L'Aventure Intense

Trying both the original and intense versions side by side. There is a difference. After hearing some speculation whether or not the regular and intense were the same thing but repackaged or some other nonsense I can happily say, you WILL be able to tell them apart side by side. I wish they made the bottle black or done something a bit more to tell them apart. It feels like when you go to a 90s yard sale and someone put prices on everything with a label maker. Alright you know Aventus DNA, He does, she does, her mother knows it. What's the difference? The "standard version" has a more lively citrus, When I smell it up close on my wrist it can get a bit sour. The "intense version" is darker, the citrus is more refined instead of going all over the place. The citrus has this almost spicy quality to it with a sweet undertone. It's got more depth as well. By the dry down I am very slightly reminded of Dior Homme 2020 so to me that's a good thing. Either way Intense is better scent to me. Both are really nice fragrances. You'll surely get complements from considering there's what feels like 9999999 copies of Aventus so they must be doing something right.. However. Intense would be my pick if I was in a perfume store and I got to smell both on different wrists. Up close you will tell them apart. However I feel most won't be able to when you're out in public, walking by someone. Most won't be able to if you had the "standard" or "intense" version on. It feels updated where they took something I didn't like about the standard L'Adventure and improved on it as that was a huge reason I never bothered buying my own bottle of L'Adventure was the sourness up close. Even if my brother didn't bathe in two 100ml bottles of the standard version over the past 5 years and it wasn't a new fragrance sort of excitement I'd still prefer intense. longevity and projection felt about the same. To me it's like L'Adventure 2 or something. I would not buy this expecting double the performance of an already beast mode (to me anyways) fragrance. Put some scent free lotion on before you spray the place(s) and or double the sprays if you want the fragrance to be twice as loud and long lasting. If not drink plenty of water. There's plenty of tricks to get fragrances to last longer assuming we're not nose blind to them. You know you're doing it right when your neighbors knock on your door. Is it worth owning both? I'd say no. They aren't $200-400 overpriced niche fragrances so if you're a collector go for it. Only one L'Adventure I haven't liked of the 4 I've tried so far and that's the standard white version for men.

I bought this after much research. I spent some time in the Middle East and have found that they have some lesser known gems in the fragrance world. And the price point is a good buy. My nose makes out the upfront citrus of the bergamot and lemon with woody notes. It is a very nice Summer and warm weather fragrance and very work safe. For me the performance isn't as up to par as the voting suggests. I only get a few hours before I need to reapply and the sillage is just moderate for me. I have heard it is compared to Aventus. I have never smelled Aventus but have a tester of the Aventus for Her. It is nothing amazing nor did its performance justify 300-400 price point. If you have ever had a 3 digit priced bottle of wine you may find it tastes amazing. But not so much more so than others that are under $50 even $30 that are well crafted and delicious and most often indistinguishable to the 3 digit bottles to the common palate. The law of diminishing returns outweighs my need to have Aventus. Maybe I’ll get to test it someday. Scent: 8/10 Performance: 8/10 Price: 7/10

Personally I think this scent is amazing and one of the best clones out there that I have tried, I would highly recommend! I have both the original and the intense and they smell virtually identical with perhaps minute differences. I prefer the intense though, why? Well because it's more intense! lol...I find the intense version a fuller slightly denser scent with a tiny bit more smokiness and I find the citrus a little darker and better done than the original. Performance is excellent! The only negative I can find with this scent is that it is easy to go nose blind from it. Long after I think it has died down or worn off I will keep getting compliments hours later. Damn I wish I could smell it because I absolutely love this scent. For the people that say this isn't close enough to Aventus , I don't care if it is or isn't I would still buy this either way. I don't have a huge collection, I have around maybe 20 bottles but if I could only keep 3 this would definitely be one of them!

