Rose Mystery Intense

I have never smelled Atomic Rose so cannot compare this one. That said, this one is gorgeous: a deep jammy rose, not overly sweet, comforting and soft. Just stunning. Beware judging Rose Mystery Intense too soon — you will miss the best part. The drydown. I almost set this lushly beautiful scent aside, because the fist impression leaned towards stinky. I thought it smelled sweaty, vaguely like body odor up close. I am so glad that I didn’t scrub it off and instead waited to see if it evolved. Y’all. When I tell you how swoon-worthy this rose scent is once she mellows out a bit!! Give her some time and some space to make herself comfortable on your skin and she will linger with you for hours. She will whisper at you to catch your attention when you move in a way that lifts her up into a scent cloud gently swirling around you, and you will momentarily forget that it’s You who smells so good. You will wonder who is wearing the fragrance of a rose garden heated by a warm sun, and then you will remember. You will sniff your wrist yet again, and silently thank yourself for not being too hasty in judging Rose Mystery Intense too soon. She is shy, after all, and will hold back her softness for only those who let her reveal her true self at her own pace. 🥀❤️

I received this two weeks ago and I’m wearing it today, it’s a beautiful rose, a pretty green rose, like a dark delina but not as sweet and very expensive smelling. It has moderate longevity and it projects about 1-2 feet and you have a nice scent bubble. I wish it were a little stronger but maybe that’ll improve I’ll update in about 3-4 months these are first impressions. But I’m very impressed this is what I’d consider to be a sexy rose, but this will make you want to start exploring Al Wataniah, it’s proving to be a very underrated house by far. Update: 9/16/2025 So this improved with longevity and projection, no it lasts about 8+ hour and it projects past arm length. Every time a wear it I get compliments love this will repurchase.

Quite impressive, enough so that I need only be brief. As described below, this is a 'jammy' rose. Not unlike Lebanese rose petal jam. Rose Mystery Intense is grounded by an appropriately faint vanilla, inoffensive woody notes, and an astringent tannin-esque tea-like note that rounds out the composition. I have enjoyed pairing this with various oud oils. When combined, the perfume and raw oud extract form a composition that is unparalleled by any pre-made rose+oud I've found.

This is stunning... I enjoy Atomic Rose and this is extremely close, but even slightly more juicy and wearable. I'm not a huge rose fan but for me it is the perfect deep, jammy, rose I've been looking for (but still daytime appropriate), to the point that I regret buying Ormonde Jayne Damask. I just opened my bottle and the performance is not as strong as AR, but I'm okay with it for the beautiful scent.

Lovely rose and vanilla that might suit a woman more but could easily be worn by a man too. It definitely seems like a much more expensive perfume than the €17 I paid to buy it. I get a lot of compliments every time I wear it from both women and men. Very good and above average longevity and performance. If you like perfumes like Atomic Rose just buy it. It's a really really good perfume.

A dense saturated rose that is jammy, velvety, sweet and almost syrupy with a rich amber-vanilla base and a glowing, slightly resinous warmth. It's not gourmand but has a sticky, intoxicating pull that makes you want to keep sniffing it on your skin. This rose is blooming at full volume, but still very wearable. It's lush, intoxicating, full bodied and addictive - firmly narcotic.

A dry, dusty, dark antique rose with a beautiful resinous, amber, woody base. Silage is high and performance is nuclear. Rose Mystery Intense is nearly identical to Initio "Atomic Rose" but with much better performance. And “Rose Mystery Intense” can be had for a fraction of what Initio fetches for Atomic Rose.

This is pure gorgeousness! This is quite literally the most gorgeous of gorgeous perfumes out there! I enjoy it infinitely more than Infini Rose and I know I might get a lot of hate for what I'm about to say, but I even like it more than Atomic Rose 🙈

I'm OBSESSED with this perfume. This a seductive pink rose surrounded by soft spices and a creamy vanilla. The dry down is to die for!! Sexy, strong but not intrusive. Perfect for all seasons. Run and get it because it is ridiculously cheap!

