L'Aventure Fraiche

Very beautiful scent. Good right out of the box. First day got about 6 hours of longevity but that was with a light spray on my wrist. There is no synthetic smell, it's smooth right from the opening. I'm pleased with this purchase and am now considering picking up a bottle of Ciel. This is a great warm/hot weather fragrance. However could see someone using this as a signature scent too. I like others here picked this up at Burlington. This has a nice pressurized atomizer with excellent distribution. Al Haramain rarely misses and they nailed this one too. Compared to CDN Sillage which smells synthetic and has a harsh opening this is refined and elegant. Has good projection for the first 2-3 hours and then settled down to a skin scent by hour 6-7. I'll revisit this in a few weeks and update this as I have experienced an improvement in projection/longevity with other Al Haramain perfumes after some maturation.

Never smelled SMW, so can't comment comparison. This is great!! Fresh, green, aromatic scent and bright. I heard SMW was made out of the memories of the perfumer sking in the alps and the cold crisp air with packed snow. I can totally see that, could be an all year round scent. I like it in the cold (currently 15 degrees F here). But I was surprised to see a green extrait l'aventure at burlington for $40. Had to get it, love it. Some say SMW or CDN Sillage has an ink type smell, I do not get that in this fragrance at all. If you like green scents, clean, fresh out of shower, I guess SMW too get this!! Harsh start, but settles into something very nice for a mature man. Not for kids. Nice for a hike around nature. Long lasting and projects like a beast. Way better after a couple of months. No more harsh start, just nice all the way...

Creamy, fruity, fresh. Longevity could be better, but not terrible for a fragrance like this. Haven't smelt SMW but this is great stuff - uplifting and fun.

This smells of an old persons house or nursing home.

Pretty nice Apparently something like silver mountain water or something. Opening is kinda meh but the dry down is very nice. It last a long time on clothes I have a test shirt and i sprayed 3 times on the same spot still smells pretty discernibly after 3 days. You obviously need to get close but it's not a weak concentration of oils. Also left oil stains so avoid white or clothing that will make it obvious. Stays a fresh, not sweet, not really woody but more aquatic airy Ozone scent as the dry down.

Like many other reviewers, I picked this up as a blind buy from Burlington. It is a unisex (slightly masculine leaning) fresh, citric tea scent. I absolutely love the freshly showered vibe that doesn't come across too barber shop-y. It's perfect for Spring/Early Summer and is surprisingly sophisticated without smelling too mature. This was definitely a successful blind buy for me and I would absolutely repurchase it.

This is pretty good. I have a bottle of Silliage and think that it smells much better, but this performs like a beast. Its loud and lasts for hours. Its not really close to SMW, but if you are looking for a super cheap freshy, this will satisfy that itch. I am not sure why there are two of them in this series. Ill give Blanche a try when this wears off.

I've read that this flanker is a greener and fresher take on Silver Mountain Water. It is very fresh, with a more "retro" bitter Bergamot/Lemon opening, and a more modern Tea/Violet leaf/Cardamom dry-down. Good performance for such a fresh fragrance, and perhaps more suited to mature people. Very nice.

It's mostly heavy tea and musk, really. Not bad, and yet I had to give it away. With all due respect, to me this smells like an old person living on a nursing home. Comes out clean and fresh, nevertheless Al Haramain's L'Aventure Fraiche definitely leans vintage. I'd rather stick to their more modern and polished fragrances like L'Aventure Intense with its prominent lemon-bergamot punchiness.

The same issue for me as with Club de Nuit Intense Man. Something sour, spoiled, wrong. Disgusting.

