Want that Johnson & Johnson baby powder smell in attar form? Then Al Haramain's 'Saturday' is perfect for you. It reminds me of Harajuku Lovers 'Baby' fragrance. Sometimes I think that not all of the notes for the Arabian attars are listed. With Al Haramain's 'Saturday' I also detect alderhydes, musk and a little vanilla in the dry down. I get no patchouli, saffron or amber, just a perky floral baby powder scent. It's lasted all night and I'm still smelling it this morning.

This is a nice white musk. To me it smells very similar to ASAQ Body musk, but in Body musk there is a musty and earthy smell at the drydown that I don't like much. In Saturday the drydown is more pleasant. The projection and longevity are great. The bottle feels extremely cheap, but that's no surprise considering the price.

Nothing special in my opinion. A very boring floral-musky scent. The musk is done in the Arabic style – I feel it strong, not mild and soft as in western perfumes. I see it is compared with baby wipes a bit, and I do get the comparison, but if you look for that specific scent, Saturday is not the best way to find it. I feel that the white flowers are done in a very.. screechy way, quite artificial and a bit annoying. I feel no saffron or patchouli or peach. Just some badly done white flowers, something sweet & musky and maybe some amber & ylang ylang in the background. Not even sure it is ylang ylang. Maybe it’s just some mild bitterness from all artificial materials into this. I lack the works to describe it, but if you smelled some other flowery Arabic oils – this is the same. Very generic flowery scent. And in the far far dry down, I do feel some baby wipe vibes. But this is definitely not what you feel for the first hours. In it’s defense though, I have smelled some way worst Arabic flowery oils. This one is not that bad, but it’s not something groundbreaking either. My bad impression on the white flowers are the same for all these oils, maybe that’s why I don’t like them.

First impression: So, I got this fragrance today in the mail. It was a blind buy, as it is rather affordable and I like Al Haramain perfumes in general. In fact, Junoon is one of my favorite perfumes ever. Saturday is not what I expected. I expected it to be something like baby powder (maybe in the Junoon category, which is a dry, slightly sweet, powdery scent), but this is a very soapy, heavy floral with a hint of something smoky and almost pungent in the background. That's not bad, though! It's something different from those perfumes I already have in my collection, though it is slightly (but only very slightly, in its soapiness maybe) similar to Arpége by Lanvin (although Arpége smells much sweeter and lighter than this). I will update the info in the end of the day. I'm quite curious how the fragrance develops itself. :) After few hours of wearing this, the scent got little more timid, slightly reminding me of some baby oil. Not baby powder, but more like baby oil kind of thing. The longevity and sillage are pretty decent.