I have version with the black plastic written on it "Intense". Using it for a month and i love it, especially the dry down, or the day after when i take the same shirt its hard for me to go for another scent, coz than is when you really feel the drydown, and im like "yea i want more of this" (because you are getting very easy nose blind to this scent). Longevity is good, projection, im not sure coz as i said is very easy to go nose blind to this one. Also need a little bit of warm to shine. I have tested the normal version few times, and i think the difference is that the intense is little bit more dense and a bit more fruity , also the citrus goes for the whole life span of the scent. EDIT: Im starting to think that performance are not that good after all 9/10. I Like it more than, CDNI EDP, Explorer, Way more than Afnan NOI. I got this for 40e, worth every penny. Its similar to the old version of Zara Vibrant Leather.

I'm curious if the people complaining of poor performance are simply becoming anosmic to this fragrance. I have one of the new batch bottles with the "Intense" sticker - and today I wore 3 sprays total - which completely filled a 25x50 ft PT gym. I had no idea how strong I was projecting until a woman standing 15 feet away from me commented on how good it smelled, 2 hours after I had sprayed. I was also getting wiffs 10+ hours after I sprayed. As for the smell, it is the most accurate Aventus clone I've smelled. It's a pretty spot on copy of a fruitier batch of Aventus. Despite it's strength, it has a bit of a "softness" to the smell, and is extremely pleasant and easy going. Compare this to CDNIMs' screaming loud lemon opening, it is much less attention grabbing - maybe this is why people think it is weak? Regardless, I'm really digging this one, one of the best 30ish dollars I've spent on a fragrance.

I was skeptical about buying this but later on gave it a try since I got a extreme good deal. Al Haramain finally got rid of some chemicals from the original that used to burn my skin after applying. This juice is a no joke! The sillage is not overwhelming (I'm fine with it) but it triumphs every clone of KING in the longevity even KING. The most important thing is how I love to sniff my shirt even after a long (north of 10 hours) humid day. Surprisingly it contains the fruitiness of the original L'aventure but successfully achieved to bring the smokiness which was missing in the original. Must try if you have ever smelled KING in your lifetime knowingly or unknowingly and was surprised what was that! Overall 8.5/10 Longevity: 9.5/10 Sillage: 7.5/10 Performance: 9/10

I went to one of their shops today in the Emirates and compared the regular and the Intense. I got to know these perfumes recently so I don’t know how they were before. The guys at the shop told me that the main difference was perfomance. Smelling the two side by side, the Instense opens... well... more intense, it has more power. But then on the dry-down they share the same notes, it just seems you sprayed them with 2 hours of difference, as the intensity difference remains. Still, I do not think the intense is too loud, or too exaggerated if you spray carefully, it just seems what you would expect from a EDP. I love it and I brought it home. After testing a few CA inspired perfumes this is the one I prefer, as it seems the most rounded and natural to me.

I have L'aventure OG and L'aventure intense. There is no comparison!! The intense version blows the original version out the waters. L'aventure intense hits you with a fruity-citrusy lemony scent. The 🍋 lemony remains throughout the life of the scent. It drys down to a woody/birch scent. L'aventure intense performs very well. It last 8 hours on my skin and longer on clothes. This is a worthy buy imo. I am a fan of L'aventure intense.👌 Edited: 4/27/24 L'aventure Intense gets better with time. It took 6-7 months before it started to perform and smell better and balanced. Now it is amazing!! Same for the original L'aventure. It took 9-10 months before it started to perform and smell balanced.

These bottles with the stickers in them are still potent & do last a good 6 to 8 hours on my skin. I go nose blind after 1 hour, but my wife can still smell it on me 6 hours later & 8th hour it is a skin scent. You need to do a few sprays & let this macerate for at least 1 month. 6 months later this is at its even more maturity. I believe that some reviewers out there have made a good few people think that this is a magical formula that radiates & fills a room for hours on end, but no, this is still a fragrance & it does outstrip Aventus in longevity & does smell brilliant on my skin. Best value for money against other clones out there.