Yes, Silver Mountain Water...But This is definitely not the same, it's sorta a SMW dna and with a Twist but the Dna is definitely there. In fact it opens so well, smells so good, that I think it's better than SMW especially for Singapore's weather and climate. Very well balanced..I thought I did get a tiny bit of GIT dna in the opening as well but after half an hour, it wasn't it, perhaps it was the violet leaf giving my olfactory senses the wrong idea. I get the ginger, the cardamon and the tea seems there. This Fraiche isn't a Fraiche concentration, it's an Extrait de Parfum. The bottle has a reflective front and will be a fingerprint magnet. Rubbery Cap which isn't ideal as heat and humidity over time may cause it to be sticky. L'Aventure boxes are at least better than your cardboard boxes. All these are just presentation. The real deal is the Juice. Very impressed with Fraiche. It doesn't open harsh or synthetic like. As I mentioned, very well balanced. Great smell with SMW dna and a very good twist to it to make it possibly even better than SMW. It will last you easily 8-10 hours for longetivity. I'm also impressed with the Ciel as that also smell great and is a MI (without the salty vibe) and GIT alternative with a twist. Both great release by Al haramain under L'Aventure. Makes me want to get the Iris and Grapefruit to try now. If you can get this around 40 usd will be a great buy. One of the better ME scents I have gotten lately.

I agree with FragranceDewd (and most of the other reviewers) that L'Aventure Fraîche is beautiful, although it has one key drawback, which I'll get to in a moment. It opens with a gorgeous whiff of bergamot, lemon, and here's the interesting spin that Al Haramain put on this scent DNA: Pine. There's a very subtle hint, the merest whisper of pine in Creed's Silver Mountain Water, so the fact that someone took that note and enhanced it is both original and compelling in this particular clone. Well done, mystery perfumer, well done! Eventually the drydown arrives, a simple construct of the top notes (which "tighten" into a more abstract accord over time), with green tea, ginger, and violet leaf added to the mix. Five hours later, the base arrives, and here's where the problem arises. You see, Club de Nuit Sillage did this the right way, where most other clones fail to. Armaf didn't just use Ambroxan and white oud and hope for the best. They crafted a mini perfume-within-a-perfume, and added a unique salty sea-spray accord to complement the Ambroxan, which in turn makes it smell a heck of a lot closer to vintage SMW than any other clone on the market. L'Aventure Fraîche does what most clones do, however, and simply hopes that a funky Arabian black ambergris note will do. It's not enough, and the far drydown winds up smelling unnecessarily sour and a little like a dirty comb. One demerit for an unfinished base, but otherwise, this is absolutely a good clone of SMW, more natural than most, and worthy to add to your collection if you love this scent DNA as much as I do.

Picked this up at Burlington like some others on here. This was a total blind buy and I’m so glad I got it! It’s such a smooth, fresh, citrus, spring/summer scent that I could see myself using often. It actually smells expensive like alot of other Al Haramain. I’m curious to see how it macerates over time (even though it smells good straight out the box). It doesn’t last very long, but scents like these usually don’t so I’m not that pressed about it. Does not disappoint (especially for $40). UPDATE: 2 weeks of maceration and if I liked it 2 weeks ago, I REALLY like it now! Smells like a citrus, ginger tea. There’s a sweetness that almost smells like honey (even though there isn’t any in the notes) and it’s just blossomed to a great fragrance. Can’t wait to see what it smells like in a few more weeks!

Got it today. I picked it up for a trip to Mexico. I want something fresh that could also last a bit in the heat. I applied it at home and it smelled familiar but I couldn't quite figure it out at first. After a few hours I re-applied it and then it instantly brought to focus what was familiar... it's opening is very similar to Lacoste Essential, which I also own but haven't used in a while. Now I'm debating on whether or not I actually need this since the Lacoste Essential could do the same job. Nonetheless, I'll give it a full wearing to see if anything about it changes enough (for me) to warrant keeping it. It might be obvious that I enjoy the scent since it's reminiscent of one that I already own.

Cool and unique green bottle, Definitely in the same ballpark as SMW. But sadly, weak as water... lasts like 2 hours, and is a skin scent almost immediately. I also have Armaf Derby Clubhouse Blanch, and Rasasi Entebaa, and those both smell similar and perform 10x better...

I'm happy to have found this hidden gem. I'm glad this isn't hyped because I like to know that i dont smell like smell like everyone else. If you find this buy it without hesitation.

i got it for 28 dollars and from what ive understand its a great deal i will get it by the weekend and i need to try smw and i hope it will be like the reviews
