Rouge

Smells almost identical to Amber Oud Rouge/Ruby, but doesn't perform as well. It is long-lasting as I have gotten whiffs of it after 8/9 hours but the sillage is very poor, sitting closer to my skin. Worn it a bunch, and sprayed a fair amount, but it has never garnered attention as opposed to my other fragrances. Still love it, 9/10.

it does smile like 540 extrait, but very light and smooth. I thought that it doesn't last long, but actually it does, but close to the skin.

Revisiting this one. It seemed very weak when I first received it, but this fragrance has seemed to improve with time. I could barely smell it when I first received it and I put it away and basically forgot about it. 7 months later, projection is about 3 feet. This fragrance is very light and I can barely smell it, but other people can. I think I may be nose blind to this. I have Royale Stallion (one of my fav frags ever) by the same company and that's why I later bought this. I ordered samples of br54 and br 54 extrait and I can smell those much either. This is not one of my favorite fragrance DNA's, however I do love Kajal's Lamar, which I can actually smell.

So I bought this having never tried Br540, it smells sweet and a little spicy. It doesn't seem to last long or I'm nose blind to it. My friends almost always comment when I wear a new scent, which hasn't happened with this. I am going to try to macerate and see if this improves. So far I am very disappointed.

#610 in my "Tour de Fragrance" As Mackendub has already pointed out this is just a poorer quality release of their Amber Oud Rouge in a cheaper looking bottle. No idea why they'd bother doing this when it costs nearly the same. Get the Amber Oud version, not this.
