Najm Gold

I'm sitting here with probably 50 bottles of perfume trying to figure out what the DNA is in several of my perfumes that has the same dry down left-over-on-my-skin smell... This is a gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous scent. Did I say gorgeous? Because if I didn't I'm going to say it again, it's gorgeous! Beautiful Vanilla coconut and what I believe is kind of a musky ambroxen amber scent that I have just been infatuated with. I get hints of that same dry down scent in the background of Al Haramain's Amber Oud Gold Edition, Commodity Milk Expressive, Another 13 by Le Labo, Spiritual by M.Micallef, 4mbrox by Zara, Signature by Montblanc, a tiny bit in Philosophies Fresh Cream Cashmere, Baccarat Rouge both regular and Extrait, Mancera's Holidays, Al Haramain's Amber Oud Rouge, Al Haramain's Tanasuk, both the edp and the concentrated fragrance oil, Chopard Casmir, CLEAN Skin Classic & Skin & a Vanilla Classic. WHAT IS THAT INGREDIENT!?! it only varies slightly between them in a little floral or brightness or softness. But it's there and it's mostly pretty loud. And mostly I don't go completely nose blind to it. It'll sit with me and if I don't move I forget about it. But as soon as I move, there's that note.. I'll even go to say I went to smell some scents on a test strip one day and EVERY perfume I tried, had the same note! ALL OF THEM! that's when I tried smelling them with the other hand. Yeah, I forgot that I had I gotten a little on one of my hands and it was still coming thru louder than the test strips I was holding. It's a beast. I'm going to have to have a sit down with all of them and study this because the prices vary from $25 ounce to $300+. Lol. But if they all dry down similarly, then the openings and middle, would just be for me - and maybeno one else would be the wiser. - maybe Jeremy Fragrance could tell ;) Oh I forgot! I smell it In Eba Pura and Xerjoff Naxos too! What IS IT?!? It's in so many! I LOVE THEM ALL!

Another winner among Al Haramain attars, can't believe there is no review yet. I would call it a gourmand. Fluffy ice-cream with coconut and white chocolate, strong, but tender, rich and appetizing. Reminds me as well of milky souffle dessert topped up with thin layer of lime, - Blancmange, so creamy and lush Najm Gold is. Overall, - you can't go wrong with this one, not at all and don't think the note pyramid is correct as well.

This is the exact qaed al fursan white in an oil. Creamy coconut and citrus heaven without being overly sweet. Layer this with the spray for the ultimate scent bubble.

This is gorgeous—on my skin I immediately get the coconut, vanilla, and sandalwood and the citrus comes out to play after a bit. It’s creamy and sweet, but very sexy. Feminine leaning, but I think a man could definitely get away with it once the sandalwood note reacted with the body chemistry. Highly recommend!

It may just be me but all I get is dairy butter and a little cream. I would love to get a little coconut but I think that must be what is giving me the butter smell. I also get no sandalwood or bergamot. The bergamot would cut some of the buttery aspect of this so not sure if I just got an old bottle? The bottle itself is beautiful and as noted by others would make a great paperweight or weapon. It does last 24 hours, particularly on clothing. It has a lower sillage but very long lasting scent. I added the oil to unscented body cream and it lasts longer that way and is easier to apply. I really wanted to get the scent profile shown but it is not there with my chemistry. I think I will experiment with adding it to scented body creams with a similar profile. Korres coconut and guava body cream has a similar scent profile to me. May also try this with a sandalwood fragrance that needs warming up.

It kind of reminds me of caramel popcorn, which is sad because the scent profile sounds nice.

Blind bought this 3 years ago when sales jn beauty stores got mad due to the beginning of the pandemics. Was not reaching until now as I wanted this bottle to store as a vanity table decoration (the bottle itself costs I'd say 50% the price and weighs nearly 600 grams), and this means - I have to use the perfume out as it will simply become bad in the light. Also - was not impressed about the fragrance as it is fragrance oil with glass stick applicator, not atomiser. Interestingly, that I got 3 ccomments about the perfume I wear in the first week. A street icecream seller told me I smell like cream icecream🤣. My hairdresser told that she was captivated by the smell (although it is totally not her fragrance), because it is warm, sweet and not overpowering. While waiting my son in his football classes I heard a kid passed me by and said to his mom that some smell in here makes him want a lot of candies🤭. While I prefer strong perfumes, this one is really quite intimate. Those who like tropical vanilla/coconut/milkshake fragrances in summer can definitely go for this one as the people will not be killed during the hot weather. I will not repurchase though as I am not a fan of it's oily condotion (ok for summer but may stain clothing). Other than that - a very lovely composition created by a grand master Carbonnel.

This is one of the most beautiful vanillas ever. I fell in love with it during my coconut craze. This one is delicious but not overly gourmand, my nose can’t pick up coconut or if it does it’s not bothering me in any way. I think it lasts about 4-6 hours, but silage is intimate, I can smell it on me now that I haven’t worn it in years, but I’ll go anosmic quick if I wear it again. It’s expensive but it’s one of those that you buy because It’s so special. I don’t like the aplicator so I decanted mine in a roll on bottle, as the bottle itself could be used successfully in a fight it’s so heavy.

Tengo el vanilla musk de coty y por momentos me parecen idénticos. Incluso los utilizo juntos, unas gotas de aceite y un par de atomizaciones.....

This smells like heavennn, didn’t expect to fall in love with this. It’s very sweet, like a lemon pie. Dare I say it’s even better than Lira...? 🫢

Love this one, it’s such a lovely well balanced, yummy scent. Will layer well with devotion. Gorgeous presentation also.
