Sultan

I have the oil and I find it very masculine. The pineapple, peach, cinnamon, amber and sandalwood are the most prominent notes on me. The cinnamon provides both a sharpness and spice giving the composition a warm but masculine edge. Although I heard this has a strong strawberry note, I do not smell it. It's very sweet and edible in the air. I would love to cosy up to my husband if he were wearing this. In fact, I'll put some on him when he arrives home from work, lol! A feminine counterpart to this fragrance is the new Live Irresistable by Givenchy. They are brother and sister. I do not think Sultan smells like Noora after application. Noora has a fresh, soapy undercurrent like still warm laundry. Sultan is deep and dark throughout.

I cannot put into words how much i love this silly little bottle of perfume. I have had it for a year now, and its still almost full. When i first got it, the smell was too pungent to me, since i was used to more light and misty perfumes. But this was it! I didn't know what letting your perfumes macerate meant, and i unknowingly did it. Boy, did it get so much better. The scent became thicker, not as pungent to the nose but (dare i say, it gave off a rich smell). I have gotten so many compliments on it, have even suggested it to most and i always have it with me. (Key note, place it directly behind or under your ear, so when someone leans in, they get the whole package. Mostly love it because of the vanilla notes.)

This is such a pretty and long lasting scent which envelops the wearer with the most amazing cloud. A friend of mine was wearing a very tiny drop behind her ears but I could smell it from the moment she came into the office. She walked around leaving an amazing perfume trail. It comes across to me as very similar to Dolce and Gabbana Femme, the old formulation, without the aldehydes. This is a concentrated oil so a tiny swipe is all you need. It starts off very very strong very sweet floral note, almost candy like and by the dry down the sandalwood and amber appear. It dries off to a powdery woody floral, almost losing some of the sweetness. The musk is very clean and present all throughout.

Substance: The strawberry, pineapple, sandalwood, vanilla and honey.. these all notes are so prominent in this gourmand jewel that they emit sweetness through and through. Honey dipped strawberry and pineapple salad would be an apt description! The juice itself is pretty lean, kinda dilated tbh, but smells amazing. Great projection and very good silage. Lasts for at least 8-10 hours comfortably. Packaging: Just about average. Looks good on the shelf from distant sight. However, up and close, the look and smell spells cheap n chic, respectively. Rating: 6/10 (Frag: 7; Bottle: 5.)

Oh I cannot express how much I love this perfume. I have the Attar... it is a WORK of ART. This beauty kicks the arse out of any designers or niches, in my opinion. I LOVE that grape-y soda sweet tuberose/jasmine fruit blend.. it reminds me of a friend in high school who would wear Dior Poison.. but this is more complex, and much better IMO. It changes as well. A little lasts all day. It never gets old. I am totally going to buy a backup, let it sit for however long and see how it ages. I bet it is more beautiful the more it ages. This was the best blind-buy ever.

I bought this one at the Dubai Duty Free for only 25 dirham, which is like 7$/6€!!! Beautiful lucious fragrance, that does remind me of Noora, but Noora is much softer and more powdery/soapy as where Sultan opens up with an explosion of sweetness. Strawberry well represented here. I love the dry down as the woody aspect comes to live and thw perfumes settles in nicely. Very strong sillage at first but fades after some hours.. Longevity with me is moderate but good enough for me. A bargain and a beauty!

Smells very nice. I can always smell it but I know I’m gonna become noseblind. I got two compliments the first day I wore it. It is a great attar and it creates an aura for you. Slightly feminine but as a man I pull it off. Possibly best to wear in the heat because of the fruits and the florals. It kinda reminds me of fresh laundry. The most beautiful smell around the world. Rich oriental splendor closed in a small botle. It's a pity that its longevity not the best... although I love love love it!!! Majestic magic...

Divine, love it! It's very similar to Noora, but while Noora is orange-ish, it's srawberry-ish a bit. I have the CPO version of Sultan, and I really really love it. <3

I smell this as an interpretation of a very light fruity oud. It ́s very nice.

This review is for the oil, not the EDP. This is a strong like! There is something about this that really reminds me of clean laundry or cotton? I was a little surprised that it's nowhere in the notes. There is also something here that reminds me of children's cough syrup, but in an inoffensive way. The berry, sandalwood, and musk really stand out, while the florals are more in the background. It's a very soothing and comfortable fragrance. It smells clean. It brings to mind self-care: nestling into a freshly laundered bed on a sick day in snowy weather. I can already tell that I'll be wearing this fragrance very often, especially on cozy days this winter. This lasts days and days on clothes, and almost a full 24 hours on skin. It has medium sillage. Finally, the bottle is fantastic. It's well-constructed for such a cheap frag, despite being made of plastic. The cap twists off nicely. I love that it has a long glass dabber to apply the oil easily. At $10 + free shipping from walmart's website, this is a total steal for a cozy scent!

It's pure joy in a bottle! Such an uplifting fruit punch of a scent with warming sandalwood and sweet vanilla. The strawberry note is the star, but I can pick out raspberry and peach although the pineapple is sadly lost. The florals bring up the rear quietly. It's a wonderful, well-blended combination. It's unequivocally feminine; frankly I can't imagine men carrying it off comfortably. However I reckon it'd layer very well with masculine incense and/ or smokey scents - Interlude Man springs to mind. It'd definitely be worth a try. One sweep of the wand gives me moderate sillage and 12+ hours of wear. And it only cost £7! I'm deeply impressed with the quality of this oil and look forward to trying more from Al Haramain soon.

Do not save this for the cool weather, wear this in the heat! Warm temperatures are finally hitting us and I put this on after dinner to calm me as I get ready for bed. This fragrance oil, in the heat, is magical. The fruit, strawberry, pineapple, and peach, melting with sandalwood and amber is........it is one of those perfume moments when a fragrance comes together.. I've worn this in the cool weather and did not get such an amazing show as I have in this 84(29) degree evening. Spring is here. I just made a rhubarb and berry crisp. It came out of the oven and Sultan is giving that fresh dessert a lot of competition. I am very happy with Sultan. Sweet, fruity, warm, smooth, long lasting, and utterly delicious.

(for the oil version) The opening is too oriental for my nose, but after about an hour the oriental notes fade and the fruit stays strong. After some more hours the fruit gets into the background and the vanilla comes. This is my favourite phase of this scent and I am glad it doesnt change anymore. Definitely unisex. I dont wear it outside house as this is just too unisex, oriental and fruity at the same time, most people wouldnt understand it. I just use it occasionally at home when I am in a mood for "something a lot different"

Jasmin Musk ylang- ylang and i think amber are the notes i smell out of this oil. More white florar that fruity to me, i realy like it!! I thought it would smelled stronger for longer but although the longevity is good the projection is strong for 30-40’ then is tones down to a point i have to put my skin to my nose to smell it! It’s my first oil and i really loved it.As a perfume is amazing really strong flowery fresh! I recommend it ♥️

Liking it quite a lot! Lively strawberry-pineapple-khoa attar. Lasts for around 6 hours or so...close to skin perfume oil. Needs more testing,,, (Khoya is an Indian sweet made from thickened milk and often used as stuffing for sweet pastry’s etc.) Initially very gourmand sweet along the lines of Hermes Elixir Des Merveilles.

Sometime you can't decide which perfume you gonna wear today or another reason is to much using of fragrances you need at least one day break and and very long topic hope you can understand the next part of story. Sultan is the only little gem you can use that day. If you don't understand my point that you are new thanks
