Manege Rouge

I LOVE this one! It's very soft, and a less in your face clone of BR540. It's like BR540, but without that harsh medicinal opening that people either love or hate. I personally don't care for that nauseating medicinal type scent, I only own BR540 because curiosity got the best of me and I wanted to see what all the hype was about. The dry down is very similar, if not almost identical. No, this may not last as long as BR540, and I know I'm going to get some heat for saying this, but I actually prefer Manege Rouge over BR540. It's just a soft, pleasantly sweet smell that is indescribable but at the same time delectable. Somewhat sugary cotton candy, but not cloying in any way. I tend to reach for this more than BR540 because I hate having to wait for the dry down and that dental office scent to finally dissipate before I can actually enjoy it. With this one, I can just spray it and love it right away. Sorry BR540 lovers (but also not sorry lol)

I have the bottle of 75 milliliters of this perfume. It lasts about 10 hours, with a high intensity. When I saw this news announced and read your notes, I had great desires to have it, I made great expectations and I was not disappointed. It is an explosion of aroma, beautiful aroma combined between the sweetness of cotton candy, oriental touches of saffron and magic, yes magic because this aroma has aromas that are pure magic. When I wear it I feel feminine, I feel sensual, I feel beautiful .... Certainly when you bought it I was hoping that this perfume had a certain resemblance to Baccarat Rouge 450, and it is super similar, you know, this perfume is maginifco, super similar to Baccarat, with a lot of quality of intensity and duration, does not disappoint.

I'll need to try it again as the first thing in the morning I smell. Determined after today that that is the only way I can smell her/cloud/cheirosa 68. Currently I get vegetables and bitter but not as bad as the br540 I get. Hope this will result in being a good blind buy bc I love the notes mentioned. Edit: sniffed in the morning. I get a couple seconds of sweetness, then green vegetables (still) which isn't bad by all means, there's kind of a woodiness to this that isn't in br540/ag cloud. It's not bad by all means but I'd like more sweetness. Pleased with the purchase but it's def not dupe worthy. More like just similar. Also I think the green vegetables smell is prob the oakmoss which apparently I really like

Tried this last night at the Al Haramain store and was initially unimpressed. Manège Rouge has a soft opening that might make an impatient fragrance explorer hurriedly label MR as a watered down copy of the masterpiece. Some 30 minutes later it begins to settle down and starts to become more noticeable in strength and familiarity. The drydown is where it all comes together. I haven't tried any other BR clones and I think this one will be a top contender (especially considering the price).

This scent is my baby. I bought it to use regularly while I save what’s left of my BR540. Now I find myself wanting to save this, too. This smells like actively cooking some gourmet version of sugar and red berries. It’s stronger and longer-lasting on my skin and clothes than BR540. As sweet as this is, it doesn’t smell cheap or too young.

I love this! Poor health has kept me down half the year and I haven't been able to enjoy my perfumes half as much as normal. Until my blokey bought me a little bottle of this. It seems to have given my senses the kick start they needed. I've worn it every day for a few weeks now and I can't wait to reapply it tomorrow morning!

It is a Baccarat Rouge 540 clone, but softer. And a little bit sweeter. It's very good frangrance in a winter time or autumn. Maybe more for the evening or for the special occasions. Or just to go out to the theatre or opera. I had a sample and I'm thinking about a bottle.

Beautiful!! And the closest thing to Baccarat Rouge 540 I have ever smelled!! It’s a complete dupe, it’s decently priced and it’s such a fun bottle!! What’s not to like??

Salty caramel with a hint of mint. It smells like luxurious thermal baths from Austria. I feel very special when I wear it. It's the new LVEB.. Hahaha. Wow!

Literally the best dupe of br540 ever! Feminine, airy caramel and cotton candy. Has an eternal lasting power.

I tried a sample. I have never smelled Baccarat Rouge but had heard this was a very close dupe. I got strawberries and sugar syrup and a sharp medicinal saffron cutting through in the opening, drydown was all cotton candy. Pretty and light. Didn't last on my skin for more than a couple of hours though. I would potentially buy this, but I don't think I would buy BR unless it was dramatically more powerful or complex than this, based on its price point. edit update, I did purchase this and I also have BR540 and I can affirm it is a very close dupe but the performance is not as good and it it not as smooth to the nose. I went through a bottle in a couple of weeks so if you want to wear it regularly and have better longevity, sillage etc it makes more economic sense to buy BR540.If you only use this sparingly its a good dupe.

This is the best dupe for BR540 I've found to date. If you want to smell like BR540 but don't want to spend the cash then buy this one. A close second dupe is sweven and orphic by Oakcha. Third place goes to Ariana Grande cloud.

I thought I would love this. I think there’s a leather note in this too. To me it smells like a smoother BR540 with an added leathery note. It’s sweet and appealing, I wish I could love it but I can’t stomach a leather note in a sweet fragrance.

A very close dupe without the plastic accord or the savoury ambergris of the extract. It literally smells like a fairground, the cotton candy is captured perfectly but there is a Middle Eastern saffron accord that adds complexity and character. It’s brightened up by a fresh orange zest. The performance is tragic which disqualifies it as a BR540 clone. It disappears within one hour of application. I sprayed 50 sprays today and it was undetected by everyone around me.

I must’ve gotten a bad bottle because this literally smells like nothing.

I'm very disappointed by this fragrance as I blind-bought it expecting something different and got BR540 haha! I wanted a "new" scent profile and did not expect this to be a spot on BR540 clone -- It's not the worst thing in the world but I have BR540 and two other "dupes" of the fragrance. For me, I like finding different scent profiles and experiencing different smells so hopefully, my next blind buy will be better. If you're smart you'll nab this (or another dupe) to mix with BR540 to get more bang for your buck as the cheaper fragrance can be sprayed more and then you can top it off with the real deal. ;) I will say out of ALL the "dupes/clones" this is the best one I've smelled. Zara's red temptation has a bitter almond note which the OG BR540 does not have so it smells more like the extrait version. And that bitter almond note is what some people will dislike about that fragrance so be careful. And I'm sorry but I guess I'll be one of the few who says the truth AG's Cloud is NOT a dupe for BR540 -- it's cheap and plasticky... It's a fragrance you'll smell and know it's not the real deal because the profile isn't even close to BR540. DEF blind buy friendly if you've been wanting BR540. I know this is long but hopefully informative. Nab this baby when it's a low price on Joma and thx me later. :) Catch ya later lovely sniffers.

Wow this is so impressing!!! I was not really certain to believe those who talk about baccarat rouge similarities but that’s true! I blind bought it and i am very satisfied. I thing Manege rouge is slightly less dense and complex but what a happiness! The subtile orangey head note is divine, i smell less safran than the original in the overture. The longevity is even stronger on me than the baccarat rouge. And the bottle, not very fancy, but funny!

I love this scent. I am amnosic to BR540, so cannot compare. This is a saffron gourmand delight. The bottle is interesting but takes up a lot of space. One must keep, at least, the bottom portion of the large container it comes in because the actual scent bottle is round on the bottom. It’s lovely, especially for the price.

Smells a little synthetic and has a massive salted caramel smell that fades into ammonia. The syntheticness smells like cat pee a bit. A shame cause the caramel is potent. Thought the bottle was ok, a little awkward a big. Not the best tbh, but good in a pinch. Angels share blows this out of the water

Opulent and elegant candy floss, red berries, saffron and caramel sugar. You can smell the crispness and same time stickiness of the candy floss. It is sweeter, more potent, more gourmand and feminine than BR540! Its a delight
