker” and dense than Tygar, however I find my Tygar performs better. Tygar is more sparkly, ethervescent, Tygar has a better sillage and for me, Tygar lasts longer on my skin. The projection isn’t as loud, but it lingers, the sillage is fantastic, you get noticed when you walk past people, and it lingers longer towards the end of the day. But taking into consideration the price?! Junoon Oud is a no brainer. I have it to wear when I don’t want to use my Tygar.

Nope! This is a very nice fragrance, but it’s masculine. I sometimes like unisex scents, but this is solidly masculine. I bought it because an influencer said it was similar to Vibrato, and some months back a different influencer was raving about vibrato and how everyone loved it on her. Managed to sell it and get my money back, but I must say I’m over the middleastern hype. I’ve tried quite a few fragrances now, and they have all but one been fails. I’m mainly talking about the dupe houses like this one, though I know there are amazing original houses.

Very solid cologne overall! Gives off a Bleu De Chanel EDP mixed with tart Grapefruit vibe. Smells a little sour and pungent at first but that note goes away after about 30 minutes and you're left with a sweet, woody, citrusy, blue and refreshing grapefruit scent that reminds me of that subtle woody citrusy sweetness that BDC (EDP specifically) has. Very versatile cologne with solid projection and longevity (4-7 hours)!

I really like this fragrance, bought is as dupe for Sospiro Vibrato but this has no sillage at all. I get anosmic to it after it is sprayed but can smell on my clothes the next day i put them on. You have to massively overspray so i wont repurchase and will get sospiro instead

It's a nice scent with decent sillage. It's an unisex bright citrusy fragrance for a hot summer. Rather linear and lasts around 5 hours. I thought the projection is not great but my husband told me he can still smell it when I leave the room :-)

Love this fragrance as I wanted something like vibrato but not for that price. I overspray this massively and barely smell it after half an hour. Will probably invest in vibrato after this bottle is finished

Nice bright, woody citrus. Needs some time to develop and mellow on the shelf.

Not an oud (as the name suggests) and not feminine (as the other 3 fragrances from this collection), not even unisex as it is marketed. This is a very masculine scent, similar vibe to Intense by Issey Miyake, but with less complexity. It's woody, but most of all it's grapefruit and patchouli. A lot of them. The opening is citrusy-sharp like some heavy cleaner (and it stays there for a long time) and patchouli is never far behind. The middle notes are completely suffocated. For me, it is a poorly balanced fragrance. I think they must have realized this too, since they have relaunched a fragrance with the same pyramid (but with more accent on the middle notes and patchouli toned down) few years later - and as a fragrance for women - LouLou Joy. Still, I think this is not a very elegant scent for women with the grapefruit being just too harsh (bergamot would have been better in my opinion). And it certainly doesn't match the stylish bottle here. On the positive side, the concentration of oils is very high as this has way above average projection and longevity. You can still smell it on your skin the next day. I think it needs to be layered with a complementary fragrance (able to smooth the harsh edges) of similar strength to be wearable. I found Royal Blend Sequoia does the trick for me and I really enjoy the result. Suitable for colder seasons.

I get very strong laundry detergent vibe. Not bad smelling but not for me.
