Pearl

Finally tried this one after blind buying it. This is indeed reminiscent of Dior's - Miss Dior Cherie - the opening of this one is more sharp but it quickly settles and smells almost the same as Miss Dior. It wasn't as sweet or gourmand as I was hoping it to be - I was hoping for a big, sweet and cloying, strong strawberry and cream note but instead got mostly translucent floral notes with a pale strawberry undertone and a diluted creamy base - the scent definitely matches the colour of it's bottle. A great dupe for Miss Dior and has decent longevity and moderate silage. I sprayed some on my clothing and neck/wrists this morning at around 8am, it is now 12pm and I can still catch faint whiffs of it here and there. On my wrists it now smells like Versace Eros for some reason, it has turned into this very dense and opaque slightly sweet smell with all fruity, floral, and gourmand notes being undetectable. On my clothing it still smells like Miss Dior and the whiffs that I am getting from time to time still Smells like Miss Dior. This is office safe for sure and not as bold/loud as I was hoping. I am not super thrilled but also I am not super disappointed either - it was $25 for a scent that is of decent quality and smells like Miss Dior. Perfect for all seasons.

I like this one! I've never smelt Miss Dior Cherie, but to my nose this fragrance is much like Angel Eau Sucree. It's fresh at first, fruity and floral- but done right, and balanced and tempered nicely against a lightly-sweet, creamy base that becomes more-evident after the first 30 minutes. Lasts about 6 hours on me with a projection between moderate and soft- fine for a warm-weather, daytime frag. I must admit, however, that I bought it for the gorgeous bottle. 3/5 For those interested, 'Silky' (the third in this line that includes 'Pearl' and 'Beauty', but is not in the database) is an unusual fragrance... It is centered around a creamy tuberose, supported by "cleaner" floral notes of jasmine, neroli, and subtle aldehydes. The light, oriental base underneath is benzoin-heavy... and somehow this combo reminds me of 'White Diamonds' a little bit- but mixed with the scent of clover and dandelions and corn-silk! I haven't yet decided whether or not I relate to it, but it has superb longevity (12+ hours). EDIT: wearing Silky in late spring... odd up close, but very pleasant trail. My partner detects a hint of civet along with the fresh corn (we both agree on this note). 3.5/5

This screeched like a banshee on my skin for around half an hour. Like the cheapest, nastiest, fruitiest celebrity fragrance you could imagine. I very nearly scrubbed it off. But I was a patient gal, waited it out...and it got so much better. Pearl mellows down to a gentle and very likeable strawberry/melon heart, which is saved from shampoo-territory by a soothing, milky amber dry down. Comes in to its own in cool weather, when it manages to come off fresh, cool, sweet and creamy all at the same time. Nice scent.

I got Pearl today, from Beauty spin. I thought it was going to be a gourmand, but to be honest it is far away from being one. Yeah, it has some sweetness, but the galbanum and ginger take control of the scene before it can become cloying. I do not perceive anything like whipped cream. But the strawberry feels very fresh and not cloying. The scent is very sofisticated, the bottle is really beautiful, and the price is really modest. I think I paid less than 16$ for this pretty scent. I perceive leather and a bit of incense in the background, again, this is a very sofisticated scent. It is a little bit similar to Miss Dios Cherie, but not exactly the same fragrance, really I can't believe this was so cheap, this scent is fabulous. Edit: well, this is not so fabulous, after probably 2 hours the scent has faded to almost nothing, and smells more like a cheap dupe of MDC. Sorry!

Anyone know where to buy this? I've been searching online and I can't find anything perhaps this is not called Pearl but something else? Please someone help me this perfume sounds amazing!!! I live in the UK by the way if that helps, thanks so much!

These are all the notes involved in this fragrance: Top: Ginger, Mara Strawberry NP, Galbanum Middle: Floral, Gardenia, Tuberose, Vanilla Base: Marshmallow, Amber, Frankincense, Patchouli, Sensual Woods, Praline Musk, Sandalwood, Ambrette

It's heavy on the ginger, strawberries and cream. The ginger gives it a sharp quality. It does vaguely smell of a cheap dupe of MDC but it more bitter and sharp. If you're looking for a dupe of MDC then try Bliss by Elode.

I bought this for myself but my husband stole it away! He says it's his new favourite. Nice fragrance. Excellent price $25 Aus

Agreed! I live in TN, in the USA and cannot find it anywhere. It sounds AMAZING!
