Coniferous forest - green needles, rain drenched soil, rocks, moss with water drops and in the bitter grapefruit rind. The range is warm cedar. Terre d'Hermes EdT, but in a softer, sleeker form (without the initial sharper tones). Smell great in the winter and in the heat and regardless of the "man" in the title as it is unisex. Superb price.

Fragrance Notes (from Al Haramain website) Top note: Bergamot, Grapefruit, Orange Middle note: Violet, Pink Berries, Patchouli, Pepper, Geranium, Neroli Base note: Vetiver, Cedar wood, Benzoin, Moss, Musk If the above notes look familiar then think of a famous French masculine 'earthy' citrus & wood fragrance. The Fragrantica note listing threw me off a bit but this is most definitely incredibly similar to Terre d'Hermes EDT. The opening here is possibly not quite as sharp but without doing a side by side comparison I think most people wouldn't tell the difference from the scent trail in the air. I'm glad I stopped by the Al Haramain store and picked this one up, an inexpensive but decent alternative to TdH for people on a budget. If you like TdH then this is a safe blind buy for sure. The presentation is decent but strangely the cap sits loosely on the bottle and something rattles inside it (perhaps was supposed to be magnetic?), anyway that's just a minor complaint. Testing this on me, it went through quite a few stages during the dry-down, the first being somewhat like a canned spiced fruit, then powdery florals, then a surprising sweetness. Longevity is not long, but it's a nice exotic smell.