L'Aventure Intense is definitely much more cirtusy and lemondry straight from the opening. I have Aventus decants and full bottle and I'm testing the LAI with 19S41 batch of Aventus. You'll still get the differences due to the citrusy and lemondry LAI compared with the smokey pineapple in Aventus, especially on skin. That's the main differences other than Aventus smelling better quality and the LAI can be synthetic to some. I still prefer the Cdnim LE since it's also fruity smokey. However for Singapore $45+- anyone can just use this sparingly overspraying as compared to the more treasured Aventus bottle.

It's a good scent.. nothing wow but last longer than aventus.. good for autumn and summer. Longevity is definitely not as people have voted. On skin it's 4hour and after 4 it slowly fade away. About 6 hour and there is no scent of it left... Last probably 8+hours on clothes but I haven't try it yet.. overall 7/10 Waiting for summer to come and I will give it another shot.. maybe will last longer in a higher heat. I do recommend this over aventus for sure, you can blind buy this due to its price and it is pleasant for everyone around you. Everyone will like it but not everyone will love it.

Clone Time: Creed Aventus - I have the feeling this is even a bit stronger, solid scent structure which will last you 7-10 hrs. It is strong. Solid Wear. Great wear for warmer weather. (Review after 4 months of Maceration ... Great!) I would buy it again. Just to settle things, this is in fact much better than CDNIM. I have the CDNIM edt, edp, and parfum oil, I even bought another edt bottle because I thought I had a bad batch. This is better and better performing than any of the CDNIMs I’ve tried and smells better than the edt and edp. The oil smells best with amped up vanilla and more natural citrus but it doesn’t perform. This overall smells more natural than the edt/edp and you can perceive more of the listed notes, with the Armaf I just get lemon cleaner and smoke that smells like a house fire rather than birch or wood smoke.

This and Armaf CDNIM Limited Edition are currently the two best Aventus clones on the market. I had the original L'Aventure which was also good, but the performance was only decent. They definitely fixed it with a more Intense formula as the name suggests. This is basically your fruity batch of Aventus while the Armaf Limited Edition is the more smokey batch. I find layering them together leads to the all around greatest results. Performance is easily 16 hours or possibly more because I've usually showered and fallen asleep while the juice is still going. Great buy.

@Infevo If you get a fishy opening, you more likely got a fake Afnan Supremacy Not Only Intense. It happened to me too, when I ordered from Notino, but with a different Afnan product (Turathi Blue). You should get your perfumes from a legit store / website. I have This and Supremacy NOI as well. I enjoy the hell out of both. They are insanely great perfumes and I love their smells and performance. I don't have any "fishy" opening scent as you. BTW, once I ordered Turathi Blue from a different store, I know why many people loved Turathi Blue.

Best citrus fragrance in my collection, on par with Dolce & Gabbana's classic Pour Homme EDT minus the wood background (replaced by musk). If you like lemon/bergamot this is your number one choice. Potency, however, is a bit disappointing: expect anywhere between two to three hours of decent performance and sillage. Reapply as needed. Great for hot summer days... Update: wore L'Aventure Intense for a bday party at a bar and got complimented by both a male and female friend within two hours of applying it. It does get noticed!

I have this for over a month and I have thus trying for a time now. Today I have been wearing it from 9am and it is now 9 pm. I applied 2 wiffs to the back of my neck and from 2 to each side behind my ear and it is still very much alive, very nice blended and for its price which by now has doubled, I have no complains. I don't compare it with Aventus but I find it a very wearable, for every occasion scent

I own 2 bottles of Aventus, 1 bottle of CDIM edp. To me this is the best clone I've smelled. Yes, Creed is awesome but I'm not ever buying another bottle. This one has good performance, but this dna does seem to lend itself to noseblindness. Creed does it too. 100ml for 40 bucks shipped is a great deal if you want an Aventus clone. I'm super happy with it!