Atomic rose with elements of Side Effect! This is wonderfully made! Definitely unisex leaning slightly more feminine but if you like atomic rose or side effect then you’re going to love this !! And longevity is easily 8-10 hours

Opens with a unripe, green rose and it develops into a full bloom, being backed by a slightly salty wood. This is incredible - unlike anything I've smelled really, I would also call this unisex but maybe it smells more masculine on men and vice versa on ladies. There is a slight similarity to Oud Syofi by Khalis but that one is way more musky and doesn't have the savoury wood accord. OS also reminds me of an outdoor sauna, with is watery notes, this is certainly not that, this is.... Something else, more dry, more airy. There is a noticeable jasmine in here too. When I first sprayed this a few days ago, it was pure rose but after a couple of days of maturation, I definitely notice other notes and it's far better now. I expect it will continue to bloom so to speak.

First update after 1 week of maturation: Not sure about Atomic Rose and comparison, been a while since I smelled that, and did not like it back then. On me Rose Mystery isn't a sweet jammy rose as other reviewers say, more like a woody/green thorny dark rose :) (not dry by any means) . Could this impression be caused by the wood georgy wood/ambrofix? not sure what it is. At this stage, this one is reminding me of Tom Ford Noir de Rose (which I used to have), thickkk black-hearted femme fatale, wearing a leather jacket rather than a slick dress. So this would be unisex imho. Will provide an update in a month or so.

maybe i got an odd bottle or there is some inconsistency between batches. to me it smells very woody, and kind of like black pepper. almost no rose, no jasmine, no vanilla or amber. bought from a mainstream discounter so it's legit. idk, maybe it will age and oxidize into something better but i've had it for about a month and I'm still pretty disappointed.

This is a beastmode. The projection is insane and when I sprayed it on Sunday afternoon on my clothes, I was filling up the whole office with this smell next day. It would be a positive thing if this actually smell good. But all I can smell is old rose soap (like my greatgrandma used to have in her wardrobe) with little bit desinfection. It is so strong. And so terrible. It is not possible to layer with anything, because it overpower every fragrance I have, even my Bottega Veneta which is also super strong. I can't smell any vanilla, aby wood, just terrible synthetic rose soap (and I love soapy powdery scents, but not this). I will let it sit for a while and get back to it, but I dont have any high hopes..

Atomic Rose, now that I think about it, is Oud Ispahan without any Oud. Even though this clone leans a little feminine, some magic happens when you wear this on a black leather jacket. Jammy rose, sweet. More juicy than powdery, turkish delight vibes. Everything else is just a supporting note influencing how that rose translates, rather than existing as notes themselves. There's a funk here that I like. Dries down into a bitter woody, that coupled with that rose sweetness, is pretty addictive. PS: I do like it more than amethyst and the OG atomic rose.

I was worried about the quality because most Emirati brands are poor in that regard. Approximate breakdown: • 60% fresh, lush, juicy, and dense rose not sharp or chemical • 15% oud note from Akigalawood • 15% creamy amber note from Georgywood • 10% vanilla Good, 6.95/10

I received a decant of this powerful fragrance from a dear swap friend. Generally I am not a fan of dupes and Arabic fragrances tend to be way too much for even my powerhouse perfume preferences! But if you want a fragrance that will last an eternity, redolent of synthetic smelling woods and resins and have a limited budget... go for Rose Intense. It does not remind me of Atomic Rose at all but does remind me of Atomic Ambroxan!!

Smells much better than Bade'e Al Oud Amethyst (that one is a scrubber for me). Incensy and spicy rose, reminds me of Ajmal Wisal, one of very first fragrances when I started my fragrance journey. Considered this is the better deal since Wisal is $30 for 50 ml. and Rose Mystery Intense is $35 for 100 ml.

OMGGGG yall sleeping on this gem. This smells way better than atomic rose for only 30 bucks! glad to finally see on fragrantica. Seriously, al wataniah did their thing with this smell. That house is doing a lot of great things. I still cant get over their kayali invite only dupe <3
