This is considered a year rounder to me. The incense and amber wood grounds it enough for colder weather wear.

Definitely a blue scent, isn't exactly a dupe of any of the staples (Bleu de Chanel or Sauvage) but goes strong in that direction for sure, I'll compare it to them. Opening: Grapefruit and pink pepper but not as strong and realistic as it should be, you can pick woods from the get go but more like vetiver in the beginning. At this stage it's going to remind you of Bleu de Chanel EDP, because it's not as grapefruity as Bleu de Chanel EDT. Heart: Sweet and light amber that feels woody (amberwood?) + strong fresh airiness, probably hedione that people describe as being the ginger + very bitter and smoky wood. The amber doesn't feel as sweet as in Bleu de Chanel EDP nor as animalic/salty as ambergris/ambroxan (Sauvage's). Bass: That fresh airiness goes away and keep up with the amber and woods. It doesn't deliver that charming and mysterious incense present in Bleu de Chanel EDT or Dylan Blue, it's more of a smoky wood. It's really good, if you like amber that smells fresh and you really love woody scents, try this one. Performs kinda like Dylan Blue and I do not recommend it for teenagers or very young people, can be a little too bitter for younger audiences.

Bought this a few weeks ago and it just smelled sharp and musky. Not disgusting but absolutely not good. Been spraying some on my arm now and then to see if it would get better and it took quite a while for it to improve. Today it smells nice. Not great but definitely good. The vast improvement gives hope that it'll become really good with a little more time but I could spray it on for some casual occasions already.

I liked it. If they had turned down the incense and boosted the citrus, I would LOVE it. I live in Brazil, so I can't wear this properly on summer. Spring max