Woody fresh and a little hint of citrus. Close enough to aventus creed. If you’re looking for a cheap way to get aventus creed this is the closest one. More mature than the playful aventus creed. More suitable for 40+ of age because of it’s mid musky and Mediterranean scent. I suggest research for other alternative if you want something younger scent.

If you are looking for an Aventus clone, this one is the best. Its longevity is much better than CDNI (haven't tried the Limited Edition) and smells too close to Aventus. CDNI's opening is much better than any other clone but this smells better when everything settles down. I can easily give 8.5/10 (or maybe even 9 for the price). Safe for blind buy.

I had Armaf's CDNIM limited edition before I bought this. These two are really close, except CDNIM LE has slightly richer florals in mids But still, both of them are near perfect clones to Creed Av. which I'd unblantly say are much better deal than typical Creed rip-offs Edit: Box & Bottle are nice, meticulously designed & crafted, I love them

Its a dupe alright this fragrance has much more depth to it and much mature i love it! To my skin the longevity 8-9 hrs or more bec. I got nose blind and the Sillage arm length. got compliments 3x when i 1st wear this. The nxt day you can still smell the perfume on your shirt still strong. all in all its a 10/10 for me. 👍👍👍

I thing the opposite, i got Decants of CDNI EDT and EDP and bootle of this. I like this more. They a similar, but citruses a bit different and the smokiness, at the CDNI smokiness is a bit leathery and dusty, while at this is more woody and tingling kind of.

Very good, smells more pine heavy and masculine but 95% close to the real. Pretty bad longevity but I would say similar to Aventus. I haven't let it macerate yet so we'll see if it get's any better.

This is my favorite Aventus dupe! It’s a little smoother then CDNIM, I like to add a few spritz of this on top of my CDNIM and it smooths it out a bit! Great blind buy for me!

This is still so good. Yes it's linear, but it lasts longer than any formulation of cdnim, and is fresh and jucy for hours. Great on its own, great for layering.

I have an older bottle of this, and a newer bottle of Aventus, and they are very close, closer than any other dupe I tried. They also both perform the same.

Pure, clean fruity fresh and long lasting. Really nice to layer with higher priced parfums to help longevity

A 10/10 aventus inspired fragrance. Arguably the best one out there.

I really like this one. Almost as much as my CDNIM Parfum LE. L'Aventure Intense certainly is more woody and less fruity/zesty. It is not as loud but it could be due to a higher concentration as it is quite a shiny oil on skin and has only 75% alcohol which is 25% more oils than the usual 80% alcohol fragrances. Very pleasant and refined scent profile. Nothing that sticks out as a nuisance (unlike with Afnan Supremacy Silver and Not Only Intense that come off fishy in the opening and aren't as pleasant DNAs). CDNIM, again, is not as woody but its birch's smokiness is much more interesting to me. Also the fruity citrus opening of CDNIM is really energizing. L'Aventure is more laid back and linear. I see how L'Aventure could be the more reliable blend if you look for something for formal settings. My 2022 Aventus is sweeter, more elusive and lighter than both CDNIM and L'Aventure but also is less intense, does not project and does not last at all. (Sure, no need to put into perspective how well priced this is. But let's be honest. If you want to smell like Aventus, there probably is no other option than buying the original. All this "clone" talk is a pure joke to me at this point and I have tried plenty of so called "dupes". None of them smell like Aventus. Hell, there are even people who claim that chromatography would allow to perfectly identify and imitate the molecular structure and blend of Aventus. It's just ludicrous. What's the point of having a scent reminding you of something you'd rather wear? Especially when it only reminds you 20% of the drydown of your preferred fragrance and is a nuisance otherwise. I paid more for my Aventus "dupes" at this point than for my 100ml Aventus at this point. Luckily, I enjoy some of those cheaper fragrances a lot. But imagine spending so much on cheapies in search for a proper substitute and ending up with nothing but a life lesson you would not accept others teaching you. And I cannot blame anyone. There are a lot of incompetent people reviewing fragrances and drawing similarities. People find similarities to popular scent DNAs all the time due to limited experience and references. Everyone knows how Dior Sauvage EdT smells like. Does that make every ambroxan based fragrance a Sauvage clone? For a while that's what one might have thought (Luna Rossa Carbon *cough*). Worst case that could happen going through these cheapies, however, is ruining one of your favorite fragrances in the process. Afnan Supremacy NOI almost ruined my beloved Hacivat for me because there are striking parallels but ASNOI is not capable to tame and balance the oak moss properly. In fact, it's borderline disgusting to me.)

