Watani Intense

Scent- Great fragrance, with decent quality for the price! If you're familiar with your typical floral middle eastern fragrances, then this one won't surprise you. The fragrance is basically a floral, soapy, spicy, and musky fragrance. All I get is basically those accords. If you like laundry detergent Scents, then this one is for you. The fragrance starts off with a huge dose of florals hitting you in the face, and it's Strong! But I'll get to performance later. So after that the spiciness starts to emerge, but goes away later on, then the musk begins to appear. You also get hints of Vanilla, but vaguely, and only when you smell it directly on your skin. You also get a little bit of fruits, but the florals will still dominate. This is basically a straight floral scent with hints of spice, fruits, and Musk. But make no mistake, this is a full force floral fragrance. The scent is nice and very out of place with today's fragrance DNAs which is not a bad thing. This is definitely an old school smell that will not sit well with newbies and people that strictly like mass appealing fragrances. Also, this fragrance is pretty much redundant if you already own Oud Al Layl by Arabiyat Prestige. Yes, that fragrance is very, very similar to this one, about 95% similar. I was able to get this fragrance for $22, and I wouldn't be mad of I had to pay $60 or $70 for it, yes it's that good!! For the most part, this scent will remain linear, but for that price, you can't complain! You can also find it much cheaper on other fragrance discount websites. I saw it for $17 on a website, and that's a steal!! Cons- I only have 2 cons with this fragrance: 1. It's redundant if you own any other Rose heavy or floral heavy scent, like Oud Al Layl by Arabiyat Prestige or Awraq Al Oud by Lattafa 2. The Golden part of the bottle is plastic, but very flimsy plastic, which I hate. It makes it feel very cheap, but for that price, it's okay, I guess. Performance- This thing is a monster!! The projection was very strong with 3 Sprays on each wrist. It was so strong that you could actually taste the fragrance lol. Those first 30mins, the scent will be very loud, so be careful to not wear this on enclosed spaces, because it can give you a headache or even cause others to gag or feel lightheaded. So the projection remains strong fir 2hrs, after that it settles down. The Longevity is also good!! I was still able to smell it after 8hrs. The Sillage is also great and very present to others for like 90mins or more. So great performance for a cheapie! Seasons- Definitely for the colder days, but can also be worn on cooler days and nights of Spring. Audience- So this is definitely Unisex in my opinion, but many might say it reminds them of "Old Lady" perfume. So this is definitely for the older crowds, but any one can wear, because it smells like laundry detergent lol.

I purchased it for myself for about 15€, attracted by the pyramid. When it was delivered, my husband unboxed it out of curiosity and stole it immediately. Works perfectly unisex. Anyway, this works wonders, and it is literally nuclear: opens with a honey on the wild side, kind of the lovely tea one can make when there’s a little cold but not enough for medicines, and you add some lemon and honey, you know? But other than this maturely sweet opening and main perception, the background is just the littlest pinch of spicy and kind of fresh, it’s probably due to the vetiver and patchouli. A soft reminder of some late 90s powerhouses, but with class and demureness. Let’s just say when he first showed up at work wearing this, within a week seven colleagues both male and female bought it as well, and now customers started asking as well. The head of the beauty counter, in her late 60s, dubbed it the best smell she ever felt. We are so flattered! On him, it lasts 10+ hours and I can easily smell it when he comes home despite humid weather and sweat. A true bomb. It should cost more. Just go ahead and try it, you won’t disappointed and surely you won’t get bankrupt!

Bruh this stuff is nuclear throw this sucker off and it would detonate. Spray IN MODERATION ! You ve been warned.

I must have a different batch. I too bought this because of the bottle and...I liked the main accords. I am disappointed. To me, it's not intense at all. Too lemony and sweet for me. I was hoping for "warm spicy"...but rather it's not unique smelling to me, didn't impress me. Longevity and sillage are not great. I'll be reselling my bottle. I just took a peek at the main accords on WATANI and it seems like those are more in line with my INTENSE bottle. I wonder if they labeled mine wrong. My bottle clearly says "Intense".

On my wishlist. Between Watani and this, I prefer this. Very unique scent profile. Very sweet, perfumy, strong out of the box. Will probably limit to a few sprays on my skin only. No clothes. Can be polarising. But I love it.
