Alya

Oh how absolutely gorgeous Alya is! Fruity, tropical and so fresh. Call me crazy, it smells like Creed Aventus for her. Slightly tropical with hints of chocolate on woods. With something undeniably fresh through and through. Smells like apple or birch or pineapple, smells like that unique Aventus DNA. I could say it was perhaps inspired by it as it is not a dupe. Or like a Creed Aventus Her Red Edition where they would add strawberry, chocolate and many goodness listed here. All I know Alya smells phenomenally good, no harsh scent, no chemical scent. I am so happy!

It s beautiful, it a better richer sexier version of haya from lattafa, all year round, when i first got it i was very dissapointed cause i only smelt flowers with some fruit but after a while i get the gourmand aspect, it s a sweet chocolate fruty, think strawberry but not a candy fake strawbery, a rich pure one, dipped in melted chocolate. It s not that type of gourmand offputting by the flowers like you d feel you re eatting roses but it s not a fully edible cookie cake gourmand either, it s a perfect combination of sexiness and femininity

Update: 4/4/23 so I’ve had this maturing for 4 months and it’s so much more beautiful & rich than when I first tried it. This time I don’t detect much fruit. I get a smooth amber wood, floral mid notes & a touch of saffron & rose and a base of vanilla & clean oud. It’s truly a beautiful scent. It reminds me of CH Saffron Lazuli and TF crossed with TF Noir de noir. I think this one is just going to continue getting better with age. It’s smells far more lazurite’s than it costs. What a bargain. Definitely for the cooler Fall days & for winter. 12/12/23 This is a very woody fruity floral fragrance with clear fruity top notes. There's an ambery scent about it, almost as if there is a slight touch of oud. It's a very oriental, middle eastern perfume. It reminds me of something else I own, but at the moment i can't remember. I'll update after it's had time to macerate and see what come of it.

Ole' is listed as a reminds me of fragrance-- It does not start out like Ole' but does resemble it in the deep dry down.. Both have completely different opens and mids..

It took me a while to realise that this reminds me of Ramon Monegal’s ‘Ole!’. This is your affordable dupe.

I blind bought this because of its listed fruity/gourmand notes, but sadly, on me I don't detect anything of the kind. It's mainly medicinal, metallic and kind of oud-ey, but with good longevity. The drydown is gourmand, chocolate and vanilla. I could say that it is an interesting fragrance but I would not recommend it as a blind buy. The good-quality glass bottle is heavy and elegant. It would look good on a dresser except that I don't recommend keeping perfumes out in the open. I keep mine in drawers in their original boxes.

No fruit or florals here, nor does it remotely resemble Haya. It's shoe polish with a couple pine needles thrown in. Very unisex. None of the listed notes are detectable, only shoe polish and pine. For some reason I kinda like it, and sometimes wear it around the house, but I'd never wear it in public. It's pretty offensive. Seems like the other reviewers have radically different noses than me or I got a bad bottle, so your mileage may vary. It's so cheap you might as well blind buy. I just wish I had the same experience as the other reviewers, because strawberry is one of my favorite notes, and I'm not getting any here.

This perfume wasn't fruity at all for me. I was expecting sweet, gourmand... but I only got heavy woody scents. Gave me a headache, unfortunately.

I've never been more catfished by a fragrance in my life. Blind bought this a while ago. It smelled disgusting so I decided to put it in the closet to sit. IT NEVER GOT BETTER It's now in my declutter stack. I'm grateful I got this very cheap on sale. It smells nothing like the accords nor notes. Not on my skin, not in the air. I think it smells a lot more masculine. But neither fruity or woodsy. Just...bad. Its rare i cant put my nose on some notes. Maybe its the trauma, but I just know I dont like it. I'm jealous of those that get a fruity woodsy fragrance, but this is the biggest NOPE ever.

Lots of woods, to me it smells very oudy (not barnyard, but definitely oriental with lots of patch and sandalwood to boot) Fairly gourmand and lasts nicely. My initial impression is that I like this more than i expected to. I thought it was going to be bombastic (it's not). To my nose its a woody scent without an overdose of spice. The sandalwood, patchouli and dark chocolate predominate. The fruits and florals are present, but take a back seat to the base notes. I think you could wear this during the day in fall or winter, or at night during spring and summer.

I really like Alya by Al Wataniah! Reminds me of Angel or Angel Muse in a way, but Alya is deeper, fruitier and stronger, in my opinion. Lasts a long time on me, but I haven't timed it yet.

i love it...the initial spray is very chemical like but the dry down is fantastic..i had so many compliments..my boyfriend loved it and he usually doesnt comment on my fragrances.