Okay, I'm not going to compare this to Aventus. I have never smelled Aventus. I have smelled Club de nuit Intense man (CDNIM) in both edt and edp, Afnan Supremacy Silver, Zara vibrant leather, Mont Blanc Explorer, and London by English Laundry. This one has a bright and juicy opening that completely avoids the lemon pledge opening of the CDNIM edt. The opening also seems to persist longer. I am writing this about an hour and a half after spraying and I would say that I am still firmly in the opening. Its clean like Zara but with more pineapple than lemon. It's not as loud as CDNIM, kind of like Explorer, but with more juciness. Perfect for office wear. If you're into layering, this is the perfect pineapple prince to combine with Tommy Bahama set sail St. Bart's for a juicy Pina Colada experience that is hard not to dig your nose into and huff like an addict. The more subdued smoke let's the tequila and lime shine through and the effect is mesmerizing. The mix is so nice that I decant these two into a third bottle so that I can be more controlled with the sprays (8 parts L'aventure to 7 parts Tommy Bahama). Spraying it on transports my mind to a deck chair on the beach under an umbrella sipping something hard out of a coconut while getting occasional whiffs of coal smoke and hot sand from a nearby luau where a whole hog covered in banana leaves is roasting underground. Vacation in a bottle if there ever was one. Performance in terms of sillage or scent bubble is not as strong as CDNIM EDT or edp, but it is stronger for longer than Afnan Supremacy Silver. I don't know the longevity of Explorer having never worn it, but I haven't heard good things in that regard. Performance in terms of longevity is fantastic. Sprayed on at 7:15, compliment at 10:30. Still going strong at 3:30 PM. Still noticeable on me as I left work at 4:30. Officially just as long lasting on my skin as CDNIM edp, but not as loud as CDNIM. It never pushes out as far, but it is there for the same amount of time, 8+ hours. Very linear throughout too, doesn't gain any smokiness over time. If you really like the opening of pineapple, this smells like the opening throughout the entire day. Not the opening of CDNIM edt, more like the opening of Explorer, but brighter and juicer as I stated previously.

Well...here we go, dupe time and I'll provide an honest review. I was heavily burnt from the last dupe purchase (Legasi Pour homme ..dupe of Platinum Egoist) and it was so bad I actually threw it out. A first for me at the time. (Buy lalique Linsoumis if you want a cheapie but still quality juice in the same vein...you wont regret) Anyway, full disclosure, I havent tried Aventus and I have not tried any of the other Aventus clones...but I read and listened to a ton of reviews before shelling out the 50 bucks Canadian for this... Is it my favourite? Nope, I like Eau de Rochas more... Even Jimmy Choo man Ice may be a little better for me... However...this lasts way longer than those two, has a bit more spice to it...and ALWAYS gets me compliments. Is it linear, yep...is it high quality? Nope. But does it smell good, get compliments and last a while in the heat? Yep. All counts. So while I would not buy it again. (I'm trying to avoid dupes and only buy stuff occasionally now) I'm really happy I added it into my collection last year and I will finish the bottle over a period of three or four summers. Not bad for a 100ml. So a high recommend from me, especially if you are budget hunting and want compliments and dont mind the linear aspect and lack of journey throughout the life of the fragrance on skin.

I’m comparing this to a (very small) DYI plastic decant I got for free at David Jones of Aventus. The presentation is quite nice, it resembles the holy Islamic ‘Kaaba’ which is the most holy site in Islam, it looks neat and tidy. Great quality packaging, better than Dior, if that matters to you. The scent is very similar, Aventus has more of a sparkling, effervescence, even fizzy at times will this leans on florals and woods slightly more. This is closer to Aventus than CDNIM in the opening but then diverts into a more floral woody experience. The projection is good, but nothing outstanding, strong yet fresh. The longevity was good, better than the original, which was pitiful on my skin, this lasted from 7-8 hours and 2 hours as a very faint skin scent. The price was okay, expensive for a clone, and not as intense as I was hoping, about $100 AUD. The versatility and mass appeal are higher than older batches of Aventus, which is saying something, as this is quite cleaned up, and more citric. An easy signature. Not bad, but there are better options $100 AUD/100ml - 6/10

Much Closer to Aventus Than Club de Nuit Intense 9/10 for a clone, and 8/10 for a scent, After trying several Aventus clones, I can say this one actually surprised me—in a good way. It opens with a realistic pineapple note and doesn’t have that harsh chemical lemon cleaner vibe like some others. The dry-down is smoother, and it lasts a decent amount of time on my skin. Way better than Club de Nuit Intense, which smelled synthetic and was a total waste of money for me. This one isn’t perfect, but it’s much closer to Aventus and doesn’t feel cheap. If you’re looking for a more affordable alternative that actually resembles Aventus, this is one of the better options I’ve found. Honest review from someone who’s been burned by a lot of bad clones.

Once you get passed that initial blast of "lemon cleaner" in the opening, it's a great fragrance. A nice summer banger with some pretty good performance for a citrus based fragrance. ...and yes, the word "intense" on the the front of the bottle is just a cheap sticker put on the original bottle but the juice inside is an "intense" version. I've seen comments of people confused. Thinking maybe someone was trying to pull a fast one. Just slapping the cheap sticker on the original juice. It was just a lot cheaper this way. Maturation is a real thing! If you're having performance issues, let it mature in a cool dark place for at least a couple months. I get 8 plus hours longevity in the hot summer heat.

I own MontBlanc Explorer, CDNIM EDP and Adventure intense. I've also smelt aventus. If you already own CDNIM EDP, don't bother with adventure intense and vise versa. They smell very similar. Side-by-side aventure intense smells a little bit fruitier but honestly its almost the same. Haven't worn aventure intense enough to compare its longevity or sillage with CDNIM EDP, but my first impression is that the latter is longer lasting. Montblanc explorer reminds me of an earthier aventus take with the vetiver. Similar to terre d'hermes EDT's backbone with bergamot. Weaker projection than the two other options, but decent sillage so it's better for work/ gym imo.

I can second the review by Ton_va. I have a decant of the original, and got a full bottle of the intense. The intense is...well, an intenser version of the original. Nothing more or less. Same citrus scent, with wood and light musk in the base. When the original doesn't project or last well on your skin (as it does on my fragrance devouring body) the Intense will do a better job at that. If you have easy scent skin, I doubt it's worth its quite higher price, in that case the original will do just fine. Beautiful presentation, by the way, nice solid box, padded inside, everything clicks solidly into place. Feels like an Amouage except for the price.

First, my 2023 batch is VERY long lasting - 8 hours and counting. On clothes I will probably smell this the next day. Second, yes, the opening is lemony and not the best kind, but fizzy, like in a cheap lemonade. Third, the combo of pineapple and bergamot is authentic, Aventus like, the woody dry down is very good, if you like Aventus type of smell this will definitely deliver. I didn't smell Aventus, though, just various clones - L'Aventure smells like it's well put together. The bottle is quite impressive, almost luxurious. The box is also high quality, perfect for a present. All in all, a good choice for the 40 bucks I spent on it.

This is definitely a strong perfume, and yet it's pretty "safe", I think most people would like it and few people would hate it. Fair price/performance (really rare nowdays). I don't even like "citrus" perfumes very much usually, but I can use this one with no problem. Especially excellent in warm weather. I think it's weird that this one still has so few reviews. I don't know the non-"Intense" version, but I think the positive reviews of that one seem suitable for this one too.

This is the clean take on Aventus. You get no sweet pineapple and smoke notes here, just citrus combined with musky wood, linear scent. Chypre still, light, manly. The sprayer is too good. Performance good. I hate the bottle and cap design because it isnt comfortable, but oh well. One of the only summer season scents I enjoy because it isn't sauvage, it isn't blue bubblegummy shit, it isn't green apple and musk and green and sea notes.

Smells like Aventus. Somebody also told me I smell expensive while I was wearing it, so there is some validation that it smells good to others. I have Aventus and there is a difference in quality obviously but for the price, it’s a steal. It lasts about 6 hours on my skin and projects well for the first 2 to 3 hours. 10/10 would recommend for ballin on a budget.

You get what you paid for. It's very linear, simple, and a little boring. Plain citrus and something sweet turning into musky wood. This does resemble the Aventus DNA, but it doesn't have the complexity, smoothness, and refinement. It's also somewhat synthetic smelling, it's sharp and lacks roundness. Very strong performance wise. 7.5/10

BLIND BUY: Got this cause I wanted a cheap Creed Aventus dupe. Pretty similar and delivers, it comes with this extra metallic accord that I get that adds to it. My girlfriend loves it, that's a plus. Great longevity and devent sillage. I would recommend if you want a cheap Creed Aventus.

It blows my mind how there’s no pineapple nor birch in this scent yet it’s the best Aventus dupe out there. Smells just like the original l’aventure but stronger and a bit better performance. Worth the blind buy!

Opening is like lemon toilet cleaner when that dries down it smells really nice and I get good projection and longevity on my skin

Very citrus forward opening that eventually dries down into this smoky, fruity scent

Weak performance. I have found nothing special in it.

I own only four clones in my 200+ bottle collection. Three are Aventus clones: CDNIM "silver sprayer" from 2016, CDNIM Parfum and L'Aventure Intense (and Al Haramain Amber Ruby). To be honest, the latter two are pretty similar. L'Aventure opens with a bright citrus that (to be perfectly honest) comes off a bit cheap and lower quality. It's not the floor cleaner lemon that my CDNIM from 2016 has but it's certainly not niche-level citrus (or even designer). Not off-putting but it's in line with the $32 I paid for my 100ml bottle. Once that settles down, you get into a very smooth base of woods and musks that remind me strongly of my earliest Aventus bottles with birth and oakmoss. And the mid and drydown of L'Aventure Intense remind me very, very much of the drydown of CDNIM Parfum. To the point that I'd say whichever is cheaper buy that. Longevity is okay at 5-7 but sillage/projection are poor (feels like a skinscent pretty quickly, same with CDNIM Parfum. The higher oils really limit push). It also has a TON of fixatives that likely will make you go noseblind but the real Aventus does, too just not to the same extent or quality, so I don't totally knock it. Note: I got mine with that little sticker attached to it that says "Intense." It's tacky as hell, but performance is about what I'd expect from a clone like this. Others say this version is worse but I can't confirm. Overall a 7.5/10. It's hard to argue that, once into the drydown, L'Aventure Intense isn't a very good smelling scent. It's not as round or polished as Aventus, and it misses that opening blast of bergamot/pineapple, but it's 10% of the cost and it's a well-replicated scent. A great combo is 4 parts L'Aventure Intense and 1 part Amber Oud Ruby in a decant bottle. It's a compliment combo unlike many in my collection (and it's cheap!).
